1 T o the Overseer. -- By sons of Korah. A Psalm. Thou hast accepted, O Jehovah, Thy land, Thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob.

Fuiste propicio a tu tierra, oh Jehová; Has hecho volver a los cautivos de Jacob.

2 T hou hast borne away the iniquity of Thy people, Thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

Perdonaste la iniquidad de tu pueblo; Todos los pecados de ellos cubriste. Selah

3 T hou hast gathered up all Thy wrath, Thou hast turned back from the fierceness of Thine anger.

Reprimiste todo tu enojo; Te apartaste del ardor de tu ira.

4 T urn back us, O God of our salvation, And make void Thine anger with us.

Restáuranos, oh Dios de nuestra salvación, Y haz cesar tu ira de sobre nosotros.

5 T o the age art Thou angry against us? Dost Thou draw out Thine anger To generation and generation?

¿Estarás enojado contra nosotros para siempre? ¿Extenderás tu ira de generación en generación?

6 D ost Thou not turn back? Thou revivest us, And Thy people do rejoice in Thee.

¿No volverás a darnos vida, Para que tu pueblo se regocije en ti?

7 S how us, O Jehovah, thy kindness, And Thy salvation Thou dost give to us.

Muéstranos, oh Jehová, tu misericordia, Y danos tu salvación.

8 I hear what God Jehovah speaketh, For He speaketh peace unto His people, And unto His saints, and they turn not back to folly.

Escucharé lo que hablará Jehová Dios; Porque hablará paz a su pueblo y a sus santos, Para que no vuelvan a la locura.

9 O nly, near to those fearing Him His salvation, That honour may dwell in our land.

Ciertamente cercana está su salvación a los que le temen, Para que habite la gloria en nuestra tierra.

10 K indness and truth have met, Righteousness and peace have kissed,

La misericordia y la verdad se encontraron; La justicia y la paz se besaron.

11 T ruth from the earth springeth up, And righteousness from heaven looketh out,

La verdad brotará de la tierra, Y la justicia mirará desde los cielos.

12 J ehovah also giveth that which is good, And our land doth give its increase.

Jehová dará también la dicha, Y nuestra tierra dará su cosecha.

13 R ighteousness before Him goeth, And maketh His footsteps for a way!

La justicia irá delante de él, Y la paz seguirá sus pisadas.
