1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying unto them,

Falou o Senhor a Moisés e a Arão, dizendo-lhes:

2 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, This the beast which ye do eat out of all the beasts which on the earth:

Dizei aos filhos de Israel: Estes são os animais que podereis comer dentre todos os animais que há sobre a terra:

3 a ny dividing a hoof, and cleaving the cleft of the hoofs, bringing up the cud, among the beasts, it ye do eat.

dentre os animais, todo o que tem a unha fendida, de sorte que se divide em duas, o que rumina, esse podereis comer.

4 ` Only, this ye do not eat -- of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the hoof -- the camel, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof not dividing -- it unclean to you;

Os seguintes, contudo, não comereis, dentre os que ruminam e dentre os que têm a unha fendida: o camelo, porque rumina mas não tem a unha fendida, esse vos será imundo;

5 a nd the rabbit, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof it divideth not -- unclean it to you;

o querogrilo, porque rumina mas não tem a unha fendida, esse vos será imundo;

6 a nd the hare, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof hath not divided -- unclean it to you;

a lebre, porque rumina mas não tem a unha fendida, essa vos será imunda;

7 a nd the sow, though it is dividing the hoof, and cleaving the cleft of the hoof, yet the cud it bringeth not up -- unclean it to you.

e o porco, porque tem a unha fendida, de sorte que se divide em duas, mas não rumina, esse vos será imundo.

8 ` Of their flesh ye do not eat, and against their carcase ye do not come -- unclean they to you.

Da sua carne não comereis, nem tocareis nos seus cadáveres; esses vos serão imundos.

9 ` This ye do eat of all which in the waters; any one that hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the brooks, them ye do eat;

Estes são os que podereis comer de todos os que há nas águas: todo o que tem barbatanas e escamas, nas águas, nos mares e nos rios, esse podereis comer.

10 a nd any one that hath not fins and scales in the seas, and in the brooks, of any teeming creature of the waters, and of any creature which liveth, which in the waters -- an abomination they to you;

Mas todo o que não tem barbatanas, nem escamas, nos mares e nos rios, todo réptil das águas, e todos os animais que vivem nas águas, estes vos serão abomináveis,

11 y ea, an abomination they are to you; of their flesh ye do not eat, and their carcase ye abominate.

tê-los-eis em abominação; da sua carne não comereis, e abominareis os seus cadáveres.

12 ` Any one that hath not fins and scales in the waters -- an abomination it to you.

Tudo o que não tem barbatanas nem escamas, nas águas, será para vós abominável.

13 ` And these ye do abominate of the fowl; they are not eaten, an abomination they: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

Dentre as aves, a estas abominareis; não se comerão, serão abominãveis: a águia, o quebrantosso, o xofrango,

14 a nd the vulture, and the kite after its kind,

o açor, o falcão segundo a sua espécie,

15 e very raven after its kind,

todo corvo segundo a sua espécie,

16 a nd the owl, and the night-hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after its kind,

o avestruz, o mocho, a gaivota, o gavião segundo a sua espécie,

17 a nd the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,

o bufo, o corvo marinho, a coruja,

18 a nd the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,

o porfirião, o pelicano, o abutre,

19 a nd the stork, the heron after its kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

a cegonha, a garça segundo a sua, espécie, a poupa e o morcego.

20 ` Every teeming creature which is flying, which is going on four -- an abomination it to you.

Todos os insetos alados que andam sobre quatro pés, serão para vós uma abominação.

21 ` Only -- this ye do eat of any teeming thing which is flying, which is going on four, which hath legs above its feet, to move with them on the earth;

Contudo, estes há que podereis comer de todos os insetos alados que andam sobre quatro pés: os que têm pernas sobre os seus pés, para saltar com elas sobre a terra;

22 t hese of them ye do eat: the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the beetle after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind;

isto é, deles podereis comer os seguintes: o gafanhoto segundo a sua espécie, o solham segundo a sua espécie, o hargol segundo a sua espécie e o hagabe segundo a sua especie.

23 a nd every teeming thing which is flying, which hath four feet -- an abomination it to you.

Mas todos os outros insetos alados que têm quatro pés, serão para vós uma abominação.

24 ` And by these ye are made unclean, any one who is coming against their carcase is unclean till the evening;

Também por eles vos tornareis imundos; qualquer que tocar nos seus cadáveres, será imundo até a tarde,

25 a nd anyone who is lifting up of their carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean till the evening: --

e quem levar qualquer parte dos seus cadáveres, lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até a tarde.

26 e ven every beast which is dividing the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, and the cud is not bringing up -- unclean they to you; any one who is coming against them is unclean.

Todo animal que tem unhas fendidas, mas cuja fenda não as divide em duas, e que não rumina, será para vós imundo; qualquer que tocar neles será imundo.

