1 A nd the heads of the fathers of the Levites draw nigh unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel,

2 a nd they speak unto them in Shiloh, in the land of Canaan, saying, `Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses to give to us cities to dwell in, and their suburbs for our cattle.'

y les hablaron en Silo en la tierra de Canaán, diciendo: Jehová mandó por medio de Moisés que nos fuesen dadas ciudades donde habitar, con sus ejidos para nuestros ganados.

3 A nd the sons of Israel give to the Levites, out of their inheritance, at the command of Jehovah, these cities and their suburbs:

Entonces los hijos de Israel dieron de su propia herencia a los levitas, conforme al mandato de Jehová, estas ciudades con sus ejidos.

4 A nd the lot goeth out for the families of the Kohathite, and there are for the sons of Aaron the priest (of the Levites), out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, by lot thirteen cities,

Y la suerte cayó sobre las familias de los coatitas; y los hijos de Aarón el sacerdote, que eran de los levitas, obtuvieron por suerte de la tribu de Judá, de la tribu de Simeón y de la tribu de Benjamín, trece ciudades.

5 a nd for the sons of Kohath who are left, out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, by lot ten cities:

Y los otros hijos de Coat obtuvieron por suerte diez ciudades de las familias de la tribu de Efraín, de la tribu de Dan y de la media tribu de Manasés.

6 A nd for the sons of Gershon, out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, by lot, thirteen cities.

Los hijos de Gersón obtuvieron por suerte, de las familias de la tribu de Isacar, de la tribu de Aser, de la tribu de Neftalí y de la media tribu de Manasés en Basán, trece ciudades.

7 F or the sons of Merari, for their families,, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

Los hijos de Merari según sus familias obtuvieron de la tribu de Rubén, de la tribu de Gad y de la tribu de Zabulón, doce ciudades.

8 A nd the sons of Israel give to the Levites these cities and their suburbs, as Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses, by lot.

Dieron, pues, los hijos de Israel a los levitas estas ciudades con sus ejidos, por suertes, como había mandado Jehová por conducto de Moisés.

9 A nd they give out of the tribe of the sons of Judah, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, these cities which are called by name;

De la tribu de los hijos de Judá, y de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, dieron estas ciudades que fueron nombradas,

10 a nd they are for the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathite, of the sons of Levi, for theirs hath been the first lot;

las cuales obtuvieron los hijos de Aarón de las familias de Coat, de los hijos de Leví; porque para ellos fue la suerte en primer lugar.

11 a nd they give to them the city of Arba father of Anak (it Hebron), in the hill-country of Judah, and its suburbs round about it;

Les dieron Quiriat-arba del padre de Anac, la cual es Hebrón, en el monte de Judá, con sus ejidos en sus contornos.

12 a nd the field of the city and its villages they have given to Caleb son of Jephunneh for his possession.

Mas el campo de la ciudad y sus aldeas dieron a Caleb hijo de Jefone, por posesión suya.

13 A nd to the sons of Aaron the priest they have given the city of refuge the man-slayer, Hebron and its suburbs, and Libnah and its suburbs,

Y a los hijos del sacerdote Aarón dieron Hebrón con sus ejidos como ciudad de refugio para los homicidas; además, Libna con sus ejidos,

14 a nd Jattir and its suburbs, and Eshtemoa and its suburbs,

Jatir con sus ejidos, Estemoa con sus ejidos,

15 a nd Holon and its suburbs, and Debir and its suburbs,

Holón con sus ejidos, Debir con sus ejidos,

16 a nd Ain and its suburbs, and Juttah and its suburbs, Beth-Shemesh and its suburbs; nine cities out of these two tribes.

Aín con sus ejidos, Juta con sus ejidos y Bet-semes con sus ejidos; nueve ciudades de estas dos tribus;

17 A nd out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon and its suburbs, Geba and its suburbs,

y de la tribu de Benjamín, Gabaón con sus ejidos, Geba con sus ejidos,

18 A nathoth and its suburbs, and Almon and its suburbs -- four cities;

Anatot con sus ejidos, Almón con sus ejidos; cuatro ciudades.

19 a ll the cities of the sons of Aaron the priests, thirteen cities and their suburbs.

Todas las ciudades de los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón son trece con sus ejidos.

