1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,

Jehová habló a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:

2 ` This a statute of the law which Jehovah hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the sons of Israel, and they bring unto thee a red cow, a perfect one, in which there is no blemish, on which no yoke hath gone up;

Esta es la ordenanza de la ley que Jehová ha prescrito, diciendo: Di a los hijos de Israel que te traigan una vaca roja, perfecta, en la cual no haya falta, sobre la cual no se haya puesto yugo;

3 a nd ye have given it unto Eleazar the priest, and he hath brought it out unto the outside of the camp, and hath slaughtered it before him.

y la daréis a Eleazar el sacerdote, y él la sacará fuera del campamento, y la hará degollar en su presencia.

4 ` And Eleazar the priest hath taken of its blood with his finger, and hath sprinkled over-against the front of the tent of meeting of her blood seven times;

Y Eleazar el sacerdote tomará de la sangre con su dedo, y rociará hacia la parte delantera del tabernáculo de reunión con la sangre de ella siete veces;

5 a nd hath burnt the cow before his eyes; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, besides her dung, he doth burn;

y hará quemar la vaca ante sus ojos; su cuero y su carne y su sangre, con su estiércol, hará quemar.

6 a nd the priest hath taken cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and hath cast unto the midst of the burning of the cow;

Luego tomará el sacerdote madera de cedro, e hisopo, y púrpura, y lo echará en medio del fuego en que arde la vaca.

7 a nd the priest hath washed his garments, and hath bathed his flesh with water, and afterwards doth come in unto the camp, and the priest is unclean till the evening;

El sacerdote lavará luego sus vestidos, lavará también su cuerpo con agua, y después entrará en el campamento; y será inmundo el sacerdote hasta la noche.

8 a nd he who is burning it doth wash his garments with water, and hath bathed his flesh with water, and is unclean till the evening.

Asimismo el que la quemó lavará sus vestidos en agua, también lavará en agua su cuerpo, y será inmundo hasta la noche.

9 ` And a clean man hath gathered the ashes of the cow, and hath placed at the outside of the camp, in a clean place, and it hath become to the company of the sons of Israel a charge for waters of separation -- it a;

Y un hombre limpio recogerá las cenizas de la vaca y las pondrá fuera del campamento en lugar limpio, y las guardará la congregación de los hijos de Israel para el agua de purificación; es una expiación.

10 a nd he who is gathering the ashes of the heifer hath washed his garments, and is unclean till the evening; and it hath been to the sons of Israel, and to the sojourner who is sojourning in their midst, for a statute age-during.

Y el que recogió las cenizas de la vaca lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la noche; y será estatuto perpetuo para los hijos de Israel, y para el extranjero que mora entre ellos. Casos de impureza

11 ` He who is coming against the dead body of any man -- is unclean seven days;

El que toque cadáver de cualquier persona será inmundo siete días.

12 h e doth cleanse himself for it on the third day, and on the seventh day he is clean; and if he cleanse not himself on the third day, then on the seventh day he is not clean.

Al tercer día se purificará con aquella agua, y al séptimo día será limpio; y si al tercer día no se purifica, no será limpio al séptimo día.

13 A ny one who is coming against the dead, against the body of man who dieth, and cleanseth not himself -- the tabernacle of Jehovah he hath defiled, and that person hath been cut off from Israel, for water of separation is not sprinkled upon him; he is unclean; his uncleanness still upon him.

Todo aquel que toque cadáver de cualquier persona, y no se purifique, el tabernáculo de Jehová contaminó, y aquella persona será cortada de Israel; por cuanto el agua de la purificación no fue rociada sobre él, inmundo será, y su inmundicia será sobre él.

14 ` This the law, when a man dieth in a tent: every one who is coming in unto the tent, and all that in the tent, is unclean seven days;

Esta es la ley para cuando alguno muera en su tienda: cualquiera que entre en la tienda, y todo el que esté en ella, será inmundo siete días.

15 a nd every open vessel which hath no covering of thread upon it is unclean.

Y toda vasija abierta, cuya tapa no esté bien ajustada, será inmunda;

16 ` And every one who cometh, on the face of the field, against the pierced of a sword, or against the dead, or against a bone of man, or against a grave, is unclean seven days;

y cualquiera que toque algún muerto a espada sobre la faz del campo, o algún cadáver, o hueso humano, o sepulcro, siete días será inmundo. El ritual de las aguas purificadoras

17 a nd they have taken for the unclean person of the ashes of the burning of the, and he hath put upon it running water unto a vessel;

Y para el inmundo tomarán de la ceniza de la vaca quemada de la expiación, y echarán sobre ella agua viva en un recipiente;

18 a nd a clean person hath taken hyssop, and hath dipped in water, and hath sprinkled on the tent, and on all the vessels, and on the persons who have been there, and on him who is coming against a bone, or against one pierced, or against the dead, or against a grave.

y un hombre limpio tomará hisopo, y lo mojará en el agua, y rociará sobre la tienda, sobre todos los muebles, sobre las personas que allí estén, y sobre aquel que haya tocado el hueso, o el asesinado, o el muerto, o el sepulcro.

19 ` And the clean hath sprinkled on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day, and hath cleansed him on the seventh day, and he hath washed his garments, and hath bathed with water, and hath been clean in the evening.

Y el limpio rociará sobre el inmundo al tercero y al séptimo día; y cuando lo haya purificado al día séptimo, él lavará luego sus vestidos, y a sí mismo se lavará con agua, y será limpio a la noche.

20 ` And the man who is unclean, and doth not cleanse himself, even that person hath been cut off from the midst of the assembly; for the sanctuary of Jehovah he hath defiled; water of separation is not sprinkled upon him; he unclean.

Y el que quedó inmundo, y no se haya purificado, la tal persona será cortada de entre la congregación, por cuanto contaminó el tabernáculo de Jehová; no fue rociada sobre él el agua de la purificación; es inmundo.

21 ` And it hath been to them for a statute age-during, that he who is sprinkling the water of separation doth wash his garments, and he who is coming against the water of separation is unclean till the evening,

Les será estatuto perpetuo; también el que rocíe el agua de la purificación lavará sus vestidos; y el que toque el agua de la purificación será inmundo hasta la noche.

22 a nd all against which the unclean person cometh is unclean, and the person who is coming against is unclean till the evening.'

Y todo lo que el inmundo toque, será inmundo, y la persona que lo toque será inmunda hasta la noche.
