Tienen veneno como veneno de serpiente; son como una cobra sorda que cierra su oído,

que no oye la voz de los que encantan, ni siquiera al más diestro encantador.

6 O God, break their teeth in their mouth, The jaw-teeth of young lions break down, O Jehovah.

Oh Dios, rompe los dientes de su boca; quiebra las muelas de los leoncillos, Señor.

7 T hey are melted as waters, They go up and down for themselves, His arrow proceedeth as they cut themselves off.

Que se diluyan como las aguas que corren; cuando disparen sus saetas, que sean como si estuvieran sin punta.

8 A s a snail that melteth he goeth on, an untimely birth of a woman, They have not seen the sun.

Que sean como el caracol, que se deslíe según se arrastra, como los que nacen muertos, que nunca ven el sol.

9 B efore your pots discern the bramble, As well the raw as the heated He whirleth away.

Antes que vuestras ollas puedan sentir el fuego de los espinos, tanto los verdes como los que arden, los barrerá El con torbellino.

10 T he righteous rejoiceth that he hath seen vengeance, His steps he washeth in the blood of the wicked.

El justo se alegrará cuando vea la venganza, se lavará los pies en la sangre de los impíos;

11 A nd man saith: `Surely fruit for the righteous: Surely there is a God judging in the earth!'

y los hombres dirán: Ciertamente hay recompensa para el justo, ciertamente hay un Dios que juzga en la tierra.
