Solamente en Dios descansa mi alma; De él viene mi salvación.

Solamente él es mi roca y mi salvación; Es mi refugio, no resbalaré mucho.

3 T ill when do ye devise mischief against a man? Ye are destroyed all of you, As a wall inclined, a hedge that is cast down.

¿Hasta cuándo maquinaréis contra un hombre, Tratando todos vosotros de aplastarle Como pared que se desploma y como cerca que se derrumba?

4 O nly -- from his excellency They have consulted to drive away, They enjoy a lie, with their mouth they bless, And with their heart revile. Selah.

Solamente consultan para arrojarle de su altura. Aman la mentira; Con su boca bendicen, pero maldicen en su corazón. Selah

5 O nly -- for God, be silent, O my soul, For from Him my hope.

Alma mía, reposa solamente en Dios, Porque de él procede mi esperanza.

6 O nly -- He my rock and my salvation, My tower, I am not moved.

Solamente él es mi roca y mi salvación. Es mi refugio, no resbalaré.

7 O n God my salvation, and my honour, The rock of my strength, my refuge in God.

En Dios está mi salvación y mi gloria; En Dios está mi roca fuerte, y mi refugio.

8 T rust in Him at all times, O people, Pour forth before Him your heart, God a refuge for us. Selah.

Esperad en él en todo tiempo, oh pueblos; Derramad delante de él vuestro corazón; Dios es nuestro refugio. Selah

9 O nly -- vanity the low, a lie the high. In balances to go up they than vanity lighter.

Por cierto, como un soplo son los hijos de los hombres, mentira los hijos de los notables; Pesándolos a todos juntos en la balanza, Serán más leves que un soplo.

10 T rust not in oppression, And in robbery become not vain, Wealth -- when it increaseth -- set not the heart.

No confiéis en la violencia, Ni en la rapiña; no os envanezcáis: Si se aumentan las riquezas, no pongáis el corazón en ellas.

11 O nce hath God spoken, twice I heard this, That `strength with God.'

Una cosa ha dicho Dios; Dos veces la he oído yo: Que de Dios es el poder,

12 A nd with Thee, O Lord, kindness, For Thou dost recompense to each, According to his work!

Y tuya, oh Señor, es la misericordia; Porque tú pagas a cada uno conforme a su obra.
