1 A nd I turn back, and lift up mine eyes, and look, and lo, four chariots are coming forth from between two of the mountains, and the mountains mountains of brass.

De novo levantei os meus olhos, e olhei, e eis quatro carros que saíam dentre dois montes, e estes montes eram montes de bronze.

2 I n the first chariot red horses, and in the second chariot brown horses,

No primeiro carro eram cavalos vermelhos, no segundo carro cavalos pretos,

3 a nd in the third chariot white horses, and in the fourth chariot strong grisled horses.

no terceiro carro cavalos brancos, e no quarto carro cavalos baios com malhas.

4 A nd I answer and say unto the messenger who is speaking with me, `What these, my lord?'

Então, dirigindo-me ao anjo que falava comigo, perguntei: Que são estes, meu senhor?

5 A nd the messenger answereth and saith unto me, `These four spirits of the heavens coming forth from presenting themselves before the Lord of the whole earth.

Respondeu-me o anjo: Estes estão saindo aos quatro ventos do céu, depois de se apresentarem perante o Senhor de toda a terra.

6 T he brown horses that therein, are coming forth unto the land of the north; and the white have come forth unto their hinder part; and the grisled have come forth unto the land of the south;

O carro em que estão os cavalos pretos sai para a terra do norte, os brancos são para o oeste, e os malhados para a terra do sul;

7 a nd the strong ones have come forth, and they seek to go to walk up and down in the earth;' and he saith, `Go, walk up and down in the earth;' and they walk up and down in the earth.

e os cavalos baios saíam, e procuravam ir por diante, para percorrerem a terra. E ele disse: Ide, percorrei a terra. E eles a percorriam.

8 A nd he calleth me, and speaketh unto me, saying, `See, those coming forth unto the land of the north have caused My Spirit to rest in the land of the north.'

Então clamou para mim, dizendo: Eis que aqueles que saíram para a terra do norte fazem repousar na terra do norte o meu Espírito.

9 A nd there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

Ainda me veio a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

10 t o take of the captivity (who came from Babylon) from Heldai, from Tobijah, and from Jedaiah, `and thou hast come in -- thou, in that day, yea, thou hast come into the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah,

Recebe dos que foram levados cativos, a saber, de Heldai, de Tobias, e de Jedaías, e vem tu no mesmo dia, e entra na casa de Josias, filho de Sofonias, para a qual vieram de Babilônia;

11 a nd thou hast taken silver and gold, and hast made a crown, and hast placed on the head of Joshua son of Josedech, the high priest,

recebe, digo, prata e ouro, e faze coroas, e põe-nas na cabeça do sumo sacerdote Josué, filho de Jeozadaque;

12 a nd hast spoken unto him, saying: Thus spake Jehovah of Hosts, saying: Lo, a man! A Shoot -- his name, And from his place he doth shoot up, And he hath built the temple of Jehovah.

e fala-lhe, dizendo: Assim diz o Senhor dos exércitos: Eis aqui o homem cujo nome é Renovo; ele brotará do seu lugar, e edificará o templo do Senhor.

13 Y ea, he doth build the temple of Jehovah, And he doth bear away honour, And he hath sat and ruled on His throne, And hath been a priest on His throne, And a counsel of peace is between both.

Ele mesmo edificará o templo do Senhor; receberá a honra real, assentar-se-á no seu trono, e dominará. E Josué, o sacerdote, ficará ã sua direita; e haverá entre os dois o conselho de paz.

14 A nd the crown is to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.

Essas coroas servirão a Helem, e a Tobias, e a Jedaías, e a Hem, filho de Sofonias, de memorial no templo do Senhor.

15 A nd the far-off come in, and they have built in the temple of Jehovah, and ye have known that Jehovah of Hosts hath sent me unto you, yea, it hath come to pass, if ye do certainly hearken to the voice of Jehovah your God.'

E aqueles que estão longe virão, e ajudarão a edificar o templo do Senhor; e vós sabereis que o Senhor dos exercitos me tem enviado a vós; e isso sucederá, se diligentemente obedecerdes a voz do Senhor vosso Deus.
