1 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `One plague more I do bring in on Pharaoh, and on Egypt, afterwards he doth send you away from this; when he is sending you away, he surely casteth you out altogether from this;

El Señor le dijo a Moisés: «Todavía voy a traer una plaga sobre el faraón y sobre Egipto. Después de eso, él los dejará ir de aquí, y esa expulsión será definitiva.

2 s peak, I pray thee, in the ears of the people, and they ask -- each man from his neighbour, and each woman from her neighbour, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold.'

Ve ahora y habla con el pueblo, para que todos, hombres y mujeres, les pidan a sus vecinos y vecinas alhajas de oro y plata.»

3 A nd Jehovah giveth the grace of the people in the eyes of the Egyptians; also the man Moses very great in the land of Egypt, in the eyes of the servants of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of the people.

Y el Señor hizo que los egipcios vieran al pueblo con buenos ojos. Moisés también era tenido en alta estima en la tierra de Egipto, tanto a los ojos de los siervos del faraón como a los ojos del pueblo.

4 A nd Moses saith, `Thus said Jehovah, About midnight I am going out into the midst of Egypt,

Así que Moisés dijo: «Así ha dicho el Señor: “A la medianoche pasaré a través de todo Egipto,

5 a nd every first-born in the land of Egypt hath died, from the first-born of Pharaoh who is sitting on his throne, unto the first-born of the maid-servant who behind the millstones, and all the first-born of beasts;

y todos los primogénitos egipcios morirán, desde el primogénito del faraón, que se sienta en su trono, hasta el primogénito de la sierva que trabaja en el molino, y también todas las primeras crías de los animales.

6 a nd there hath been a great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as there hath not been, and such as there is not again.

Habrá en todo Egipto un gran clamor, como no lo hubo antes, ni jamás lo habrá.

7 ` And against all the sons of Israel a dog sharpeneth not its tongue, from man even unto beast, so that ye know that Jehovah doth make a separation between the Egyptians and Israel;

Pero entre los hijos de Israel, ni un perro moverá su lengua contra ellos, ni contra sus animales, para que sepan que el Señor hace diferencia entre los egipcios y los israelitas.

8 a nd all these thy servants have come down unto me, and bowed themselves to me, saying, Go out, thou and all the people who at thy feet; and afterwards I do go out;' -- and he goeth out from Pharaoh in the heat of anger.

Y todos estos siervos tuyos se humillarán ante mí, y con el rostro inclinado delante de mí dirán: ‘Vete de aquí, tú y todo el pueblo que te sigue’. Después de esto, yo saldré.”» Y Moisés salió muy enojado de la presencia del faraón.

9 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Pharaoh doth not hearken unto you, so as to multiply My wonders in the land of Egypt;'

Entonces el Señor le dijo: «Para que mis maravillas se multipliquen en la tierra de Egipto, el faraón no les va a hacer caso.»

10 a nd Moses and Aaron have done all these wonders before Pharaoh, and Jehovah strengtheneth Pharaoh's heart, and he hath not sent the sons of Israel out of his land.

Y Moisés y Aarón hicieron todos estos prodigios delante del faraón, pues el Señor endureció el corazón del faraón y no dejó salir de su país a los hijos de Israel.
