1 T hese journeys of the sons of Israel who have come out of the land of Egypt, by their hosts, by the hand of Moses and Aaron;

São estas as jornadas dos filhos de Israel, pelas quais saíram da terra do Egito, segundo os seus exércitos, sob o comando de Moisés e Arão.

2 a nd Moses writeth their outgoings, by their journeys, by the command of Jehovah; and these their journeys, by their outgoings:

Moisés registrou os pontos de partida, segundo as suas jornadas, conforme o mandado do Senhor; e estas são as suas jornadas segundo os pontos de partida:

3 A nd they journey from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow of the passover have the sons of Israel gone out with a high hand, before the eyes of all the Egyptians --

Partiram de Ramessés no primeiro mês, no dia quinze do mês; no dia seguinte ao da páscoa saíram os filhos de Israel afoitamente ã vista de todos os egípcios,

4 a nd the Egyptians are burying those whom Jehovah hath smitten among them, every first-born, and on their gods hath Jehovah done judgments --

enquanto estes enterravam a todos os seus primogênitos, a quem o Senhor havia ferido entre eles, havendo o senhor executado juízos também contra os seus deuses.

5 a nd the sons of Israel journey from Rameses, and encamp in Succoth.

Partiram, pois, os filhos de Israel de Ramessés, e acamparam-se em Sucote.

6 A nd they journey from Succoth, and encamp in Etham, which in the extremity of the wilderness;

Partiram de Sucote, e acamparam-se em Etã, que está na extremidade do deserto.

7 a nd they journey from Etham, and turn back on Pi-Hahiroth, which on the front of Baal-Zephon, and they encamp before Migdol.

8 A nd they journey from Pi-Hahiroth, and pass over through the midst of the sea, into the wilderness, and go a journey of three days in the wilderness of Etham, and encamp in Marah.

9 A nd they journey from Marah, and come in to Elim, and in Elim twelve fountains of waters, and seventy palm trees, and they encamp there;

10 a nd they journey from Elim, and encamp by the Red Sea.

36 a nd they journey from Ezion-Gaber, and encamp in the wilderness of Zin, which Kadesh.

37 A nd they journey from Kadesh, and encamp in mount Hor, in the extremity of the land of Edom.

38 A nd Aaron the priest goeth up unto mount Hor, by the command of Jehovah, and dieth there, in the fortieth year of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month;

Então Arão, o sacerdote, subiu ao monte Hor, conforme o mandado do Senhor, e ali morreu no quadragésimo ano depois da saída dos filhos de Israel da terra do Egito, no quinto mês, no primeiro dia do mês.

39 a nd Aaron a son of a hundred and twenty and three years in his dying in mount Hor.

E Arão tinha cento e vinte e três anos de idade, quando morreu no monte Hor.

40 A nd the Canaanite -- king Arad -- who is dwelling in the south, in the land of Canaan, heareth of the coming of the sons of Israel.

Ora, o cananeu, rei de Arade, que habitava o sul da terra de Canaã, ouviu que os filhos de Israel chegavam.

41 A nd they journey from mount Hor, and encamp in Zalmonah;

Partiram do monte Hor, e acamparam-se em Zalmona.

42 a nd they journey from Zalmonah, and encamp in Punon.

Partiram de Zalmona, e acamparam-se em Punom.

43 A nd they journey from Punon, and encamp in Oboth;

Partiram de Punom, e acamparam-se em Obote.

44 a nd they journey from Oboth, and encamp in Ije-Abarim, in the border of Moab.

45 A nd they journey from Iim, and encamp in Dibon-Gad;

47 A nd they journey from Almon-Diblathaim, and encamp in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo;

48 a nd they journey from the mountains of Abarim, and encamp in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, Jericho.

seu pai. de Moabe, junto ao Jordão, na altura de Jericó;

49 A nd they encamp by the Jordan from Beth-Jeshimoth, unto Abel-Shittim, in the plains of Moab.

isto é, acamparam-se junto ao Jordão, desde Bete-Jesimote até Abel-Sitim, nas planícies de Moabe.

50 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, Jericho, saying,

Também disse o Senhor a Moisés, nas planícies de Moabe, junto ao Jordão, na altura de Jericó:

51 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye are passing over the Jordan unto the land of Canaan,

Fala aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Quando houverdes passado o Jordão para a terra de Canaã,

52 t hen ye have dispossessed all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and have destroyed all their imagery, yea, all their molten images ye destroy, and all their high places ye lay waste,

lançareis fora todos os habitantes da terra de diante de vós, e destruireis todas as suas pedras em que há figuras; também destruireis todas as suas imagens de fundição, e desfareis todos os seus altos;

53 a nd ye have possessed the land, and dwelt in it, for to you I have given the land -- to possess it.

e tomareis a terra em possessão, e nela habitareis; porquanto a vós vos tenho dado esta terra para a possuirdes.

54 ` And ye have inherited the land by lot, by your families; to the many ye increase their inheritance, and to the few ye diminish their inheritance; whither the lot goeth out to him, it is his; by the tribes of your fathers ye inherit.

Herdareis a terra por meio de sortes, segundo as vossas famílias: ã família que for grande, dareis uma herança maior, e ã família que for pequena, dareis uma herança menor; o lugar que por sorte sair para alguém, esse lhe pertencerá; segundo as tribos de vossos pais recebereis as heranças.

55 ` And if ye do not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it hath been, those whom ye let remain of them, for pricks in your eyes, and for thorns in your sides, and they have distressed you on the land in which ye are dwelling,

Mas se não lançardes fora os habitantes da terra de diante de vós, os que deixardes ficar vos serão como espinhos nos olhos, e como abrolhos nas ilhargas, e vos perturbarão na terra em que habitardes;

56 a nd it hath come to pass, as I thought to do to them -- I do to you.'

e eu vos farei a vós como pensei em fazer-lhes a eles.