27 ` And any one going on its paws, among all the beasts which are going on four -- unclean they to you; any one who is coming against their carcase is unclean until the evening;

Todos os plantígrados dentre os quadrúpedes, esses vos serão imundos; qualquer que tocar nos seus cadáveres sera imundo até a tarde,

28 a nd he who is lifting up their carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean until the evening -- unclean they to you.

e o que levar os seus cadáveres lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até a tarde; eles serão para vós imundos.

29 ` And this to you the unclean among the teeming things which are teeming on the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after its kind,

Estes também vos serão por imundos entre os animais que se arrastam sobre a terra: a doninha, o rato, o crocodilo da terra segundo a sua espécie,

30 a nd the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole;

o musaranho, o crocodilo da água, a lagartixa, o lagarto e a toupeira.

31 t hese the unclean to you among all which are teeming; any one who is coming against them in their death is unclean till the evening.

Esses vos serão imundos dentre todos os animais rasteiros; qualquer que os tocar, depois de mortos, será imundo até a tarde;

32 ` And anything on which any one of them falleth, in their death, is unclean, of any vessel of wood or garment or skin or sack, any vessel in which work is done is brought into water, and hath been unclean till the evening, then it hath been clean;

e tudo aquilo sobre o que cair o cadáver de qualquer deles será imundo; seja vaso de madeira, ou vestidura, ou pele, ou saco, seja qualquer instrumento com que se faz alguma obra, será metido na água, e será imundo até a tarde; então será limpo.

33 a nd any earthen vessel, into the midst of which one of them falleth, all that in its midst is unclean, and it ye do break.

E quanto a todo vaso de barro dentro do qual cair algum deles, tudo o que houver nele será imundo, e o vaso quebrareis.

34 ` Of all the food which is eaten, that on which cometh water, is unclean, and all drink which is drunk in any vessel is unclean;

Todo alimento depositado nele, que se pode comer, sobre o qual vier água, será imundo; e toda bebida que se pode beber, sendo depositada em qualquer destes vasos será imunda.

35 a nd anything on which of their carcase falleth is unclean (oven or double pots), it is broken down, unclean they, yea, unclean they are to you.

E tudo aquilo sobre o que cair: alguma parte dos cadáveres deles será imundo; seja forno, seja fogão, será quebrado; imundos são, portanto para vós serão imundos.

36 ` Only -- a fountain or pit, a collection of water, is clean, but that which is coming against their carcase is unclean;

Contudo, uma fonte ou cisterna, em que há depósito de água, será limpa; mas quem tocar no cadáver será imundo.

37 a nd when of their carcase falleth on any sown seed which is sown -- it clean;

E, se dos seus cadáveres cair alguma coisa sobre alguma semente que se houver de semear, esta será limpa;

38 a nd when water is put on the seed, and of its carcase hath fallen on it -- unclean it to you.

mas se for deitada água sobre a semente, e se dos cadáveres cair alguma coisa sobre ela, então ela será para vós imunda.

39 ` And when any of the beasts which are to you for food dieth, he who is coming against its carcase is unclean till the evening;

E se morrer algum dos animais de que vos é lícito comer, quem tocar no seu cadáver sera imundo até a tarde;

40 a nd he who is eating of its carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean till the evening; and he who is lifting up its carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean till the evening.

e quem comer do cadáver dele lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até a tarde; igualmente quem levar o cadáver dele lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até a tarde.

41 ` And every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth is an abomination, it is not eaten;

Também todo animal rasteiro que se move sobre a terra será abominação; não se comerá.

42 a ny thing going on the belly, and any going on four, unto every multiplier of feet, to every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth -- ye do not eat them, for they an abomination;

Tudo o que anda sobre o ventre, tudo o que anda sobre quatro pés, e tudo o que tem muitos pés, enfim todos os animais rasteiros que se movem sobre a terra, desses não comereis, porquanto são abomináveis.

43 y e do not make yourselves abominable with any teeming thing which is teeming, nor do ye make yourselves unclean with them, so that ye have been unclean thereby.

Não vos tomareis abomináveis por nenhum animal rasteiro, nem neles vos contaminareis, para não vos tornardes imundos por eles.

44 ` For I Jehovah your God, and ye have sanctified yourselves, and ye have been holy, for I holy; and ye do not defile your persons with any teeming thing which is creeping on the earth;

Porque eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus; portanto santificai-vos, e sede santos, porque eu sou santo; e não vos contaminareis com nenhum animal rasteiro que se move sobre a terra;

45 f or I Jehovah who am bringing you up out of the land of Egypt to become your God; and ye have been holy, for I holy.

porque eu sou o Senhor, que vos fiz subir da terra do Egito, para ser o vosso Deus, sereis pois santos, porque eu sou santo.

46 ` This a law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature which is moving in the waters, and of every creature which is teeming on the earth,

Esta é a lei sobre os animais e as aves, e sobre toda criatura vivente que se move nas águas e toda criatura que se arrasta sobre a terra;

47 t o make separation between the unclean and the pure, and between the beast that is eaten, and the beast that is not eaten.'

para fazer separação entre o imundo e o limpo, e entre os animais que se podem comer e os animais que não se podem comer.
