1 A nd he causeth me to turn back unto the opening of the house; and lo, water is coming forth from under the threshold of the house eastward, for the front of the house eastward, and the water is coming down from beneath, from the right side of the house, from the south of the altar.

Depois disso me fez voltar ã entrada do templo; e eis que saíam umas águas por debaixo do limiar do templo, para o oriente; pois a frente do templo dava para o oriente; e as águas desciam pelo lado meridional do templo ao sul do altar.

2 A nd he causeth me to go out the way of the gate northward, and causeth me to turn round the way without, unto the gate that without, the way that is looking eastward, and lo, water is coming forth from the right side.

Então me levou para fora pelo caminho da porta do norte, e me fez dar uma volta pelo caminho de fora até a porta exterior, pelo caminho da porta oriental; e eis que corriam umas águas pelo lado meridional.

3 I n the going out of the man eastward, and a line in his hand, then he measureth a thousand by the cubit, and he causeth me to pass over into water -- water to the ankles.

Saindo o homem para o oriente, tendo na mão um cordel de medir, mediu mil côvados, e me fez passar pelas águas, águas que me davam pelos artelhos.

4 A nd he measureth a thousand, and causeth me to pass over into water -- water to the knees. And he measureth a thousand, and causeth me to pass over -- water to the loins.

De novo mediu mil, e me fez passar pelas águas, águas que me davam pelos joelhos; outra vez mediu mil, e me fez passar pelas águas, águas que me davam pelos lombos.

5 A nd he measureth a thousand -- a stream that I am not able to pass over; for risen have the waters -- waters to swim in -- a stream that is not passed over.

Ainda mediu mais mil, e era um rio, que eu não podia atravessar; pois as águas tinham crescido, águas para nelas nadar, um rio pelo qual não se podia passar a vau.

6 A nd he saith unto me, `Hast thou seen, son of man?' and he leadeth me, and bringeth me back unto the edge of the stream.

E me perguntou: Viste, filho do homem? Então me levou, e me fez voltar ã margem do rio.

7 I n my turning back, then, lo, at the edge of the stream very many trees, on this side and on that side.

Tendo eu voltado, eis que ã margem do rio havia árvores em grande número, de uma e de outra banda.

8 A nd he saith unto me, `These waters are going forth unto the east circuit, and have gone down unto the desert, and have entered the sea; unto the sea they are brought forth, and the waters have been healed.

Então me disse: Estas águas saem para a região oriental e, descendo pela Arabá, entrarão no Mar Morto, e ao entrarem nas águas salgadas, estas se tornarão saudáveis.

9 A nd it hath come to pass, every living creature that teemeth, whithersoever the streams come, doth live: and there hath been great abundance of fish, for these waters have come thither, and they are healed; and every thing whither the stream cometh hath lived.

E por onde quer que entrar o rio viverá todo ser vivente que vive em enxames, e haverá muitíssimo peixe; porque lá chegarão estas águas, para que as águas do mar se tornem doces, e viverá tudo por onde quer que entrar este rio.

10 A nd it hath come to pass, fishers do stand by it, from En-Gedi even unto En-Eglaim; a spreading place of nets they are; according to their own kind is their fish, as the fish of the great sea, very many.

Os pescadores estarão junto dele; desde En-Gedi até En-Eglaim, haverá lugar para estender as redes; o seu peixe será, segundo a sua espécie, como o peixe do Mar Grande, em multidão excessiva.

11 I ts miry and its marshy places -- they are not healed; to salt they have been given up.

Mas os seus charcos e os seus pântanos não sararão; serão deixados para sal.

12 A nd by the stream there cometh up on its edge, on this side and on that side, every fruit-tree whose leaf fadeth not, and not consumed is its fruit, according to its months it yieldeth first-fruits, because its waters from the sanctuary are coming forth; and its fruits hath been for food, and its leaf for medicine.

E junto do rio, ã sua margem, de uma e de outra banda, nascerá toda sorte de árvore que dá fruto para se comer. Não murchará a sua folha, nem faltará o seu fruto. Nos seus meses produzirá novos frutos, porque as suas águas saem do santuário. O seu fruto servirá de alimento e a sua folha de remédio.

13 ` Thus said the Lord Jehovah: This the border whereby ye inherit the land, according to the twelve tribes of Israel; Joseph portions.

Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Este será o termo conforme o qual repartireis a terra em herança, segundo as doze tribos de Israel. José terá duas partes.

14 A nd ye have inherited it, one as well as another, in that I have lifted up My hand to give it to your fathers; and this land hath fallen to you in inheritance.

E vós a herdareis, tanto um como o outro; pois sobre ela levantei a minha mão, jurando que a daria a vossos pais; assim esta terra vos cairá a vós em herança.

15 ` And this the border of the land at the north quarter; from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, at the coming in to Zedad:

E este será o termo da terra: da banda do norte, desde o Mar Grande, pelo caminho de Hetlom, até a entrada de Zedade;

16 H amath, Berothah, Sibraim, that between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazar-Hatticon, that at the coast of Havran.

Hamate, Berota, Sibraim, que está entre o termo de Damasco e o termo de Hamate; Hazer-Haticom, que está junto ao termo de Haurã.

17 A nd the border from the sea hath been Hazar-Enan, the border of Damascus, and Zaphon at the north, and the border of Hamath: and the north quarter.

O termo irá do mar até Hazar-Enom, junto ao termo setentrional de Damasco, tendo ao norte o termo de Hamate. Essa será a fronteira do norte.

18 ` And the east quarter from between Havran, and Damascus, and Gilead, and the land of Israel, the Jordan; from the border over-against the eastern sea ye measure: and the east quarter.

E a fronteira do oriente, entre Haurã, e Damasco, e Gileade, e a terra de Israel, será o Jordão; desde o termo do norte até o mar do oriente medireis. Essa será a fronteira do oriente.

19 ` And the south quarter southward from Tamar unto the waters of Meriboth-Kadesh, the stream unto the great sea: and the south quarter southward.

E a fronteira meridional será desde Tamar até as águas de Meribote-Cades, ao longo do Ribeiro do Egito até o Mar Grande. Essa será a fronteira meridional.

20 ` And the west quarter the great sea, from the border till over-against the coming in to Hamath: this the west quarter.

E a fronteira do ocidente será o Mar Grande, desde o termo do sul até a entrada de Hamate. Essa será a fronteira do ocidente.

21 ` And ye have divided this land to you, according to the tribes of Israel;

Repartireis, pois, esta terra entre vós, segundo as tribos de Israel.

22 a nd it hath come to pass, ye separate it for an inheritance to yourselves, and to the sojourners who are sojourning in your midst, who have begotten sons in your midst, and they have been to you as native, with the sons of Israel, with you they are separated for an inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Israel.

Reparti-la-eis em herança por sortes entre vós e entre os estrangeiros que habitam no meio de vós e que têm gerado filhos no meio de vós; e vós os tereis como naturais entre os filhos de Israel; convosco terão herança, no meio das tribos de Israel.

23 A nd it hath come to pass, in the tribe with which the sojourner sojourneth, there ye give his inheritance -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

E será que na tribo em que peregrinar o estrangeiro, ali lhe dareis a sua herança, diz o Senhor Deus.
