1 A nd Jehovah saith unto me: `Again, go, love a woman, loved of a friend, and an adulteress, like the loved of Jehovah, the sons of Israel, and they are turning unto other gods, and are lovers of grape-cakes.'

Me dijo otra vez Jehová: Ve, ama a una mujer amada de su compañero, y, con todo, adúltera, como el amor de Jehová para con los hijos de Israel, mientras ellos se vuelven a dioses ajenos, y se deleitan en tortas de pasas.

2 A nd I buy her to me for fifteen silverlings, and a homer and a letech of barley;

La compré entonces para mí por quince siclos de plata y un homer y medio de cebada.

3 a nd I say unto her, `Many days thou dost remain for Me, thou dost not go a-whoring, nor become any one's; and I also for thee.'

Y le dije: Tú me permanecerás aquí durante muchos días; no fornicarás, ni tomarás otro varón; lo mismo haré yo contigo.

4 F or many days remain do the sons of Israel without a king, and there is no prince, and there is no sacrifice, and there is no standing pillar, and there is no ephod and teraphim.

Porque durante muchos días estarán los hijos de Israel sin rey, sin príncipe, sin sacrificio, sin estela, sin efod y sin terafines.

5 A fterwards turned back have the sons of Israel, and sought Jehovah their God, and David their king, and have hastened unto Jehovah, and unto His goodness, in the latter end of the days.

Después volverán los hijos de Israel, y buscarán a Jehová su Dios, y a David su rey; y acudirán con temor a Jehová y a su bondad en el fin de los días.
