1 A nd Jehovah saith unto me: `Again, go, love a woman, loved of a friend, and an adulteress, like the loved of Jehovah, the sons of Israel, and they are turning unto other gods, and are lovers of grape-cakes.'

Y el Señor me dijo: Ve otra vez, ama a una mujer amada por otro y adúltera, así como el Señor ama a los hijos de Israel a pesar de que ellos se vuelven a otros dioses y se deleitan con tortas de pasas.

2 A nd I buy her to me for fifteen silverlings, and a homer and a letech of barley;

La compré, pues, para mí por quince siclos de plata y un homer y medio de cebada.

3 a nd I say unto her, `Many days thou dost remain for Me, thou dost not go a-whoring, nor become any one's; and I also for thee.'

Y le dije: Te quedarás conmigo por muchos días. No te prostituirás, ni serás de otro hombre, y yo también seré para ti.

4 F or many days remain do the sons of Israel without a king, and there is no prince, and there is no sacrifice, and there is no standing pillar, and there is no ephod and teraphim.

Porque por muchos días los hijos de Israel quedarán sin rey y sin príncipe, sin sacrificio y sin pilar sagrado, y sin efod y sin ídolos domésticos.

5 A fterwards turned back have the sons of Israel, and sought Jehovah their God, and David their king, and have hastened unto Jehovah, and unto His goodness, in the latter end of the days.

Después los hijos de Israel volverán y buscarán al Señor su Dios y a David su rey; y acudirán temblorosos al Señor y a su bondad en los últimos días.
