1 ` And thou, bring thou near unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from the midst of the sons of Israel, for his being priest to Me, Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, sons of Aaron;

Depois farás chegar a ti teu irmão Arão, e seus filhos com ele, dentre os filhos de Israel, para me administrarem o ofício sacerdotal; a saber: Arão, Nadabe e Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar, os filhos de Arão.

2 a nd thou hast made holy garments for Aaron thy brother, for honour and for beauty;

Farás vestes sagradas para Arão, teu irmão, para glória e ornamento.

3 a nd thou -- thou dost speak unto all the wise of heart, whom I have filled a spirit of wisdom, and they have made the garments of Aaron to sanctify him for his being priest to Me.

Falarás a todos os homens hábeis, a quem eu tenha enchido do espírito de sabedoria, que façam as vestes de Arão para santificá-lo, a fim de que me administre o ofício sacerdotal.

4 ` And these the garments which they make: a breastplate, and an ephod, and an upper robe, and an embroidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle; yea, they have made holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and for his sons, for his being priest to Me.

Estas pois são as vestes que farão: um peitoral, um éfode, um manto, uma túnica bordada, uma mitra e um cinto; farão, pois, as vestes sagradas para Arão, teu irmão, e para seus filhos, a fim de me administrarem o ofício sacerdotal.

5 ` And they take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the linen,

E receberão o ouro, o azul, a púrpura, o carmesim e o linho fino,

6 a nd have made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen, work of a designer;

e farão o éfode de ouro, azul, púrpura, carmesim e linho fino torcido, obra de desenhista.

7 i t hath two shoulders joining at its two ends, and it is joined.

Terá duas ombreiras, que se unam

8 ` And the girdle of his ephod which on him, according to its work, is of the same, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.

E o cinto de obra esmerada do éfode, que estará sobre ele, formando com ele uma só peça, será de obra semelhante de ouro, azul, púrpura, carmesim e linho fino torcido.

9 ` And thou hast taken the two shoham stones, and hast opened on them the names of the sons of Israel;

E tomarás duas pedras de berilo, e gravarás nelas os nomes dos filhos de Israel.

10 s ix of their names on the one stone, and the names of the remaining six on the second stone, according to their births;

Seis dos seus nomes numa pedra, e os seis nomes restantes na outra pedra, segundo a ordem do seu nascimento.

11 t he work of an engraver in stone, openings of a signet, thou dost open the two stones by the names of the sons of Israel; turned round, embroidered gold, thou dost make them.

Conforme a obra de lapidário, como a gravura de um selo, gravarás as duas pedras, com os nomes dos filhos de Israel; guarnecidas de engastes de ouro as farás.

12 ` And thou hast set the two stones on the shoulders of the ephod -- stones of memorial to the sons of Israel -- and Aaron hath borne their names before Jehovah, on his two shoulders, for a memorial.

E porás as duas pedras nas ombreiras do éfode, para servirem de pedras de memorial para os filhos de Israel; assim sobre um e outro ombro levará Arão diante do Senhor os seus nomes como memorial.

13 ` And thou hast made embroidered things of gold,

Farás também engastes de ouro,

14 a nd two chains of pure gold, wreathed work thou dost make them, work of thick bands, and thou hast put the thick chains on the embroidered things.

e duas cadeiazinhas de ouro puro; como cordas as farás, de obra trançada; e aos engastes fixarás as cadeiazinhas de obra trançada.

15 ` And thou hast made a breastplate of judgment, work of a designer; according to the work of the ephod thou dost make it; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen thou dost make it;

Farás também o peitoral do juízo, obra de artífice; conforme a obra do éfode o farás; de ouro, de azul, de púrpura, de carmesim, e de linho fino torcido o farás.

16 i t is square, doubled, a span its length, and a span its breadth.

Quadrado e duplo, será de um palmo o seu comprimento, e de um palmo a sua largura.

17 ` And thou hast set in it settings of stone, four rows of stone; a row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle the first row;

E o encherás de pedras de engaste, em quatro fileiras: a primeira será de uma cornalina, um topázio e uma esmeralda;

18 a nd the second row emerald, sapphire, and diamond;

a segunda fileira será de uma granada, uma safira e um ônix;

19 a nd the third row opal, agate, and amethyst;

a terceira fileira será de um jacinto, uma ágata e uma ametista;

20 a nd the fourth row beryl, and onyx, and jasper; embroidered with gold are they in their settings,

e a quarta fileira será de uma crisólita, um berilo e um jaspe; elas serão guarnecidas de ouro nos seus engastes.

21 a nd the stones are according to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, according to their names, openings of a signet, each by his name are they for the twelve tribes.

Serão, pois, as pedras segundo os nomes dos filhos de Israel, doze segundo os seus nomes; serão como a gravura de um selo, cada uma com o seu nome, para as doze tribos.

22 ` And thou hast made on the breastplate wreathed chains, work of thick bands, of pure gold;

Também farás sobre o peitoral cadeiazinhas como cordas, obra de trança, de ouro puro.

23 a nd thou hast made on the breastplate two rings of gold, and hast put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate;

Igualmente sobre o peitoral farás duas argolas de ouro, e porás as duas argolas nas duas extremidades do peitoral.

24 a nd thou hast put the two thick bands of gold on the two rings at the ends of the breastplate;

Então meterás as duas cadeiazinhas de ouro, de obra trançada, nas duas argolas nas extremidades do peitoral;

25 a nd the two ends of the two thick bands thou dost put on the two embroidered things, and thou hast put on the shoulders of the ephod over-against its face.

e as outras duas pontas das duas cadeiazinhas de obra trançada meterás nos dois engastes, e as porás nas ombreiras do éfode, na parte dianteira dele.

