1 A nd he causeth me to go to the gate, the gate that is looking eastward.

Me llevó luego a la puerta, a la puerta que mira hacia el oriente;

2 A nd lo, the honour of the God of Israel hath come from the way of the east, and His voice as the noise of many waters, and the earth hath shone from His honour.

y he aquí que la gloria del Dios de Israel venía del oriente; y su sonido era como el sonido de muchas aguas, y la tierra resplandecía a causa de su gloria.

3 A nd according to the appearance the appearance that I saw, as the appearance that I saw in my coming in to destroy the city, and the appearances as the appearance that I saw at the river Chebar, and I fall on my face.

Y el aspecto de la visión que vi era como aquella visión que vi cuando vine para destruir la ciudad; y las visiones eran como la visión que vi junto al río Quebar; y me postré sobre mi rostro.

4 A nd the honour of Jehovah hath come in unto the house, the way of the gate whose face eastward.

Y la gloria de Jehová entró en la casa por la vía de la puerta que daba al oriente.

5 A nd take me up doth the Spirit, and bringeth me in unto the inner court, and lo, the honour of Jehovah hath filled the house.

Y me alzó un espíritu y me llevó al atrio interior; y he aquí que la gloria de Jehová llenaba la casa. Leyes del templo

6 A nd I hear one speaking unto me from the house, and a man hath been standing near me,

Y oí a alguien que me hablaba desde la casa; y se puso un varón junto a mí,

7 a nd He saith unto me: `Son of man, the place of My throne, And the place of the soles of My feet, Where I dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel to the age, Defile no more do the house of Israel My holy name, They, and their kings, by their whoredom, And by the carcases of their kings -- their high places.

y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, éste es el lugar de mi trono, el lugar donde posaré las plantas de mis pies, en el cual habitaré en medio de los hijos de Israel para siempre; y nunca más profanará la casa de Israel mi santo nombre, ni ellos ni sus reyes, con sus fornicaciones, y con los cadáveres de sus reyes en sus lugares altos;

8 I n their putting their threshold with My threshold, And their door-post near My door-post, And the wall between Me and them, And they have defiled My holy name, By their abominations that they have done, And I consume them in Mine anger.

poniendo ellos su umbral junto a mi umbral, y su contrafuerte junto a mi contrafuerte, mediando sólo una pared entre mí y ellos, y han contaminado mi santo nombre con las abominaciones que cometieron; por lo cual los consumí en mi furor.

9 N ow do they put far off their whoredom, And the carcases of their kings -- from Me, And I have dwelt in their midst to the age.

Ahora arrojarán lejos de mí sus fornicaciones, y los cadáveres de sus reyes, y habitaré en medio de ellos para siempre.

10 T hou, son of man, Shew the house of Israel the house, And they are ashamed of their iniquities, And they have measured the measurement.

Tú, hijo de hombre, muestra a la casa de Israel esta casa, para que se avergüencen de sus pecados; y que midan con esmero.

11 A nd since they have been ashamed of all that they have done, The form of the house, and its measurement, And its outlets, and its inlets, and all its forms, And all its statutes, even all its forms, And all its laws cause them to know, And write before their eyes, And they observe all its forms, And all its statutes, and have done them.

Y si se avergüenzan de todo lo que han hecho, hazles entender el diseño de la casa, su disposición, sus salidas y sus entradas, y todas sus formas, y todas sus ordenanzas, y todas sus configuraciones, y todas sus leyes; y ponlo dibujado delante de sus ojos, para que guarden toda su forma y todas sus ordenanzas, y las pongan por obra.

12 T his a law of the house: on the top of the mountain, all its border all round about most holy; lo, this a law of the house.

Esta es la ley de la casa: Sobre la cumbre del monte, el recinto entero, todo en derredor, será santísimo. He aquí que ésta es la ley de la casa.

13 ` And these measures of the altar by cubits: The cubit a cubit and a handbreadth, and the centre a cubit, and a cubit the breadth; and its border on its edge round about one span, and this the upper part of the altar.

Estas son las medidas del altar por codos (el codo de a codo y un palmo). La base, de un codo, y de un codo el ancho; y su remate por su borde alrededor, de un palmo. Éste será el borde del altar.

