1 A nd it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,

Aconteció en el año duodécimo, en el mes duodécimo, el día primero del mes, que vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

2 ` Son of man, lift up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and thou hast said unto him: A young lion of nations thou hast been like, And thou as a dragon in the seas, And thou comest forth with thy flowings, And dost trouble the waters with thy feet, And thou dost foul their flowings.

Hijo de hombre, levanta endechas sobre Faraón rey de Egipto, y dile: A leoncillo de naciones eres semejante, y eres como el dragón en los mares; pues secabas tus ríos, y enturbiabas las aguas con tus pies, y hollabas sus riberas.

3 T hus said the Lord Jehovah: And -- I have spread out for thee My net, With an assembly of many peoples, And they have brought thee up in My net.

Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Yo extenderé sobre ti mi red con reunión de muchos pueblos, y te harán subir con mi red.

4 A nd I have left thee in the land, On the face of the field I do cast thee out, And have caused to dwell upon thee every fowl of the heavens, And have satisfied out of thee the beasts of the whole earth.

Y te dejaré en tierra, te echaré sobre la faz del campo, y haré posar sobre ti todas las aves del cielo, y saciaré de ti a las fieras de toda la tierra.

5 A nd I have put thy flesh on the mountains, And filled the valleys thy hugeness,

Pondré tus carnes sobre los montes, y llenaré los valles de tus cadáveres.

6 A nd watered the land with thy flowing, From thy blood -- unto the mountains, And streams are filled from thee.

Y regaré de tu sangre la tierra donde nadas, hasta los montes; y los arroyos se llenarán de ti.

7 A nd in quenching thee I have covered the heavens, And have made black their stars, The sun with a cloud I do cover, And the moon causeth not its light to shine.

Y cuando te haya extinguido, cubriré los cielos, y haré entenebrecer sus estrellas; el sol cubriré con nublado, y la luna no hará resplandecer su luz.

8 A ll luminaries of light in the heavens, I make black over thee, And I have given darkness over thy land, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah,

Haré entenebrecer todos los astros brillantes del cielo por ti, y pondré tinieblas sobre tu tierra, dice Jehová el Señor.

9 A nd I have vexed the heart of many peoples, In My bringing in thy destruction among nations, Unto lands that thou hast not known.

Y entristeceré el corazón de muchos pueblos, cuando lleve al cautiverio a los tuyos entre las naciones, por las tierras que no conociste.

10 A nd I have made many peoples astonished at thee, And their kings are afraid at thee with trembling, In My brandishing My sword before their faces, And they have trembled every moment, Each for his life -- in the day of thy fall.

Y dejaré atónitos por ti a muchos pueblos, y sus reyes tendrán horror grande a causa de ti, cuando haga resplandecer mi espada delante de sus rostros; y todos se sobresaltarán en sus ánimos a cada momento en el día de tu caída.

11 F or thus said the Lord Jehovah: A sword of the king of Babylon entereth thee,

Porque así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: La espada del rey de Babilonia vendrá sobre ti.

12 B y swords of the mighty I cause thy multitude to fall, The terrible of nations -- all of them, And they have spoiled the excellency of Egypt, And destroyed hath been all her multitude.

Con espadas de fuertes haré caer tu pueblo; todos ellos serán los poderosos de las naciones; y destruirán la soberbia de Egipto, y toda su multitud será deshecha.

13 A nd I have destroyed all her beasts, From beside many waters, And trouble them not doth a foot of man any more, Yea, the hoofs of beasts trouble them not.

Todas sus bestias destruiré de sobre las muchas aguas; ni más las enturbiará pie de hombre, ni pezuña de bestia las enturbiará.

14 T hen do I cause their waters to sink, And their rivers as oil I cause to go, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

Entonces haré asentarse sus aguas, y haré correr sus ríos como aceite, dice Jehová el Señor.

15 I n My making the land of Egypt a desolation, And desolated hath been the land of its fulness, In My smiting all the inhabitants in it, And they have known that I Jehovah.

Cuando asuele la tierra de Egipto, y la tierra quede despojada de todo cuanto en ella hay, cuando mate a todos los que en ella moran, sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

16 A lamentation it, and they have lamented her, Daughters of the nations do lament her, For Egypt, and for all her multitude, they lament her, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

Esta es la endecha, y la cantarán; las hijas de las naciones la cantarán; endecharán sobre Egipto y sobre toda su multitud, dice Jehová el Señor.

