1 A nd Jehovah calleth unto Moses, and speaketh unto him out of the tent of meeting, saying,

Il Signore chiamò Mosè, gli parlò dalla tenda di convegno e gli disse:

2 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, Any man of you when he doth bring near an offering to Jehovah, out of the cattle -- out of the herd, or out of the flock -- ye do bring near your offering.

«Parla ai figli d’Israele e di’ loro: “Quando qualcuno di voi vorrà portare un’offerta al Signore, offrirete bestiame grosso o minuto.

3 ` If his offering a burnt-offering out of the herd -- a male, a perfect one, he doth bring near, unto the opening of the tent of meeting he doth bring it near, at his pleasure, before Jehovah;

Se la sua offerta è un olocausto di bestiame grosso, offrirà un maschio senza difetto: l’offrirà all’ingresso della tenda di convegno, per ottenere il favore del Signore.

4 a nd he hath laid his hand on the head of the burnt-offering, and it hath been accepted for him to make atonement for him;

Poserà la mano sulla testa dell’olocausto, e il Signore lo accetterà come espiazione.

5 a nd he hath slaughtered the son of the herd before Jehovah; and sons of Aaron, the priests, have brought the blood near, and sprinkled the blood on the altar round about, which at the opening of the tent of meeting.

Poi sgozzerà il vitello davanti al Signore e i sacerdoti, figli di Aaronne, offriranno il sangue e lo spargeranno sull’altare, da ogni lato, all’ingresso della tenda di convegno.

6 ` And he hath stripped the burnt-offering, and hath cut it into its pieces;

Poi scuoierà l’olocausto e lo taglierà a pezzi.

7 a nd the sons of Aaron the priest have put fire on the altar, and arranged wood on the fire;

I figli del sacerdote Aaronne metteranno del fuoco sull’altare e disporranno della legna sul fuoco.

8 a nd sons of Aaron, the priests, have arranged the pieces, with the head and the fat, on the wood, which on the fire, which on the altar;

Poi i sacerdoti, figli di Aaronne, disporranno quei pezzi, la testa e il grasso, sulla legna messa sul fuoco che è sull’altare;

9 a nd its inwards and its legs he doth wash with water; and the priest hath made perfume with the whole on the altar, a burnt-offering, a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah.

ma laverà con acqua le interiora e le zampe, e il sacerdote farà fumare ogni cosa sull’altare, come olocausto, sacrificio di profumo soave, consumato dal fuoco per il Signore.

10 ` And if his offering out of the flock -- out of the sheep or out of the goats -- for a burnt-offering, a male, a perfect one, he doth bring near,

Se la sua offerta è un olocausto di bestiame minuto, pecore o capre, offrirà un maschio senza difetto.

11 a nd he hath slaughtered it by the side of the altar northward, before Jehovah; and sons of Aaron, the priests, have sprinkled its blood on the altar round about;

Lo sgozzerà dal lato settentrionale dell’altare davanti al Signore; i sacerdoti, figli di Aaronne, ne spargeranno il sangue sull’altare da ogni lato.

12 a nd he hath cut it into its pieces, and its head and its fat, and the priest hath arranged them on the wood, which on the fire, which on the altar;

Poi lo taglierà a pezzi e, insieme con la testa e il grasso, il sacerdote li disporrà sulla legna messa sul fuoco sopra l’altare.

13 a nd the inwards and the legs he doth wash with water, and the priest hath brought the whole near, and hath made perfume on the altar; it a burnt-offering, a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah.

Ma laverà con acqua le interiora e le zampe; poi il sacerdote offrirà ogni cosa e la brucerà sull’altare. Questo è un olocausto, un sacrificio di profumo soave, consumato dal fuoco per il Signore.

14 ` And if his offering a burnt-offering out of the fowl to Jehovah, than he hath brought near his offering out of the turtle-doves or out of the young pigeons,

«“Se la sua offerta al Signore è un olocausto di uccelli, offrirà delle tortore o dei giovani piccioni.

15 a nd the priest hath brought it near unto the altar, and hath wrung off its head, and hath made perfume on the altar, and its blood hath been wrung out by the side of the altar;

Il sacerdote offrirà in sacrificio l’uccello sull’altare, gli staccherà la testa, la brucerà sull’altare, e il sangue sarà fatto colare sopra uno dei lati dell’altare.

16 a nd he hath turned aside its crop with its feathers, and hath cast it near the altar, eastward, unto the place of ashes;

Poi gli toglierà il gozzo con quel che contiene, e lo getterà sul lato orientale dell’altare, nel luogo delle ceneri.

17 a nd he hath cleaved it with its wings (he doth not separate ), and the priest hath made it a perfume on the altar, on the wood, which on the fire; it a burnt-offering, a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah.

Spaccherà quindi l’uccello per le ali, senza però dividerlo in due, e il sacerdote lo brucerà sull’altare, sulla legna messa sopra il fuoco. Questo è un olocausto, un sacrificio di profumo soave, consumato dal fuoco per il Signore.