20 A nd for the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, who are left of the sons of Kohath, even the cities of their lot are of the tribe of Ephraim;

Mas las familias de los hijos de Coat, levitas, los que quedaban de los hijos de Coat, recibieron por suerte ciudades de la tribu de Efraín.

21 a nd they give to them the city of refuge the man-slayer, Shechem and its suburbs, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Gezer and its suburbs,

Les dieron Siquem con sus ejidos, en el monte de Efraín, como ciudad de refugio para los homicidas; además, Gezer con su ejidos,

22 a nd Kibzaim and its suburbs, and Beth-Horon and its suburbs -- four cities.

Kibsaim con sus ejidos y Bet-horón con sus ejidos; cuatro ciudades.

23 A nd out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh and its suburbs, Gibbethon and its suburbs,

De la tribu de Dan, Elteque con sus ejidos, Gibetón con sus ejidos,

24 A ijalon and its suburbs, Gath-Rimmon and its suburbs -- four cities.

Ajalón con sus ejidos y Gat-rimón con sus ejidos; cuatro ciudades.

25 A nd out of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, Taanach and its suburbs, and Gath-Rimmon and its suburbs -- two cities;

Y de la media tribu de Manasés, Taanac con sus ejidos y Gat-rimón con sus ejidos; dos ciudades.

26 a ll the cities ten and their suburbs, for the families of the sons of Kohath who are left.

Todas las ciudades para el resto de las familias de los hijos de Coat fueron diez con sus ejidos.

27 A nd for the sons of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, the city of refuge the man-slayer, Golan in Bashan and its suburbs, and Beeshterah and its suburbs -- two cities.

A los hijos de Gersón de las familias de los levitas, dieron de la media tribu de Manasés a Golán en Basán con sus ejidos como ciudad de refugio para los homicidas, y además, Beestera con sus ejidos; dos ciudades.

28 A nd out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon and its suburbs, Dabarath and its suburbs,

32 A nd out of the tribe of Naphtali, the city of refuge the man-slayer, Kedesh in Galilee and its suburbs, and Hammoth-Dor and its suburbs, and Kartan and its suburbs -- three cities;

Y de la tribu de Neftalí, Cedes en Galilea con sus ejidos como ciudad de refugio para los homicidas, y además, Hamot-dor con sus ejidos y Cartán con sus ejidos; tres ciudades.

33 a ll the cities of the Gershonite, for their families, thirteen cities and their suburbs.

38 A nd out of the tribe of Gad, the city of refuge the man-slayer, Ramoth in Gilead and its suburbs, and Mahanaim and its suburbs,

De la tribu de Gad, Ramot de Galaad con sus ejidos como ciudad de refugio para los homicidas; además, Mahanaim con sus ejidos,

39 H eshbon and its suburbs, Jazer and its suburbs -- all four cities.

Hesbón con sus ejidos y Jazer con sus ejidos; cuatro ciudades.

40 A ll the cities for the sons of Merari, for their families, who are left of the families of the Levites -- their lot is twelve cities.

Todas las ciudades de los hijos de Merari por sus familias, que restaban de las familias de los levitas, fueron por sus suertes doce ciudades.

41 A ll the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the sons of Israel forty and eight cities, and their suburbs.

Y todas las ciudades de los levitas en medio de la posesión de los hijos de Israel, fueron cuarenta y ocho ciudades con sus ejidos.

42 T hese cities are each city and its suburbs round about it; so to all these cities.

Y estas ciudades estaban apartadas la una de la otra, cada cual con sus ejidos alrededor de ella; así fue con todas estas ciudades. Israel ocupa la tierra

43 A nd Jehovah giveth to Israel the whole of the land which He hath sworn to give to their fathers, and they possess it, and dwell in it;

De esta manera dio Jehová a Israel toda la tierra que había jurado dar a sus padres, y la poseyeron y habitaron en ella.

44 a nd Jehovah giveth rest to them round about, according to all that which He hath sworn to their fathers, and there hath not stood a man in their presence of all their enemies, the whole of their enemies hath Jehovah given into their hand;

Y Jehová les dio reposo alrededor, conforme a todo lo que había jurado a sus padres; y ninguno de todos sus enemigos pudo hacerles frente, porque Jehová entregó en sus manos a todos sus enemigos.

45 t here hath not fallen a thing of all the good thing which Jehovah spake unto the house of Israel -- the whole hath come.

No faltó palabra de todas las buenas promesas que Jehová había hecho a la casa de Israel; todo se cumplió.
