1 A nd I turn back, and lift up mine eyes, and look, and lo, four chariots are coming forth from between two of the mountains, and the mountains mountains of brass.

De nuevo levanté la mirada, y vi que de entre dos montes salían cuatro carros. Los montes eran de bronce.

2 I n the first chariot red horses, and in the second chariot brown horses,

En el primer carro había caballos alazanes; en el segundo carro, caballos negros;

3 a nd in the third chariot white horses, and in the fourth chariot strong grisled horses.

en el tercer carro, caballos blancos; y en el cuarto carro, caballos pintos.

4 A nd I answer and say unto the messenger who is speaking with me, `What these, my lord?'

Le pregunté entonces al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «Mi señor, ¿qué significa esto?»

5 A nd the messenger answereth and saith unto me, `These four spirits of the heavens coming forth from presenting themselves before the Lord of the whole earth.

Y el ángel me respondió: «Éstos son los cuatro vientos de los cielos, que salen después de presentarse delante del Señor de toda la tierra.»

6 T he brown horses that therein, are coming forth unto the land of the north; and the white have come forth unto their hinder part; and the grisled have come forth unto the land of the south;

El carro con los caballos negros salió en dirección al país del norte, y los blancos salieron tras ellos, y los overos salieron en dirección al país del sur.

7 a nd the strong ones have come forth, and they seek to go to walk up and down in the earth;' and he saith, `Go, walk up and down in the earth;' and they walk up and down in the earth.

Los alazanes salieron dispuestos a recorrer la tierra. Y el ángel dijo: «Vayan a recorrer la tierra.» Y ellos la recorrieron.

8 A nd he calleth me, and speaketh unto me, saying, `See, those coming forth unto the land of the north have caused My Spirit to rest in the land of the north.'

9 A nd there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

10 t o take of the captivity (who came from Babylon) from Heldai, from Tobijah, and from Jedaiah, `and thou hast come in -- thou, in that day, yea, thou hast come into the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah,

«Jelday, Tobías y Jedaías estaban cautivos en Babilonia, pero ya han vuelto. Así que ve hoy mismo a la casa de Josías hijo de Sofonías y tómalos.

11 a nd thou hast taken silver and gold, and hast made a crown, and hast placed on the head of Joshua son of Josedech, the high priest,

Toma también plata y oro, y haz una coronas. Ponle una de ellas al sumo sacerdote Josué hijo de Josadac,

12 a nd hast spoken unto him, saying: Thus spake Jehovah of Hosts, saying: Lo, a man! A Shoot -- his name, And from his place he doth shoot up, And he hath built the temple of Jehovah.

y dile: “Así ha dicho el Señor de los ejércitos: Éste es el hombre cuyo nombre es Renuevo, porque de sus raíces saldrán renuevos. Será él quien edifique el templo del Señor.

13 Y ea, he doth build the temple of Jehovah, And he doth bear away honour, And he hath sat and ruled on His throne, And hath been a priest on His throne, And a counsel of peace is between both.

Lo edificará, y se cubrirá de gloria, y se sentará en su trono para gobernar, al lado de un sacerdote, y entre los dos habrá un acuerdo de paz.”

14 A nd the crown is to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.

Las coronas les servirán a Jelday, Tobías, Jedaías y Josías hijo de Sofonías, como un recordatorio en el templo del Señor.»

15 A nd the far-off come in, and they have built in the temple of Jehovah, and ye have known that Jehovah of Hosts hath sent me unto you, yea, it hath come to pass, if ye do certainly hearken to the voice of Jehovah your God.'

Y los que están lejos vendrán y ayudarán a edificar el templo del Señor. Así sabrán que el Señor de los ejércitos me ha enviado a ustedes. Esto sucederá si ustedes son obedientes y atienden la voz del Señor su Dios.
