1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

El Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

2 ` Speak unto Aaron, and thou hast said unto him, In thy causing the lights to go up, over-against the face of the candlestick do the seven lights give light.'

«Habla con Aarón, y dile que cuando encienda las lámparas, las siete lámparas deben alumbrar hacia la parte frontal del candelero.»

3 A nd Aaron doth so; over-against the face of the candlestick he hath caused its lights to go up, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

Y Aarón lo hizo así. Encendió las lámparas hacia la parte frontal del candelero, tal y como el Señor se lo ordenó a Moisés.

4 A nd this the work of the candlestick: beaten work of gold; unto its thigh, unto its flower it beaten work; as the appearance which Jehovah shewed Moses, so he hath made the candlestick.

Desde la base hasta las flores, el candelero estaba hecho de oro labrado a martillo. Se hizo conforme al modelo que el Señor le mostró a Moisés. Consagración de los levitas

5 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

El Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

6 ` Take the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and thou hast cleansed them.

«De entre los hijos de Israel, toma a los levitas y haz expiación por ellos.

7 ` And thus thou dost to them to cleanse them: sprinkle upon them waters of atonement, and they have caused a razor to pass over all their flesh, and have washed their garments, and cleansed themselves,

La expiación de ellos la harás de la siguiente manera: rociarás sobre ellos el agua de la expiación, y pasarás la navaja sobre todo su cuerpo; entonces ellos lavarán sus vestidos, y así quedarán purificados.

8 a nd have taken a bullock, a son of the herd, and its present, flour mixed with oil, -- and a second bullock a son of the herd thou dost take for a sin-offering,

Luego tomarán un novillo, junto con su ofrenda de flor de harina amasada con aceite, y tomarás otro novillo para la expiación.

9 a nd thou hast brought near the Levites before the tent of meeting, and thou hast assembled the whole company of the sons of Israel,

Entonces harás que los levitas se acerquen al tabernáculo de reunión, y reunirás a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel.

10 a nd thou hast brought near the Levites before Jehovah, and the sons of Israel have laid their hands on the Levites,

Y cuando hayas acercado a los levitas, y ellos estén ante mí, los hijos de Israel pondrán sus manos sobre los levitas

11 a nd Aaron hath waved the Levites -- a wave-offering before Jehovah, from the sons of Israel, and they have been -- for doing the service of Jehovah.

y Aarón presentará a los levitas ante mí como ofrenda de los hijos de Israel, y ellos servirán en mi ministerio.

12 ` And the Levites lay their hands on the head of the bullocks, and make thou the one a sin-offering, and the one a burnt-offering to Jehovah, to atone for the Levites,

Luego los levitas pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza de los novillos, y ofrecerás uno de ellos como expiación, y el otro en holocausto en mi honor, para hacer expiación por los levitas.

13 a nd thou hast caused the Levites to stand before Aaron, and before his sons, and hast waved them -- a wave-offering to Jehovah;

Presentarás entonces a los levitas delante de Aarón y delante de sus hijos, y me los ofrecerás como ofrenda.

14 a nd thou hast separated the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and the Levites have become Mine;

Así apartarás a los levitas de entre los hijos de Israel, y los levitas serán míos.

15 a nd afterwards do the Levites come in to serve the tent of meeting, and thou hast cleansed them, and hast waved them -- a wave-offering.

»Después de que los levitas hayan sido purificados y presentado ante mí como ofrenda, vendrán a ministrar en el tabernáculo de reunión.

16 ` For they are certainly given to Me out of the midst of the sons of Israel, instead of him who openeth any womb -- the first-born of all -- from the sons of Israel I have taken them to Myself;

Porque, de entre los hijos de Israel, los levitas estarán totalmente dedicados a mí, en lugar de todo primogénito. Los he tomado para mí, en lugar de los primogénitos de todos los hijos de Israel.

17 f or Mine every first-born among the sons of Israel, among man and among beast; in the day of my smiting every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for Myself;

Porque desde el día en que yo herí a todos los primogénitos en Egipto, los santifiqué para mí. Todo primogénito de los hijos de Israel es mío, lo mismo de hombres que de animales.

18 a nd I take the Levites instead of every first-born among the sons of Israel:

Yo he tomado a los levitas en lugar de todos los primogénitos de los hijos de Israel,

19 ` And I give the Levites gifts to Aaron and to his sons, from the midst of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the sons of Israel, and there is no plague among the sons of Israel in the sons of Israel's drawing nigh unto the sanctuary.'

y se los he dado a Aarón y a sus hijos, de entre los hijos de Israel, para que ejerzan en el tabernáculo de reunión el ministerio de los hijos de Israel y los reconcilien conmigo, para que no les sobrevenga ninguna plaga cuando los hijos de Israel se acerquen al santuario.»

20 A nd Moses doth -- Aaron also, and all the company of the sons of Israel -- to the Levites according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so have the sons of Israel done to them.

Y Moisés y Aarón y toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel hicieron con los levitas todo lo que el Señor le ordenó a Moisés acerca de ellos. Eso hicieron los hijos de Israel con los levitas.

21 A nd the Levites cleanse themselves, and wash their garments, and Aaron waveth them a wave-offering before Jehovah, and Aaron maketh atonement for them to cleanse them,

Fue así como los levitas se purificaron y lavaron sus vestidos, y Aarón los presentó como ofrenda delante del Señor, e hizo expiación por ellos para purificarlos.

22 a nd afterwards have the Levites gone in to do their service in the tent of meeting, before Aaron and before his sons; as Jehovah hath commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they have done to them.

Después los levitas fueron al tabernáculo de reunión, para ejercer su ministerio delante de Aarón y de sus hijos. Todo lo que el Señor ordenó a Moisés acerca de los levitas, fue hecho.

23 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

El Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

24 ` This that which the Levites': from a son of five and twenty years and upward he doth go in to serve the host in the service of the tent of meeting,

«Los levitas mayores de veinticinco años entrarán a ejercer su ministerio en el servicio del tabernáculo de reunión.

25 a nd from a son of fifty years he doth return from the host of the service, and doth not serve any more,

Pero al cumplir cincuenta años dejarán de ejercer su ministerio, y no volverán a ejercerlo.

26 a nd he hath ministered with his brethren in the tent of meeting, to keep the charge, and doth not do service; thus thou dost to the Levites concerning their charge.'

Servirán con sus hermanos en el tabernáculo de reunión, y harán guardias, pero no podrán ejercer más su ministerio. Esto harás con los levitas en cuanto a su ministerio.»
