1 A nd he maketh an altar of brass, twenty cubits its length, and twenty cubits its breadth, and ten cubits its height.

Jirán hizo además un altar de bronce de nueve metros de largo por nueve metros de ancho, y cuatro y medio metros de alto.

2 A nd he maketh the molten sea; ten by the cubit, from its edge unto its edge, round in compass, and five by the cubit its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit doth compass it, round about.

Hizo también un mar de fundición totalmente redondo, que de un borde al otro medía cuatro y medio metros, por dos metros y veinticinco centímetros de altura, ceñido por un cordón de trece y medio metros de largo.

3 A nd the likeness of oxen under it, all round about encompassing it, ten in the cubit, compassing the sea round about; two rows of oxen are cast in its being cast.

Debajo del mar había dos hileras de calabazas fundidas juntamente con el mar. Estas figuras de calabazas circundaban el mar, y cada medio metro había diez de ellas.

4 I t is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea upon them above, and all their hinder parts within.

El mar estaba asentado sobre doce bueyes, con las ancas hacia adentro. Tres de ellos miraban al norte, tres al sur, tres al oriente y tres al occidente, y sobre ellos descansaba el mar.

5 A nd its thickness a handbreadth, and its lip as the work of the lip of a cup flowered with lilies; taking hold -- baths three thousand it containeth.

Tenía un grosor de siete centímetros, y el borde tenía la forma del borde de un cáliz, o de un lirio. Su capacidad era de sesenta mil litros.

6 A nd he maketh ten lavers, and putteth five on the right, and five on the left, to wash with them; the work of the burnt-offering they purge with them; and the sea for priests to wash with.

Hizo también diez fuentes, y puso cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda, para lavar y limpiar en ellas lo que se ofrecía en holocausto. El mar era para que los sacerdotes se lavaran en él.

7 A nd he maketh the ten candlesticks of gold, according to their ordinance, and placeth in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left.

Jirán hizo también diez candeleros de oro según su forma, y los puso en el templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda.

8 A nd he maketh ten tables, and placeth in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left; and he maketh bowls of gold a hundred.

Además, hizo diez mesas y las puso en el templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda; igualmente, hizo cien tazones de oro.

9 A nd he maketh the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and their doors he hath overlaid with brass.

También hizo el atrio de los sacerdotes, y el gran atrio, y las portadas del atrio, y sus puertas las recubrió de bronce.

10 A nd the sea he hath placed on the right shoulder eastward, over-against the south.

El mar lo colocó al lado derecho, hacia el sureste del templo.

11 A nd Huram maketh the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls, and Huram finisheth to make the work that he made for king Solomon in the house of God;

Jirán hizo también calderos, palas y tazones, y así concluyó la obra para el templo de Dios, que hizo para el rey Salomón:

12 t wo pillars, and the bowls, and the crowns on the heads of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two bowls of the crowns that on the heads of the pillars;

las dos columnas, los cordones, los capiteles sobre las cabezas de las dos columnas, dos redes para cubrir las dos esferas de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas,

13 a nd the pomegranates four hundred to the two wreaths, two rows of pomegranates to the one wreath, to cover the two bowls of the crowns that on the front of the pillars.

cuatrocientas granadas en las dos redes, dos hileras de granadas en cada red, para que cubrieran las dos esferas de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas,

14 A nd the bases he hath made; and the lavers he hath made on the bases;

16 a nd the pots, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their vessels, hath Huram his father made for king Solomon, for the house of Jehovah, of brass purified.

los calderos, las palas y los garfios. Jirán Abí hizo de bronce muy fino, para el rey Salomón, todos los enseres para el templo del Señor.

17 I n the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zeredathah.

El rey los fundió en la tierra arcillosa de los llanos del Jordán, entre Sucot y Seredata.

18 A nd Solomon maketh all these vessels in great abundance, that the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.

Todos estos enseres los hizo Salomón en número tan grande, que nunca pudo saberse el peso del bronce.

19 A nd Solomon maketh all the vessels that the house of God, and the altar of gold, and the tables, and on them bread of the presence;

Así fue como Salomón hizo todos los utensilios para el templo de Dios, y el altar de oro, y las mesas sobre las cuales se ponían los panes de la proposición,

20 a nd the candlesticks, and their lamps, for their burning according to the ordinance, before the oracle, of gold refined;

así como los candeleros y sus lámparas de oro puro, para que las encendieran delante del lugar santísimo, conforme a la ordenanza.

21 a nd the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold -- it the perfection of gold;

Las flores, lamparillas y tenazas se hicieron de oro finísimo.

22 a nd the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of gold refined, and the opening of the house, its innermost doors to the holy of holies, and the doors of the house to the temple, of gold.

Las despabiladeras, los lebrillos, las cucharas y los incensarios también eran de oro puro, lo mismo que la entrada del templo, sus puertas interiores para el lugar santísimo, y las puertas del templo.