14 A nd from the centre of the ground unto the lower border two cubits, and the breadth one cubit, and from the lesser border unto the greater border four cubits, and the breadth a cubit.

Y desde la base, sobre el suelo, hasta el zócalo inferior, dos codos, y la anchura de un codo; y desde el zócalo pequeño hasta el zócalo grande, cuatro codos, y el ancho de un codo.

15 ` And the altar four cubits, and from the altar and upward four horns.

El fogón del altar será de cuatro codos, y saliendo del fogón hacia arriba habrá cuatro cuernos.

16 A nd the altar twelve long by twelve broad, square in its four squares.

Y el altar tendrá doce codos de largo, y doce de ancho, cuadrado a sus cuatro lados.

17 A nd the border fourteen long by fourteen broad, at its four squares, and the border round about it half a cubit, and the centre to it a cubit round about, and its steps are looking eastward.'

El zócalo será de catorce codos de longitud y catorce de anchura en sus cuatro lados, y de medio codo el borde alrededor; y la base, de un codo por todos lados; y sus gradas estarán mirando al oriente.

18 A nd He saith unto me, `Son of man, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: These statutes of the altar in the day of its being made to cause burnt-offering to go up on it, and to sprinkle on it blood.

Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, así dice el Señor Jehová: Estas son las ordenanzas del altar el día en que sea hecho, para ofrecer holocausto sobre él y para esparcir sobre él sangre.

19 A nd thou hast given unto the priests, the Levites, who of the seed of Zadok -- who are near unto Me, an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, to serve Me -- a calf from the herd, for a sin-offering.

A los sacerdotes levitas que son del linaje de Sadoc, que se acercan a mí para ministrar ante mí, dice el Señor Jehová, les darás un becerro de la vacada para expiación.

20 A nd thou hast taken of its blood, and hast put it on its four horns, and on the four corners of its border, and on the border round about, and hast cleansed it, and purified it.

Y tomarás de su sangre, y la pondrás en los cuatro cuernos del altar, y en las cuatro esquinas del zócalo, y en el borde alrededor; así lo purificarás y harás expiación por él.

21 A nd thou hast taken the bullock of the sin-offering, and hast burnt it in the appointed place of the house at the outside of the sanctuary.

Tomarás luego el becerro de la expiación, y será quemado en la dependencia de la casa, designada fuera del santuario.

22 A nd on the second day thou dost bring near a kid of the goats, a perfect one, for a sin-offering, and they have cleansed the altar, as they cleansed for the bullock.

Al segundo día ofrecerás un macho cabrío sin defecto, para expiación; y purificarán el altar como lo purificaron con el becerro.

23 I n thy finishing cleansing, thou dost bring near a calf, a son of the herd, a perfect one, and a ram out of the flock, a perfect one.

Cuando acabes de expiar, ofrecerás un becerro de la vacada sin defecto, y un carnero de la manada sin tacha;

24 A nd thou hast brought them near before Jehovah, and the priests have cast upon them salt, and have caused them to go up, a burnt-offering to Jehovah.

y los ofrecerás delante de Jehová, y los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos, y los ofrecerán en holocausto a Jehová.

25 S even days thou dost prepare a goat for a sin-offering daily, and a bullock, a son of the herd, and a ram out of the flock, perfect ones, do they prepare.

Durante siete días prepararás un macho cabrío cada día para ofrecerlo en expiación por el pecado; asimismo prepararán para el sacrificio el becerro de la vacada y un carnero sin tacha del rebaño.

26 S even days they purify the altar, and have cleansed it, and filled their hand.

Durante siete días harán expiación por el altar, y lo purificarán, y así lo consagrarán.

27 A nd the days are completed, and it hath come to pass on the eighth day, and henceforth, the priests prepare on the altar your burnt-offerings and your peace-offerings, and I have accepted you -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

Y acabados estos días, del octavo día en adelante, los sacerdotes sacrificarán sobre el altar vuestros holocaustos y vuestras ofrendas de paz; y me seréis aceptos, dice el Señor Jehová.
