1 A nd at the completion of all this, gone out have all Israel who are found present to the cities of Judah, and break the standing-pillars, and cut down the shrines, and break down the high places and the altars, out of all Judah and Benjamin, and in Ephraim and Manasseh, even to completion, and all the sons of Israel turn back, each to his Possession, to their cities.

Hechas todas estas cosas, todos los de Israel que habían estado allí salieron por las ciudades de Judá, y quebraron las estatuas y destruyeron las imágenes de Aserá, y derribaron los lugares altos y los altares por todo Judá y Benjamín, y también en Efraín y Manasés, hasta acabarlo todo. Después se volvieron todos los hijos de Israel a sus ciudades, cada uno a su posesión. Ezequías reorganiza el servicio de los sacerdotes y levitas

2 A nd Hezekiah appointeth the courses of the priests, and of the Levites, by their courses, each according to his service, of the priests and of the Levites, for burnt-offering, and for peace-offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to give praise in the gates of the camps of Jehovah.

Y arregló Ezequías la distribución de los sacerdotes y de los levitas conforme a sus turnos, cada uno según su oficio; los sacerdotes y los levitas para ofrecer el holocausto y las ofrendas de paz, para que ministrasen, para que diesen gracias y alabasen dentro de las puertas de los atrios de Jehová.

3 A nd a portion of the king, from his substance, for burnt-offerings, for burnt-offerings of the morning, and of the evening, and the burnt-offerings of sabbaths, and of new moons, and of appointed seasons, as it is written in the law of Jehovah.

El rey contribuyó de su propia hacienda para los holocaustos de la mañana y de la tarde, y para los holocaustos de los sábados, nuevas lunas y fiestas solemnes, como está escrito en la ley de Jehová.

4 A nd he saith to the people, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to give the portion of the priests, and of the Levites, so that they are strengthened in the law of Jehovah;

Mandó también al pueblo que habitaba en Jerusalén, que diese la porción correspondiente a los sacerdotes y levitas, para que ellos se dedicasen a la ley de Jehová.

5 a nd at the spreading forth of the thing have the sons of Israel multiplied the first-fruit of corn, new wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field, and the tithe of the whole in abundance they have brought in.

Y cuando este edicto fue divulgado, los hijos de Israel dieron muchas primicias de grano, vino, aceite, miel, y de todos los frutos de la tierra; trajeron asimismo en abundancia los diezmos de todas las cosas.

6 A nd the sons of Israel and Judah, those dwelling in cities of Judah, they also a tithe of herd and flock, and a tithe of the holy things that are sanctified to Jehovah their God, have brought in, and they give -- heaps, heaps;

También los hijos de Israel y de Judá, que habitaban en las ciudades de Judá, dieron del mismo modo los diezmos de las vacas y de las ovejas; y trajeron los diezmos de lo santificado, de las cosas que habían prometido a Jehová su Dios, y los depositaron en montones.

7 i n the third month they have begun to lay the foundation of the heaps, and in the seventh month they have finished.

En el mes tercero comenzaron a formar aquellos montones, y terminaron en el mes séptimo.

8 A nd Hezekiah and the heads come in and see the heaps, and bless Jehovah and His people Israel,

Cuando Ezequías y los príncipes vinieron y vieron los montones, bendijeron a Jehová, y a su pueblo Israel.

9 a nd Hezekiah inquireth at the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps,

Y preguntó Ezequías a los sacerdotes y a los levitas acerca de esos montones.

10 a nd Azariah the head priest, of the house of Zadok, speaketh unto him, and saith, `From the beginning of the bringing of the heave-offering to the house of Jehovah, to eat, and to be satisfied, and to leave abundantly, for Jehovah hath blessed His people, and that left this store.'

Y el sumo sacerdote Azarías, de la casa de Sadoc, le contestó: Desde que comenzaron a traer las ofrendas a la casa de Jehová, hemos comido y nos hemos saciado, y nos ha sobrado mucho, porque Jehová ha bendecido a su pueblo; y ha quedado esta abundancia de provisiones.

11 A nd Hezekiah saith to prepare chambers in the house of Jehovah, and they prepare,

Entonces mandó Ezequías que preparasen cámaras en la casa de Jehová; y las prepararon.

12 a nd they bring in the heave-offering, and the tithe, and the holy things faithfully; and over them is a leader, Conaniah the Levite, and Shimei his brother second;

Y en ellas depositaron las primicias y los diezmos y las cosas consagradas, fielmente; y dieron cargo de ello al levita Conanías, el principal, y Simeí su hermano fue el segundo.

13 a nd Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, inspectors under the hand of Conaniah and Shimei his brother, by the appointment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah leader of the house of God.

Y Jehiel, Azazías, Nahat, Asael, Jerimot, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismaquías, Máhat y Benaía, fueron los mayordomos al servicio de Conanías y de Simeí su hermano, por mandamiento del rey Ezequías y de Azarías, príncipe de la casa de Dios.

14 A nd Kore son of Imnah the Levite, the gatekeeper at the east, over the willing-offerings of God, to give the heave-offering of Jehovah, and the most holy things.

Y el levita Coré hijo de Imná, guarda de la puerta oriental, tenía cargo de las ofrendas voluntarias para Dios, y de la distribución de las ofrendas dedicadas a Jehová, y de las cosas santísimas.

15 A nd by his hand Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shechaniah, in cities of the priests, faithfully to give to their brethren in courses, as the great so the small,

Y a su servicio estaban Eden, Minyamín, Jesúa, Semaías, Amarías y Secanías, en las ciudades de los sacerdotes, para dar con fidelidad a sus hermanos sus porciones conforme a sus grupos, así al mayor como al menor;

16 a part from their genealogy, to males from a son of three years and upward, to every one who hath gone in to the house of Jehovah, by the matter of a day in its day, for their service in their charges, according to their courses;

a los varones anotados por sus linajes, de tres años arriba, a todos los que entraban en la casa de Jehová para desempeñar su ministerio según sus oficios y grupos.

17 a nd the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and of the Levites, from a son of twenty years and upward, in their charges, in their courses;

También a los que eran contados entre los sacerdotes según sus casas paternas; y a los levitas de edad de veinte años arriba, conforme a sus oficios y grupos.

18 a nd to the genealogy among all their infants, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters to all the congregation, for in their faithfulness they sanctify themselves in holiness.

Eran inscritos con todos sus niños, sus mujeres, sus hijos e hijas, toda la multitud; porque con fidelidad se consagraban a las cosas santas.

19 A nd to sons of Aaron, the priests, in the fields of the suburb of their cities, in every city and city, men who have been defined by name, to give portions to every male among the priests, and to every one who reckoned himself by genealogy among the Levites.

Del mismo modo para los hijos de Aarón, sacerdotes, que estaban en los ejidos de sus ciudades, había en cada ciudad varones nombrados que tenían cargo de dar sus porciones a todos los varones de entre los sacerdotes, y a todo el linaje de los levitas.

20 A nd Hezekiah doth thus in all Judah, and doth that which is good, and that which is right, and that which is true, before Jehovah his God;

De esta manera hizo Ezequías en todo Judá; y ejecutó lo bueno, recto y verdadero delante de Jehová su Dios.

21 a nd in every work that he hath begun for the service of the house of God, and for the law, and for the command, to seek to his God, with all his heart he hath wrought and prospered.

En todo cuanto emprendió en el servicio de la casa de Dios, de acuerdo con la ley y los mandamientos, buscó a su Dios, lo hizo de todo corazón, y fue prosperado.
