1 O the happiness of that one, who Hath not walked in the counsel of the wicked. And in the way of sinners hath not stood, And in the seat of scorners hath not sat;

Bienaventurado el varón que no anduvo en consejo de malos, Ni estuvo en camino de pecadores, Ni en silla de escarnecedores se ha sentado;

2 B ut -- in the law of Jehovah his delight, And in His law he doth meditate by day and by night:

Sino que en la ley de Jehová está su delicia, Y en su ley medita de día y de noche.

3 A nd he hath been as a tree, Planted by rivulets of water, That giveth its fruit in its season, And its leaf doth not wither, And all that he doth he causeth to prosper.

Será como árbol plantado junto a corrientes de aguas, Que da su fruto en su tiempo, Y su hoja no cae; Y todo lo que hace, prosperará.

4 N ot so the wicked: But -- as chaff that wind driveth away!

No así los malos, Que son como el tamo que arrebata el viento.

5 T herefore the wicked rise not in judgment, Nor sinners in the company of the righteous,

Por tanto, no se levantarán los malos en el juicio, Ni los pecadores en la congregación de los justos.

6 F or Jehovah is knowing the way of the righteous, And the way of the wicked is lost!

Porque Jehová conoce el camino de los justos; Mas la senda de los malos perecerá.