26 ` And thou hast made two rings of gold, and hast set them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its border, which over-against the ephod within;

Farás outras duas argolas de ouro, e as porás nas duas extremidades do peitoral, na sua borda que estiver junto ao lado interior do éfode.

27 a nd thou hast made two rings of gold, and hast put them on the two shoulders of the ephod, beneath, over-against its front, over-against its joining, above the girdle of the ephod,

Farás mais duas argolas de ouro, e as porás nas duas ombreiras do éfode, para baixo, na parte dianteira, junto ã costura, e acima do cinto de obra esmerada do éfode.

28 a nd they bind the breastplate by its rings unto the rings of the ephod with a ribbon of blue, to be above the girdle of the ephod, and the breastplate is not loosed from the ephod.

E ligarão o peitoral, pelas suas argolas,

29 ` And Aaron hath borne the names of the sons of Israel in the breastplate of judgment, on his heart, in his going in unto the sanctuary, for a memorial before Jehovah continually.

Assim Arão levará os nomes dos filhos de Israel no peitoral do juízo sobre o seu coração, quando entrar no lugar santo, para memorial diante do Senhor continuamente.

30 ` And thou hast put unto the breastplate of judgment the Lights and the Perfections, and they have been on the heart of Aaron, in his going in before Jehovah, and Aaron hath borne the judgment of the sons of Israel on his heart before Jehovah continually.

Também porás no peitoral do juízo o Urim e o Tumim, para que estejam sobre o coração de Arão, quando entrar diante do Senhor; assim Arão levará o juízo dos filhos de Israel sobre o seu coração diante do Senhor continuamente.

31 ` And thou hast made the upper robe of the ephod completely of blue,

Também farás o manto do éfode todo de azul.

32 a nd the opening for its head hath been in its midst, a border is to its opening round about, work of a weaver, as the opening of a habergeon there is to it; it is not rent.

No meio dele haverá uma abertura para a cabeça; esta abertura terá um debrum de obra tecida ao redor, como a abertura de cota de malha, para que não se rompa.

33 ` And thou hast made on its hem pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, on its hem round about, and bells of gold in their midst round about;

E nas suas abas, em todo o seu redor, farás romãs de azul, púrpura e carmesim, e campainhas de ouro, entremeadas com elas ao redor.

34 a bell of gold and a pomegranate, a bell of gold and a pomegranate on the hems of the upper robe round about.

uma campainha de ouro, e uma romã, outra campainha de ouro, e outra romã, haverá nas abas do manto ao redor.

35 ` And it hath been on Aaron to minister in, and its sound hath been heard in his coming in unto the sanctuary before Jehovah, and in his going out, and he doth not die.

E estará sobre Arão quando ministrar, para que se ouça o sonido ao entrar ele no lugar santo diante do Senhor e ao sair, para que ele não morra.

36 ` And thou hast made a flower of pure gold, and hast opened on it -- openings of a signet -- `Holy to Jehovah;'

Também farás uma lâmina de ouro puro, e nela gravarás como a gravura de um selo: SANTO AO SENHOR.

37 a nd thou hast put it on a blue ribbon, and it hath been on the mitre -- over-against the front of the mitre it is;

Pô-la-ás em um cordão azul, de maneira que esteja na mitra; bem na frente da mitra estará.

38 a nd it hath been on the forehead of Aaron, and Aaron hath borne the iniquity of the holy things which the sons of Israel do hallow, even all their holy gifts; and it hath been on his forehead continually for a pleasing thing for them before Jehovah.

E estará sobre a testa de Arão, e Arão levará a iniqüidade das coisas santas, que os filhos de Israel consagrarem em todas as suas santas ofertas; e estará continuamente na sua testa, para que eles sejam aceitos diante do Senhor.

39 ` And thou hast embroidered the coat of linen, and hast made a mitre of linen, and a girdle thou dost make -- work of an embroiderer.

Também tecerás a túnica enxadrezada de linho fino; bem como de linho fino farás a mitra; e farás o cinto, obra de bordador.

40 ` And for the sons of Aaron thou dost make coats, and thou hast made for them girdles, yea, bonnets thou dost make for them, for honour and for beauty;

Também para os filhos de Arão farás túnicas; e far-lhes-ás cintos; também lhes farás tiaras, para glória e ornamento.

41 a nd thou hast clothed Aaron thy brother with them, and his sons with him, and hast anointed them, and hast consecrated their hand, and hast sanctified them, and they have been priests to Me.

E vestirás com eles a Arão, teu irmão, e também a seus filhos, e os ungirás e consagrarás, e os santificarás, para que me administrem o sacerdócio.

42 ` And make thou for them linen trousers to cover the naked flesh: they are from the loins even unto the thighs;

Faze-lhes também calções de linho, para cobrirem a carne nua; estender-se-ão desde os lombos até as coxas.

43 a nd they have been on Aaron and on his sons, in their going in unto the tent of meeting, or in their drawing nigh unto the altar to minister in the sanctuary, and they do not bear iniquity nor have they died; a statute age-during to him, and to his seed after him.

E estarão sobre Arão e sobre seus filhos, quando entrarem na tenda da revelação, ou quando chegarem ao altar para ministrar no lugar santo, para que não levem iniqüidade e morram; isto será estatuto perpétuo para ele e para a sua descendência depois dele.
