1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Disse mais o Senhor a Moisés:

2 ` Command the sons of Israel, and they bring unto thee pure olive oil, beaten, for the lamp, to cause a light to go up continually;

Ordena aos filhos de Israel que te tragam, para o candeeiro, azeite de oliveira, puro, batido, a fim de manter uma lâmpada acesa continuamente.

3 a t the outside of the vail of the testimony in the tent of meeting doth Aaron arrange it from evening till morning before Jehovah continually -- a statute age-during to your generations;

Arão a conservará em ordem perante o Senhor, continuamente, desde a tarde até a manhã, fora do véu do testemunho, na tenda da revelação; será estatuto perpétuo pelas vossas gerações.

4 b y the pure candlestick he doth arrange the lights before Jehovah continually.

Sobre o candelabro de ouro puro conservará em ordem as lâmpadas perante o Senhor continuamente.

5 ` And thou hast taken flour, and hast baked twelve cakes with it, two tenth deals are in the one cake,

Também tomarás flor de farinha, e dela cozerás doze pães; cada pão será de dois décimos de efa.

6 a nd thou hast set them two ranks (six in the rank) on the pure table before Jehovah,

E pô-los-ás perante o Senhor, em duas fileiras, seis em cada fileira, sobre a mesa de ouro puro.

7 a nd thou hast put on the rank pure frankincense, and it hath been to the bread for a memorial, a fire-offering to Jehovah.

Sobre cada fileira porás incenso puro, para que seja sobre os pães como memorial, isto é, como oferta queimada ao Senhor;

8 ` On each sabbath-day he arrangeth it before Jehovah continually, from the sons of Israel -- a covenant age-during;

em cada dia de sábado, isso se porá em ordem perante o Senhor continuamente; e, a favor dos filhos de Israel, um pacto perpétuo.

9 a nd it hath been to Aaron, and to his sons, and they have eaten it in the holy place, for it most holy to him, from the fire-offerings of Jehovah -- a statute age-during.'

Pertencerão os pães a Arão e a seus filhos, que os comerão em lugar santo, por serem coisa santíssima para eles, das ofertas queimadas ao Senhor por estatuto perpétuo.

10 A nd a son of an Israelitish woman goeth out (and he son of an Egyptian man), in the midst of the sons of Israel, and strive in the camp do the son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel,

Naquele tempo apareceu no meio dos filhos de Israel o filho duma mulher israelita, o qual era filho dum egípcio; e o filho da israelita e um homem israelita pelejaram no arraial;

11 a nd the son of the Israelitish woman execrateth the Name, and revileth; and they bring him in unto Moses; and his mother's name Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;

e o filho da mulher israelita blasfemou o Nome, e praguejou; pelo que o trouxeram a Moisés. Ora, o nome de sua mãe era Selomite, filha de Dibri, da tribo de Dã.

12 a nd he causeth him to rest in charge -- to explain to them by the mouth of Jehovah.

Puseram-no, pois, em detenção, até que se lhes fizesse declaração pela boca do Senhor.

13 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Então disse o Senhor a Moisés:

14 ` Bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp; and all those hearing have laid their hands on his head, and all the company have stoned him.

Tira para fora do arraial o que tem blasfemado; todos os que o ouviram porão as mãos sobre a cabeça dele, e toda a congregação o apedrejará.

15 ` And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, When any man revileth his God -- then he hath borne his sin;

E dirás aos filhos de Israel: Todo homem que amaldiçoar o seu Deus, levará sobre si o seu pecado.

16 a nd he who is execrating the name of Jehovah is certainly put to death; all the company do certainly cast stones at him; as a sojourner so a native, in his execrating the Name, is put to death.

E aquele que blasfemar o nome do Senhor, certamente será morto; toda a congregação certamente o apedrejará. Tanto o estrangeiro como o natural, que blasfemar o nome do Senhor, será morto.

17 ` And when a man smiteth any soul of man, he is certainly put to death.

Quem matar a alguém, certamente será morto;

18 ` And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, body for body.

e quem matar um animal, fará restituição por ele, vida por vida.

19 ` And when a man putteth a blemish in his fellow, as he hath done so it is done to him;

Se alguém desfigurar o seu próximo, como ele fez, assim lhe será feito:

20 b reach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he putteth a blemish in a man so it is done in him.

quebradura por quebradura, olho por olho, dente por dente; como ele tiver desfigurado algum homem, assim lhe será feito.

21 ` And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, and he who smiteth man is put to death;

Quem, pois, matar um animal, fará restituição por ele; mas quem matar um homem, será morto.

22 o ne judgment is to you; as a sojourner so is a native; for I Jehovah your God.'

uma mesma lei tereis, tanto para o estrangeiro como para o natural; pois eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

23 A nd Moses speaketh unto the sons of Israel, and they bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp, and stone him with stones; and the sons of Israel have done as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

Então falou Moisés aos filhos de Israel. Depois eles levaram para fora do arraial aquele que tinha blasfemado e o apedrejaram. Fizeram, pois, os filhos de Israel como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
