1 A nd it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,

Aconteció en el año duodécimo, en el mes duodécimo, el día primero del mes, que vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

2 ` Son of man, lift up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and thou hast said unto him: A young lion of nations thou hast been like, And thou as a dragon in the seas, And thou comest forth with thy flowings, And dost trouble the waters with thy feet, And thou dost foul their flowings.

Hijo de hombre, levanta endechas sobre Faraón rey de Egipto, y dile: A leoncillo de las naciones te hiciste semejante, cuando eras como el dragón en los mares; pues hacías hervir las aguas con tus narices, y enturbiabas las aguas con tus pies, y hollabas sus riberas.

3 T hus said the Lord Jehovah: And -- I have spread out for thee My net, With an assembly of many peoples, And they have brought thee up in My net.

Así dice el Señor Jehová: Yo extenderé sobre ti mi red con reunión de muchos pueblos, y te harán subir con mi red.

4 A nd I have left thee in the land, On the face of the field I do cast thee out, And have caused to dwell upon thee every fowl of the heavens, And have satisfied out of thee the beasts of the whole earth.

Y te echaré por tierra, te arrojaré sobre la faz del campo, y haré posar sobre ti todas las aves del cielo, y saciaré de ti a las fieras de toda la tierra.

5 A nd I have put thy flesh on the mountains, And filled the valleys thy hugeness,

Pondré tus carnes sobre los montes, y llenaré de tus cadáveres los valles.

6 A nd watered the land with thy flowing, From thy blood -- unto the mountains, And streams are filled from thee.

Y regaré de tu sangre la tierra donde nadas, hasta los montes; y los barrancos se llenarán de ti.

7 A nd in quenching thee I have covered the heavens, And have made black their stars, The sun with a cloud I do cover, And the moon causeth not its light to shine.

Y cuando te haya extinguido, cubriré los cielos, y haré entenebrecer sus estrellas; cubriré el sol con nublado, y la luna no hará resplandecer su luz.

8 A ll luminaries of light in the heavens, I make black over thee, And I have given darkness over thy land, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah,

Haré entenebrecer todos los astros brillantes del cielo por ti, y pondré tinieblas sobre tu tierra, dice el Señor Jehová.

9 A nd I have vexed the heart of many peoples, In My bringing in thy destruction among nations, Unto lands that thou hast not known.

Y llenaré de terror el corazón de muchos pueblos, cuando haga llegar la noticia de tu ruina entre las naciones, por las tierras que no conociste.

10 A nd I have made many peoples astonished at thee, And their kings are afraid at thee with trembling, In My brandishing My sword before their faces, And they have trembled every moment, Each for his life -- in the day of thy fall.

Y dejaré atónitos por ti a muchos pueblos, y sus reyes tendrán horror grande a causa de ti, cuando yo blanda mi espada delante de sus rostros; y temblarán en cada momento, cada uno por su vida, en el día de tu caída.

11 F or thus said the Lord Jehovah: A sword of the king of Babylon entereth thee,

Porque así dice el Señor Jehová: La espada del rey de Babilonia vendrá sobre ti.

12 B y swords of the mighty I cause thy multitude to fall, The terrible of nations -- all of them, And they have spoiled the excellency of Egypt, And destroyed hath been all her multitude.

Con las espadas de los fuertes haré caer a tu pueblo; todos ellos son los más feroces de las naciones; y destruirán la soberbia de Egipto, y toda su multitud será deshecha.

13 A nd I have destroyed all her beasts, From beside many waters, And trouble them not doth a foot of man any more, Yea, the hoofs of beasts trouble them not.

Destruiré todo su ganado de junto a las muchas aguas; ni las enturbiará más pie de hombre; ni las enturbiará pezuña de bestia.

14 T hen do I cause their waters to sink, And their rivers as oil I cause to go, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

Entonces haré que se asienten sus aguas, y haré correr sus ríos como aceite, dice el Señor Jehová.

15 I n My making the land of Egypt a desolation, And desolated hath been the land of its fulness, In My smiting all the inhabitants in it, And they have known that I Jehovah.

Cuando asuele la tierra de Egipto, y la tierra quede despojada de todo cuanto en ella había, cuando hiera a todos los que en ella moran, sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

16 A lamentation it, and they have lamented her, Daughters of the nations do lament her, For Egypt, and for all her multitude, they lament her, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

Esta es la lamentación con que la endecharán; las hijas de las naciones la cantarán; endecharán sobre Egipto y sobre toda su multitud, dice el Señor Jehová.