17 A nd it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,

Aconteció en el año duodécimo, a los quince días del mes, que vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

18 ` Son of man, Wail for the multitude of Egypt, And cause it to go down, It -- and the daughters of honourable nations, Unto the earth -- the lower parts, With those going down to the pit.

Hijo de hombre, endecha sobre la multitud de Egipto, y despéñalo a él, y a las hijas de las naciones poderosas, a lo profundo de la tierra, con los que descienden a la sepultura.

19 T han whom hast thou been more pleasant? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.

Porque eres tan hermoso, desciende, y yace con los incircuncisos.

20 I n the midst of the pierced of the sword they fall, the sword she hath been given, They drew her out, and all her multitude.

Entre los muertos a espada caerá; a la espada es entregado; traedlo a él y a todos sus pueblos.

21 S peak to him do the gods of the mighty out of the midst of sheol, With his helpers -- they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword.

De en medio del Seol hablarán a él los fuertes de los fuertes, con los que le ayudaron, que descendieron y yacen con los incircuncisos muertos a espada.

22 T here Asshur, and all her assembly, Round about him his graves, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword,

Allí está Asiria con toda su multitud; en derredor de él están sus sepulcros; todos ellos cayeron muertos a espada.

23 W hose graves are appointed in the sides of the pit, And her assembly is round about her grave, All of them wounded, falling by sword, Because they gave terror in the land of the living.

Sus sepulcros fueron puestos a los lados de la fosa, y su gente está por los alrededores de su sepulcro; todos ellos cayeron muertos a espada, los cuales sembraron el terror en la tierra de los vivientes.

24 T here Elam, and all her multitude, Round about her grave, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised unto the earth -- the lower parts, Because they gave their terror in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.

Allí Elam, y toda su multitud por los alrededores de su sepulcro; todos ellos cayeron muertos a espada, los cuales descendieron incircuncisos a lo más profundo de la tierra, porque sembraron su terror en la tierra de los vivientes, mas llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro.

25 I n the midst of the wounded they have appointed a bed for her with all her multitude, Round about him her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For their terror was given in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit, In the midst of the pierced he hath been put.

En medio de los muertos le pusieron lecho con toda su multitud; a sus alrededores están sus sepulcros; todos ellos incircuncisos, muertos a espada, porque fue puesto su espanto en la tierra de los vivientes, mas llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro; él fue puesto en medio de los muertos.

26 T here Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude, Round about him her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For they gave their terror in the land of the living,

Allí Mesec y Tubal, y toda su multitud; sus sepulcros en sus alrededores; todos ellos incircuncisos, muertos a espada, porque habían sembrado su terror en la tierra de los vivientes.

27 A nd they lie not with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

Y no yacerán con los fuertes de los incircuncisos que cayeron, los cuales descendieron al Seol con sus armas de guerra, y sus espadas puestas debajo de sus cabezas; mas sus pecados estarán sobre sus huesos, por cuanto fueron terror de fuertes en la tierra de los vivientes.

28 A nd thou, in the midst of the uncircumcised art broken, And dost lie with the pierced of the sword.

Tú, pues, serás quebrantado entre los incircuncisos, y yacerás con los muertos a espada.

29 T here Edom, her kings, and all her princes, Who have been given up in their might, With the pierced of the sword, They with the uncircumcised do lie, And with those going down to the pit.

Allí Edom, sus reyes y todos sus príncipes, los cuales con su poderío fueron puestos con los muertos a espada; ellos yacerán con los incircuncisos, y con los que descienden al sepulcro.

30 T here princes of the north, All of them, and every Zidonian, Who have gone down with the pierced in their terror, Of their might they are ashamed, And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced of the sword, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.

Allí los príncipes del norte, todos ellos, y todos los sidonios, que con su terror descendieron con los muertos, avergonzados de su poderío, yacen también incircuncisos con los muertos a espada, y comparten su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro.

31 T hen doth Pharaoh see, And he hath been comforted for all his multitude, The pierced of the sword -- Pharaoh and all his force, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

A éstos verá Faraón, y se consolará sobre toda su multitud; Faraón muerto a espada, y todo su ejército, dice Jehová el Señor.

32 F or I have given his terror in the land of the living, And he hath been laid down in the midst of the uncircumcised, With the pierced of the sword -- Pharaoh, and all his multitude, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'

Porque puse mi terror en la tierra de los vivientes, también Faraón y toda su multitud yacerán entre los incircuncisos con los muertos a espada, dice Jehová el Señor.
