1 A nd he bringeth me in unto the temple, and he measureth the posts, six cubits the breadth on this side, and six cubits the breadth on that side -- the breadth of the tent.

Poi mi condusse nel tempio e misurò i pilastri; misuravano sei cubiti di larghezza da un lato e sei cubiti di larghezza dall’altro, larghezza della tenda.

2 A nd the breadth of the opening ten cubits; and the sides of the opening five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side; and he measureth its length forty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.

La larghezza dell’ingresso era di dieci cubiti; le pareti laterali dell’ingresso misuravano cinque cubiti da un lato e cinque cubiti dall’altro. Egli misurò la lunghezza del tempio: quaranta cubiti, e venti cubiti di larghezza.

3 A nd he hath gone inward, and measureth the post of the opening two cubits, and the opening six cubits, and the breadth of the opening seven cubits.

Poi entrò dentro e misurò i pilastri dell’ingresso: due cubiti; l’ingresso misurava sei cubiti, la larghezza dell’ingresso sette cubiti.

4 A nd he measureth its length twenty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits, unto the front of the temple, and he saith unto me, `This the holy of holies.'

Misurò una lunghezza di venti cubiti e una larghezza di venti cubiti in fondo al tempio, e mi disse: «Questo è il luogo santissimo».

5 A nd he measureth the wall of the house six cubits, and the breadth of the side-chamber four cubits, all round the house round about.

Poi misurò il muro della casa: sei cubiti; e la larghezza delle camere laterali tutto intorno alla casa: quattro cubiti.

6 A nd the side-chambers side-chamber by side-chamber, three and thirty times; and they are entering into the wall -- which the house hath for the side-chambers all round about -- to be taken hold of, and they are not taken hold of by the wall of the house.

Le camere laterali erano una accanto all’altra, in numero di trenta, e c’erano tre piani; stavano in un muro, costruito per queste camere tutto intorno alla casa, perché fossero appoggiate senza appoggiarsi al muro della casa.

7 A nd a broad place and a turning place still upwards to the side-chambers, for the turning round of the house still upwards all round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house upwards, and so the lower one goeth up unto the higher by the midst.

Le camere occupavano maggiore spazio a mano a mano che si saliva di piano in piano, poiché la casa aveva una scala circolare a ogni piano tutto intorno alla casa; perciò questa parte della casa si allargava a ogni piano, e si saliva dal piano inferiore al piano superiore passando per quello di mezzo.

8 A nd I have looked at the house, the height all round about: the foundations of the side-chambers the fulness of the reed, six cubits by the joining.

Io vidi pure che la casa tutto intorno stava sopra un piano elevato; così le camere laterali avevano un fondamento alto una buona canna, sei cubiti fino all’angolo.

9 T he breadth of the wall that to the side-chamber at the outside five cubits; and that which is left the place of the side-chambers that to the house.

La larghezza del muro esterno delle camere laterali era di cinque cubiti;

10 A nd between the chambers a breadth of twenty cubits round about the house, all round about.

lo spazio libero intorno alle camere laterali della casa, fino alle stanze attorno alla casa, aveva una larghezza di venti cubiti tutto intorno.

11 A nd the opening of the side-chamber to the place left, one opening northward, and one opening southward, and the breadth of the place that is left five cubits all round about.

Le porte delle camere laterali davano sullo spazio libero: una porta a settentrione, una porta a mezzogiorno; e la larghezza dello spazio libero era di cinque cubiti tutto intorno.

12 A s to the building that at the front of the separate place the corner westward, the breadth seventy cubits, and the wall of the building five cubits broad all round about, and its length ninety cubits.

L’edificio situato davanti allo spazio vuoto dal lato d’occidente misurava settanta cubiti di larghezza; il muro dell’edificio misurava cinque cubiti di spessore tutto intorno ed era lungo novanta cubiti.

13 A nd he hath measured the house, the length a hundred cubits; and the separate place, and the building, and its walls, the length a hundred cubits;

Poi misurò la casa: era di cento cubiti di lunghezza. Lo spazio vuoto, l’edificio e i suoi muri avevano una lunghezza di cento cubiti.

14 a nd the breadth of the front of the house, and of the separate place eastward, a hundred cubits.

La larghezza della facciata della casa e dello spazio vuoto dal lato d’oriente era di cento cubiti.

15 A nd he hath measured the length of the building unto the front of the separate place that at its hinder part, and its galleries on this side and on that side, a hundred cubits, and the inner temple and the porches of the court,

Egli misurò la lunghezza dell’edificio davanti allo spazio vuoto, sul di dietro, e le sue gallerie da ogni lato: cento cubiti. L’interno del tempio, i vestiboli che davano sul cortile,

16 t he thresholds, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about them three, over-against the threshold, a ceiling of wood all round about, and the ground unto the windows and the covered windows,

gli stipiti, le finestre a grate, le gallerie tutto attorno ai tre piani erano ricoperti, all’altezza degli stipiti, di legno tutto intorno. Dal pavimento sino alle finestre (le finestre erano sbarrate),

17 o ver above the opening, and unto the inner-house, and at the outside, and by all the wall all round about within and without measure.

fino al di sopra della porta, l’interno della casa, l’esterno e tutte le pareti tutto intorno, all’interno e all’esterno, tutto era fatto secondo precise misure.

18 A nd it is made cherubs and palm-trees, and a palm-tree between cherub and cherub, and two faces to the cherub;

C’erano degli ornamenti di cherubini e di palme, una palma tra cherubino e cherubino,

19 a nd the face of man unto the palm-tree on this side, and the face of a young lion unto the palm-tree on that side; it is made unto all the house all round about.

e ogni cherubino aveva due facce: una faccia d’uomo, rivolta verso la palma da un lato, e una faccia di leone, rivolta verso l’altra palma, dall’altro lato. Gli ornamenti erano in tutta la casa, tutto intorno.

20 f rom the earth unto above the opening the cherubs and the palm-trees made, and the wall of the temple.

Dal pavimento fino al di sopra della porta c’erano dei cherubini e delle palme; così pure sul muro del tempio.

21 O f the temple the side post square, and of the front of the sanctuary, the appearance as the appearance.

Gli stipiti del tempio erano quadrati e la facciata del santuario aveva lo stesso aspetto.

22 O f the altar, the wood three cubits in height, and its length two cubits; and its corners to it, and its length, and its walls of wood, and he speaketh unto me, `This the table that before Jehovah.'

L’altare era di legno, alto tre cubiti, lungo due cubiti; aveva degli angoli; le sue pareti, per tutta la lunghezza, erano di legno. L’uomo mi disse: «Questa è la tavola che sta davanti al Signore ».

23 A nd two doors to the temple and to the sanctuary;

Il tempio e il santuario avevano due porte;

24 a nd two leaves to the doors, two turning leaves to the doors, two to the one door, and two leaves to the other.

ogni porta aveva due battenti, due battenti che si piegavano in due pezzi, due pezzi per ogni battente.

25 A nd made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubs and palm-trees as are made on the walls, and a thickness of wood at the front of the porch on the outside.

Su di esse, sulle porte del tempio, erano scolpiti dei cherubini e delle palme, come quelli sulle pareti. Sulla facciata del vestibolo, all’esterno, c’era una tettoia di legno.

26 A nd narrow windows and palm-trees on this side, and on that side, at the sides of the porch, and the side-chambers of the house, and the thick places.

C’erano delle finestre a grate e delle palme da ogni lato, alle pareti laterali del vestibolo, alle camere laterali della casa e alle tettoie.
