1 A nd when he openeth the seventh seal, there came silence in the heaven about half-an-hour,

Cuando abrió el séptimo sello, se hizo silencio en el cielo como por media hora.

2 a nd I saw the seven messengers who before God have stood, and there were given to them seven trumpets,

Y vi a los siete ángeles que estaban en pie ante Dios; y se les dieron siete trompetas.

3 a nd another messenger did come, and he stood at the altar, having a golden censer, and there was given to him much perfume, that he may give to the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar that before the throne,

Otro ángel vino entonces y se paró ante el altar, con un incensario de oro; y se le dio mucho incienso para añadirlo a las oraciones de todos los santos, sobre el altar de oro que estaba delante del trono.

4 a nd go up did the smoke of the perfumes to the prayers of the saints out of the hand of the messenger, before God;

Y de la mano del ángel subió a la presencia de Dios el humo del incienso con las oraciones de los santos.

5 a nd the messenger took the censer, and did fill it out of the fire of the altar, and did cast to the earth, and there came voices, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Y el ángel tomó el incensario, y lo llenó del fuego del altar, y lo arrojó a la tierra; y hubo truenos, y voces, y relámpagos, y un terremoto. Las trompetas

6 A nd the seven messengers who are having the seven trumpets did prepare themselves that they may sound;

Y los siete ángeles que tenían las siete trompetas se dispusieron a tocarlas.

7 a nd the first messenger did sound, and there came hail and fire, mingled with blood, and it was cast to the land, and the third of the trees was burnt up, and all the green grass was burnt up.

El primer ángel tocó la trompeta, y hubo granizo y fuego mezclados con sangre, que fueron lanzados sobre la tierra; y la tercera parte de los árboles se quemó, y se quemó toda la hierba verde.

8 A nd the second messenger did sound, and as it were a great mountain with fire burning was cast into the sea, and the third of the sea became blood,

El segundo ángel tocó la trompeta, y como una gran montaña ardiendo en fuego fue precipitada en el mar; y la tercera parte del mar se convirtió en sangre.

9 a nd die did the third of the creatures that in the sea, those having life, and the third of the ships were destroyed.

Y murió la tercera parte de los seres vivientes que estaban en el mar, y la tercera parte de las naves fue destruida.

10 A nd the third messenger did sound, and there fell out of the heaven a great star, burning as a lamp, and it did fall upon the third of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters,

El tercer ángel tocó la trompeta, y cayó del cielo una gran estrella, ardiendo como una antorcha, y cayó sobre la tercera parte de los ríos, y sobre las fuentes de las aguas.

11 a nd the name of the star is called Wormwood, and the third of the waters doth become wormwood, and many of the men did die of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Y el nombre de la estrella es Ajenjo. Y la tercera parte de las aguas se convirtió en ajenjo; y muchos hombres murieron a causa de esas aguas, porque se hicieron amargas.

12 A nd the fourth messenger did sound, and smitten was the third of the sun, and the third of the moon, and the third of the stars, that darkened may be the third of them, and that the day may not shine -- the third of it, and the night in like manner.

El cuarto ángel tocó la trompeta, y fue herida la tercera parte del sol, y la tercera parte de la luna, y la tercera parte de las estrellas, para que se oscureciese la tercera parte de ellos, y no hubiese luz en la tercera parte del día, y asimismo de la noche.

13 A nd I saw, and I heard one messenger, flying in the mid-heaven, saying with a great voice, `Wo, wo, wo, to those dwelling upon the land from the rest of the voices of the trumpet of the three messengers who are about to sound.'

Y miré, y oí a un ángel volar por en medio del cielo, diciendo a gran voz:!! Ay, ay, ay, de los que moran en la tierra, a causa de los otros toques de trompeta que están para sonar los tres ángeles!
