1 A nd he bringeth me in unto the temple, and he measureth the posts, six cubits the breadth on this side, and six cubits the breadth on that side -- the breadth of the tent.

El hombre me introdujo en el templo, y midió los postes, los cuales medían seis codos de un lado y seis codos del otro, que era el ancho del tabernáculo.

2 A nd the breadth of the opening ten cubits; and the sides of the opening five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side; and he measureth its length forty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.

La puerta medía diez codos de ancho, y los costados de la puerta medían cinco codos de un lado y cinco codos del otro. Luego midió su longitud, que era de cuarenta codos, y su anchura era de veinte codos.

3 A nd he hath gone inward, and measureth the post of the opening two cubits, and the opening six cubits, and the breadth of the opening seven cubits.

Pasó entonces al interior y midió cada poste de la puerta, y medían dos codos; la puerta medía seis codos, y la entrada medía siete codos de ancho.

4 A nd he measureth its length twenty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits, unto the front of the temple, and he saith unto me, `This the holy of holies.'

Luego midió el frente del edificio, y medía veinte codos de largo y veinte codos de ancho. Entonces me dijo: «Éste es el lugar santísimo.»

5 A nd he measureth the wall of the house six cubits, and the breadth of the side-chamber four cubits, all round the house round about.

Después midió la muralla del templo, y tenía seis codos de ancho, y las cámaras alrededor del templo medían cuatro codos de ancho.

6 A nd the side-chambers side-chamber by side-chamber, three and thirty times; and they are entering into the wall -- which the house hath for the side-chambers all round about -- to be taken hold of, and they are not taken hold of by the wall of the house.

Las cámaras laterales estaban sobrepuestas, y había treinta cámaras en cada uno de los tres pisos. En la pared alrededor del templo había modillones, sobre los que descansaban las cámaras, para que no descansaran sobre la pared del templo.

7 A nd a broad place and a turning place still upwards to the side-chambers, for the turning round of the house still upwards all round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house upwards, and so the lower one goeth up unto the higher by the midst.

En su parte superior las cámaras eran más anchas; la escalera de caracol del templo iba ascendiendo por dentro del templo, de modo que en la parte alta el templo era más ancho. Del piso inferior se podía ascender al piso de en medio, y de éste al superior.

8 A nd I have looked at the house, the height all round about: the foundations of the side-chambers the fulness of the reed, six cubits by the joining.

Yo miré la altura alrededor del templo, y los cimientos de las cámaras medían lo que una caña entera, es decir, tres metros de largo.

9 T he breadth of the wall that to the side-chamber at the outside five cubits; and that which is left the place of the side-chambers that to the house.

El ancho de la pared exterior de las cámaras medía lo mismo que el espacio interior de las cámaras del templo, es decir, dos y medio metros.

10 A nd between the chambers a breadth of twenty cubits round about the house, all round about.

El espacio entre las cámaras que rodeaban el templo era de diez metros.

11 A nd the opening of the side-chamber to the place left, one opening northward, and one opening southward, and the breadth of the place that is left five cubits all round about.

La puerta de cada cámara salía al espacio libre, una puerta hacia el norte y otra puerta hacia el sur, y el espacio que quedaba alrededor era de dos y medio metros de ancho.

12 A s to the building that at the front of the separate place the corner westward, the breadth seventy cubits, and the wall of the building five cubits broad all round about, and its length ninety cubits.

El edificio que daba al occidente, delante del espacio abierto, medía treinta y cinco metros, y la pared que rodeaba el edificio tenía dos y medio metros de espesor y medía cuarenta y cinco metros de largo.

13 A nd he hath measured the house, the length a hundred cubits; and the separate place, and the building, and its walls, the length a hundred cubits;

Luego el hombre midió el templo, y tenía cincuenta metros de largo, y el espacio abierto y el edificio y sus paredes medían también cincuenta metros de largo.

14 a nd the breadth of the front of the house, and of the separate place eastward, a hundred cubits.

El frente del templo, y el espacio abierto que daba hacia el oriente, medía cincuenta metros de ancho.

15 A nd he hath measured the length of the building unto the front of the separate place that at its hinder part, and its galleries on this side and on that side, a hundred cubits, and the inner temple and the porches of the court,

El hombre midió la longitud del edificio que estaba frente al espacio abierto que había detrás de él, lo mismo que las cámaras de uno y otro lado, y el templo interior y los portales del atrio, y medían cincuenta metros.

16 t he thresholds, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about them three, over-against the threshold, a ceiling of wood all round about, and the ground unto the windows and the covered windows,

Los umbrales, las ventanas estrechas, y las cámaras alrededor de los tres pisos estaban totalmente recubiertos de madera.

17 o ver above the opening, and unto the inner-house, and at the outside, and by all the wall all round about within and without measure.

El hombre tomó medidas por encima de la puerta, y hasta el recinto interior, y también por dentro y por fuera y alrededor de toda la pared.

18 A nd it is made cherubs and palm-trees, and a palm-tree between cherub and cherub, and two faces to the cherub;

Ésta tenía labrados querubines, y entre querubín y querubín había una palmera, y cada querubín tenía dos rostros;

19 a nd the face of man unto the palm-tree on this side, and the face of a young lion unto the palm-tree on that side; it is made unto all the house all round about.

hacia la palmera de un lado el rostro era el de un hombre, y hacia la palmera del otro lado el rostro era el de un león. Esto era así alrededor de todo el templo.

20 f rom the earth unto above the opening the cherubs and the palm-trees made, and the wall of the temple.

Desde el suelo hasta la parte superior de la puerta, y por toda la pared del templo, había querubines labrados y palmeras.

21 O f the temple the side post square, and of the front of the sanctuary, the appearance as the appearance.

Cada poste del templo era cuadrado, y el frente del santuario era semejante al del otro frente.

22 O f the altar, the wood three cubits in height, and its length two cubits; and its corners to it, and its length, and its walls of wood, and he speaketh unto me, `This the table that before Jehovah.'

El altar de madera medía un metro y medio de alto y un metro de largo, y sus esquinas, su superficie y sus paredes eran de madera. Entonces el hombre me dijo: «Ésta es la mesa que está delante del Señor.»

23 A nd two doors to the temple and to the sanctuary;

El templo y el santuario tenían dos puertas.

24 a nd two leaves to the doors, two turning leaves to the doors, two to the one door, and two leaves to the other.

En cada una de las puertas del templo había dos hojas que giraban.

25 A nd made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubs and palm-trees as are made on the walls, and a thickness of wood at the front of the porch on the outside.

Las puertas tenían querubines y palmeras labrados, semejantes a los que había en las paredes, y en la fachada del atrio, por la parte exterior, había un portal de madera.

26 A nd narrow windows and palm-trees on this side, and on that side, at the sides of the porch, and the side-chambers of the house, and the thick places.

En los costados del pórtico, a uno y otro lado, había ventanas estrechas y palmeras. Así eran las cámaras del templo y los umbrales.
