1 B y David, in his changing his behaviour before Abimelech, and he driveth him away, and he goeth. I do bless Jehovah at all times, Continually His praise in my mouth.

Bendeciré a Jehová en todo tiempo; Su alabanza estará de continuo en mi boca.

2 I n Jehovah doth my soul boast herself, Hear do the humble and rejoice.

En Jehová se gloriará mi alma; Lo oirán los mansos, y se alegrarán.

3 A scribe ye greatness to Jehovah with me, And we exalt His name together.

Engrandeced a Jehová conmigo, Y exaltemos a una su nombre.

4 I sought Jehovah, and He answered me, And from all my fears did deliver me.

Busqué a Jehová, y él me oyó, Y me libró de todos mis temores.

5 T hey looked expectingly unto Him, And they became bright, And their faces are not ashamed.

Los que miraron a él fueron alumbrados, Y sus rostros no fueron avergonzados.

6 T his poor called, and Jehovah heard, And from all his distresses saved him.

Este pobre clamó, y le oyó Jehová, Y lo libró de todas sus angustias.

7 A messenger of Jehovah is encamping, Round about those who fear Him, And He armeth them.

El ángel de Jehová acampa alrededor de los que le temen, Y los defiende.

8 T aste ye and see that Jehovah good, O the happiness of the man who trusteth in Him.

Gustad, y ved que es bueno Jehová; Dichoso el hombre que confía en él.

9 F ear Jehovah, ye His holy ones, For there is no lack to those fearing Him.

Temed a Jehová, vosotros sus santos, Pues nada falta a los que le temen.

10 Y oung lions have lacked and been hungry, And those seeking Jehovah lack not any good,

Los leoncillos necesitan, y tienen hambre; Pero los que buscan a Jehová no tendrán falta de ningún bien.

11 C ome ye, children, hearken to me, The fear of Jehovah I do teach you.

Venid, hijos, oídme; El temor de Jehová os enseñaré.

12 W ho the man that is desiring life? Loving days to see good?

¿Quién es el hombre que desea vida, Que desea muchos días para ver el bien?

13 K eep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking deceit.

Guarda tu lengua del mal, Y tus labios de hablar engaño.

14 T urn aside from evil and do good, Seek peace and pursue it.

Apártate del mal, y haz el bien; Busca la paz, y síguela.

15 T he eyes of Jehovah unto the righteous, And His ears unto their cry.

Los ojos de Jehová están sobre los justos, Y atentos sus oídos al clamor de ellos.

16 ( The face of Jehovah on doers of evil, To cut off from earth their memorial.)

La ira de Jehová contra los que hacen mal, Para cortar de la tierra la memoria de ellos.

17 T hey cried, and Jehovah heard, And from all their distresses delivered them.

Claman los justos, y Jehová oye, Y los libra de todas sus angustias.

18 N ear Jehovah to the broken of heart, And the bruised of spirit He saveth.

Cercano está Jehová a los quebrantados de corazón; Y salva a los contritos de espíritu.

19 M any the evils of the righteous, Out of them all doth Jehovah deliver him.

Muchas son las aflicciones del justo, Pero de todas ellas le librará Jehová.

20 H e is keeping all his bones, One of them hath not been broken.

El guarda todos sus huesos; Ni uno de ellos será quebrantado.

21 E vil doth put to death the wicked, And those hating the righteous are desolate.

Matará al malo la maldad, Y los que aborrecen al justo serán condenados.

22 J ehovah redeemeth the soul of His servants, And none trusting in Him are desolate!

Jehová redime el alma de sus siervos, Y no serán condenados cuantos en él confían.
