1 T he masters! that which is righteous and equal to the servants give ye, having known that ye also have a Master in the heavens.

5 i n wisdom walk ye toward those without, the time forestalling;

Compórtense sabiamente con los no creyentes, y aprovechen bien el tiempo.

6 y our word always in grace -- with salt being seasoned -- to know how it behoveth you to answer each one.

También los saluda Jesús, llamado el Justo. Éstos son los únicos judíos que me ayudan en el reino de Dios, y para mí han sido un gran consuelo.

12 S alute you doth Epaphras, who of you, a servant of Christ, always striving for you in the prayers, that ye may stand perfect and made full in all the will of God,

Los saluda Epafras, que es uno de ustedes. En sus oraciones, este siervo de Cristo siempre está rogando por ustedes con gran preocupación, para que ustedes se mantengan firmes y sean completamente perfectos en todo lo que Dios quiere.

Una vez que esta carta haya sido leída entre ustedes, asegúrense de que se lea también en la iglesia de los laodicenses, y que la carta de Laodicea la lean también ustedes.

17 a nd say to Archippus, `See to the ministration that thou didst receive in the Lord, that thou mayest fulfil it.'
