1 A nd he causeth me to go to the gate, the gate that is looking eastward.

Então me levou ã porta, ã porta que dá para o oriente.

2 A nd lo, the honour of the God of Israel hath come from the way of the east, and His voice as the noise of many waters, and the earth hath shone from His honour.

E eis que a glória do Deus de Israel vinha do caminho do oriente; e a sua voz era como a voz de muitas águas, e a terra resplandecia com a glória dele.

3 A nd according to the appearance the appearance that I saw, as the appearance that I saw in my coming in to destroy the city, and the appearances as the appearance that I saw at the river Chebar, and I fall on my face.

E a aparência da visão que tive era como a da visão que eu tivera quando ele veio destruir a cidade; eram as visões como a que tive junto ao rio Quebar; e caí com o rosto em terra.

4 A nd the honour of Jehovah hath come in unto the house, the way of the gate whose face eastward.

E a glória do Senhor entrou no templo pelo caminho da porta oriental.

5 A nd take me up doth the Spirit, and bringeth me in unto the inner court, and lo, the honour of Jehovah hath filled the house.

E levantou-me o Espírito, e me levou ao átrio interior; e eis que a glória do Senhor encheu o templo.

6 A nd I hear one speaking unto me from the house, and a man hath been standing near me,

Então ouvi uma voz que me foi direita de dentro do templo; e um homem se achava de pé junto de mim.

7 a nd He saith unto me: `Son of man, the place of My throne, And the place of the soles of My feet, Where I dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel to the age, Defile no more do the house of Israel My holy name, They, and their kings, by their whoredom, And by the carcases of their kings -- their high places.

E disse-me: Filho do homem, este é o lugar do meu trono, e o lugar das plantas dos meus pés, onde habitarei no meio dos filhos de Israel para sempre; e os da casa de Israel não contaminarão mais o meu nome santo, nem eles nem os seus reis, com as suas prostituições e com os cadáveres dos seus reis, nos seus altos,

8 I n their putting their threshold with My threshold, And their door-post near My door-post, And the wall between Me and them, And they have defiled My holy name, By their abominations that they have done, And I consume them in Mine anger.

pondo o seu limiar ao pé do meu limiar, e os seus umbrais junto aos meus umbrais, e havendo apenas um muro entre mim e eles. Contaminaram o meu santo nome com as abominações que têm cometido; por isso eu os consumi na minha ira.

9 N ow do they put far off their whoredom, And the carcases of their kings -- from Me, And I have dwelt in their midst to the age.

Agora lancem eles para longe de mim a sua prostituição e os cadáveres dos seus reis; e habitarei no meio deles para sempre.

10 T hou, son of man, Shew the house of Israel the house, And they are ashamed of their iniquities, And they have measured the measurement.

Tu pois, ó filho do homem, mostra aos da casa de Israel o templo, para que se envergonhem das suas iniqüidades; e meçam o modelo.

11 A nd since they have been ashamed of all that they have done, The form of the house, and its measurement, And its outlets, and its inlets, and all its forms, And all its statutes, even all its forms, And all its laws cause them to know, And write before their eyes, And they observe all its forms, And all its statutes, and have done them.

E se eles se envergonharem de tudo quanto têm feito, faze- lhes saber a forma desta casa, a sua figura, as suas saídas e as suas entradas, e todas as suas formas; todas as suas ordenanças e todas as suas leis; escreve isto ã vista deles, para que guardem toda a sua forma, e todas as suas ordenanças e as cumpram.

12 T his a law of the house: on the top of the mountain, all its border all round about most holy; lo, this a law of the house.

Esta é a lei do templo: Sobre o cume do monte todo o seu contorno em redor será santíssimo. Eis que essa é a lei do templo.

13 ` And these measures of the altar by cubits: The cubit a cubit and a handbreadth, and the centre a cubit, and a cubit the breadth; and its border on its edge round about one span, and this the upper part of the altar.

São estas as medidas do altar em côvados (o côvado é um côvado e um palmo): a parte inferior será de um côvado de altura e um côvado de largura, e a sua borda, junto a sua extremidade ao redor, de um palmo; e esta será a base do altar.