17 A nd it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,

Aconteció en el año duodécimo, a los quince días del mes, que vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

18 ` Son of man, Wail for the multitude of Egypt, And cause it to go down, It -- and the daughters of honourable nations, Unto the earth -- the lower parts, With those going down to the pit.

Hijo de hombre, endecha sobre la multitud de Egipto, y despéñalo a él, y a las hijas de las naciones poderosas, a lo profundo de la tierra, con los que descienden a la sepultura.

19 T han whom hast thou been more pleasant? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.

¿A quién superas en hermosura? Desciende, y yace con los incircuncisos.

20 I n the midst of the pierced of the sword they fall, the sword she hath been given, They drew her out, and all her multitude.

Caerán entre los muertos a espada; a la espada es entregado; hacedle bajar a él y a todo su pueblo.

21 S peak to him do the gods of the mighty out of the midst of sheol, With his helpers -- they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword.

De en medio del Seol hablarán de él los más fuertes entre los fuertes, con los que le ayudaron; descendieron y yacen inmóviles los incircuncisos, muertos a espada.

22 T here Asshur, and all her assembly, Round about him his graves, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword,

Allí está Asiria con toda su multitud; en derredor de ellos están sus sepulcros; todos ellos muertos, caídos a espada.

23 W hose graves are appointed in the sides of the pit, And her assembly is round about her grave, All of them wounded, falling by sword, Because they gave terror in the land of the living.

Sus sepulcros están situados en lo más profundo de la fosa, y su gente está por los alrededores de su sepulcro; todos ellos muertos, caídos a espada, los cuales sembraban el terror en la tierra de los vivientes.

24 T here Elam, and all her multitude, Round about her grave, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised unto the earth -- the lower parts, Because they gave their terror in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.

Allí está Elam, y toda su multitud por los alrededores de su sepulcro; todos ellos muertos, caídos a espada, los cuales descendieron incircuncisos a lo más profundo de la tierra, los que sembraban el terror en la tierra de los vivientes, mas llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro.

25 I n the midst of the wounded they have appointed a bed for her with all her multitude, Round about him her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For their terror was given in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit, In the midst of the pierced he hath been put.

En medio de los muertos le pusieron un lecho con toda su multitud; a sus alrededores están sus sepulcros; todos ellos incircuncisos, muertos a espada, porque fue puesto su espanto en la tierra de los vivientes, mas llevaron su ignominia con los que descienden al sepulcro; están puestos en medio de los muertos.

26 T here Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude, Round about him her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For they gave their terror in the land of the living,

Allí están Mésec, Tubal y toda su multitud; sus sepulcros están a su alrededor; todos ellos incircuncisos, muertos a espada, porque habían sembrado su terror en la tierra de los vivientes.

27 A nd they lie not with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

Y los que son inferiores a los otros incircuncisos no yacerán con los fuertes que descendieron al Seol con sus armas de guerra, cuyas espadas están puestas debajo de sus cabezas y cuyos pecados están sobre sus huesos, por cuanto el terror de los fuertes fue en la tierra de los vivientes.

28 A nd thou, in the midst of the uncircumcised art broken, And dost lie with the pierced of the sword.

Pero tú serás quebrantado entre los incircuncisos, y yacerás con los muertos a espada.

29 T here Edom, her kings, and all her princes, Who have been given up in their might, With the pierced of the sword, They with the uncircumcised do lie, And with those going down to the pit.

Allí está Edom, sus reyes y todos sus príncipes, los cuales, a pesar de todo su vigor, yacen con los muertos a espada; ellos yacerán con los incircuncisos, y con los que descienden al sepulcro.

30 T here princes of the north, All of them, and every Zidonian, Who have gone down with the pierced in their terror, Of their might they are ashamed, And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced of the sword, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.

Allí están los príncipes del norte, todos ellos, y todos los sidonios, que descendieron con los muertos, avergonzados por todo el terror que causaron con su poderío, y yacen también incircuncisos con los muertos a espada, y comparten su vergüenza con los que descienden al sepulcro.

31 T hen doth Pharaoh see, And he hath been comforted for all his multitude, The pierced of the sword -- Pharaoh and all his force, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

A éstos verá Faraón, y se consolará sobre toda su multitud; Faraón muerto a espada, y todo su ejército, dice el Señor Jehová.

32 F or I have given his terror in the land of the living, And he hath been laid down in the midst of the uncircumcised, With the pierced of the sword -- Pharaoh, and all his multitude, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'

Porque yo puse mi terror en la tierra de los vivientes; y ahora Faraón y toda su multitud yacerán entre los incircuncisos con los muertos a espada, dice el Señor Jehová.
