1 A nd in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, at the completion of the word of Jehovah from the mouth of Jeremiah, hath Jehovah waked up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, and he causeth an intimation to pass over into all his kingdom, and also in writing, saying,

En el primer año de Ciro, rey de Persia, para que se cumpliese la palabra de Jehová por boca de Jeremías, movió Jehová el espíritu de Ciro, rey de Persia, el cual hizo pregonar de palabra y también por escrito por todo su reino, diciendo:

2 ` Thus said Cyrus king of Persia, All kingdoms of the earth hath Jehovah, God of the heavens, given to me, and He hath laid a charge on me to build to Him a house in Jerusalem, that in Judah;

Así ha dicho Ciro, rey de Persia: Jehová el Dios de los cielos me ha dado todos los reinos de la tierra, y me ha mandado que le edifique casa en Jerusalén, que está en Judá.

3 w ho among you of all His people? His God is with him, and he doth go up to Jerusalem, that in Judah, and build the house of Jehovah, God of Israel -- He God -- that in Jerusalem.

Quien de entre vosotros pertenezca a su pueblo, sea Dios con él, y suba a Jerusalén que está en Judá, y edifique la casa a Jehová, Dios de Israel, el Dios que habita en Jerusalén.

4 ` And every one who is left, of any of the places where he a sojourner, assist him do the men of his place with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, along with a free-will offering for the house of God, that in Jerusalem.'

Y a todo el que haya quedado, en cualquier lugar donde more, ayúdenle los hombres de su lugar con plata, oro, bienes y ganados, además de ofrendas voluntarias para la casa de Dios, la cual está en Jerusalén. El regreso a Jerusalén

5 A nd heads of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin rise, and the priests and the Levites, even every one whose spirit God hath waked, to go up to build the house of Jehovah, that in Jerusalem;

Entonces se levantaron los jefes de las casas paternas de Judá y de Benjamín, y los sacerdotes y levitas, todos aquellos cuyo espíritu despertó Dios para subir a edificar la casa de Jehová, que está en Jerusalén.

6 a nd all those round about them have strengthened with their hands, with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, apart from all that hath been offered willingly.

Y todos sus vecinos les ayudaron con plata y oro, con bienes y ganado, y con cosas preciosas, además de todo lo que se ofreció voluntariamente.

7 A nd the king Cyrus hath brought out the vessels of the house of Jehovah that Nebuchadnezzar hath brought out of Jerusalem, and putteth them in the house of his gods;

Y el rey Ciro mandó sacar los utensilios de la casa de Jehová, que Nabucodonosor había sacado de Jerusalén, y los había puesto en la casa de sus dioses.

8 y ea, Cyrus king of Persia bringeth them out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbereth them to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.

Los sacó, pues, Ciro, rey de Persia, por mano de Mitrídates tesorero, el cual los dio por cuenta a Sesbasar príncipe de Judá.

9 A nd this their number: dishes of gold thirty, dishes of silver a thousand, knives nine and twenty,

Y esta es la cuenta de ellos: treinta tazones de oro, mil tazones de plata, veintinueve cuchillos,

10 b asins of gold thirty, basins of silver (seconds) four hundred and ten, other vessels a thousand.

treinta tazas de oro, otras cuatrocientas diez tazas de plata, y otros mil utensilios.

11 A ll the vessels of gold and of silver five thousand and four hundred; the whole hath Sheshbazzar brought up with the going up of the removal from Babylon to Jerusalem.

Todos los utensilios de oro y de plata eran cinco mil cuatrocientos. Todos los hizo llevar Sesbasar con los que subieron del cautiverio de Babilonia a Jerusalén.