14 A nd from the centre of the ground unto the lower border two cubits, and the breadth one cubit, and from the lesser border unto the greater border four cubits, and the breadth a cubit.

E do fundo, desde o chão até a saliência de baixo, será de dois côvados, e de largura um côvado; e desde a pequena saliência até a saliência grande será de quatro côvados, e a largura de um côvado.

15 ` And the altar four cubits, and from the altar and upward four horns.

E o altar superior será de quatro côvados; e da lareira do altar para cima se levantarão quatro pontas.

16 A nd the altar twelve long by twelve broad, square in its four squares.

E a lareira do altar terá doze côvados de comprimento, e doze de largura, quadrado nos quatro lados.

17 A nd the border fourteen long by fourteen broad, at its four squares, and the border round about it half a cubit, and the centre to it a cubit round about, and its steps are looking eastward.'

E a saliência terá catorze côvados de comprimento e catorze de largura, nos seus quatro lados; e a borda, ao redor dela, será de meio côvado; e o fundo dela será de um côvado, ao redor; e os seus degraus darão para o oriente.

18 A nd He saith unto me, `Son of man, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: These statutes of the altar in the day of its being made to cause burnt-offering to go up on it, and to sprinkle on it blood.

E disse-me: Filho do homem, assim diz o Senhor Deus: São estas as ordenanças para o altar, no dia em que o fizerem, para oferecerem sobre ele holocausto e para espargirem sobre ele sangue.

19 A nd thou hast given unto the priests, the Levites, who of the seed of Zadok -- who are near unto Me, an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, to serve Me -- a calf from the herd, for a sin-offering.

Aos sacerdotes levitas que são da linhagem de Zadoque, os quais se chegam a mim para me servirem, diz o Senhor Deus, darás um bezerro para oferta pelo pecado.

20 A nd thou hast taken of its blood, and hast put it on its four horns, and on the four corners of its border, and on the border round about, and hast cleansed it, and purified it.

E tomarás do seu sangue, e o porás sobre as quatro pontas do altar, sobre os quatro cantos da saliência e sobre a borda ao redor; assim o purificarás e os expiarás.

21 A nd thou hast taken the bullock of the sin-offering, and hast burnt it in the appointed place of the house at the outside of the sanctuary.

Então tomarás o novilho da oferta pelo pecado, o qual será queimado no lugar da casa para isso ordenado, fora do santuário.

22 A nd on the second day thou dost bring near a kid of the goats, a perfect one, for a sin-offering, and they have cleansed the altar, as they cleansed for the bullock.

E no segundo dia oferecerás um bode, sem mancha, para oferta pelo pecado; e purificarão o altar, como o purificaram com o novilho.

23 I n thy finishing cleansing, thou dost bring near a calf, a son of the herd, a perfect one, and a ram out of the flock, a perfect one.

Quando acabares de o purificar, oferecerás um bezerro, sem mancha, e um carneiro do rebanho, sem mancha.

24 A nd thou hast brought them near before Jehovah, and the priests have cast upon them salt, and have caused them to go up, a burnt-offering to Jehovah.

Trá-los-ás, pois, perante o Senhor; e os sacerdotes deitarão sal sobre eles, e os oferecerão em holocausto ao Senhor.

25 S even days thou dost prepare a goat for a sin-offering daily, and a bullock, a son of the herd, and a ram out of the flock, perfect ones, do they prepare.

Durante sete dias prepararás cada dia um bode como oferta pelo pecado; também prepararão eles um bezerro, e um carneiro do rebanho, sem mancha.

26 S even days they purify the altar, and have cleansed it, and filled their hand.

Por sete dias expiarão o altar, e o purificarão; assim o consagrarão.

27 A nd the days are completed, and it hath come to pass on the eighth day, and henceforth, the priests prepare on the altar your burnt-offerings and your peace-offerings, and I have accepted you -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

E, cumprindo eles estes dias, será que, ao oitavo dia, e dali em diante, os sacerdotes oferecerão sobre o altar os vossos holocaustos e as vossas ofertas pacíficas; e vos aceitarei, diz o Senhor Deus.
