1 A nd Moses goeth up from the plains of Moab unto mount Nebo, the top of Pisgah, which on the front of Jericho, and Jehovah sheweth him all the land -- Gilead unto Dan,

Moisés subió desde los campos de Moab hasta el monte Nebo, hasta la cumbre del Pisga, que está enfrente de Jericó, y allí el Señor le mostró toda la tierra, desde Galaad hasta Dan,

2 a nd all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah unto the further sea,

y todo Neftalí, y también la tierra de Efraín y de Manasés, es decir, toda la tierra de Judá hasta el mar occidental,

3 a nd the south, and the circuit of the valley of Jericho, the city of palms, unto Zoar.

el Néguev y la llanura, el llano de Jericó y la ciudad de las palmeras, hasta Soar.

4 A nd Jehovah saith unto him, `This the land which I have sworn to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, To thy seed I give it; I have caused thee to see with thine eyes, and thither thou dost not pass over.'

Allí el Señor le dijo: «Ésta es la tierra que juré dar a los descendientes de Abrahán, Isaac y Jacob. Te he permitido verla con tus propios ojos, pero no entrarás en ella.»

5 A nd Moses, servant of the Lord, dieth there, in the land of Moab, according to the command of Jehovah;

Allí, en la tierra de Moab, murió Moisés, el siervo del Señor, conforme a lo que el Señor había dicho,

6 a nd He burieth him in a valley in the land of Moab, over-against Beth-Peor, and no man hath known his burying place unto this day.

y allí mismo lo enterró, en el valle, en la tierra de Moab, frente a Bet Pegor, y hasta el día de hoy nadie conoce el lugar donde fue sepultado.

7 A nd Moses a son of a hundred and twenty years when he dieth; his eye hath not become dim, nor hath his moisture fled.

Cuando Moisés murió, tenía ciento veinte años de edad; pero sus ojos nunca se le nublaron, ni perdió su vigor.

8 A nd the sons of Israel bewail Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days; and the days of weeping mourning for Moses are completed.

Los hijos de Israel lloraron a Moisés en los campos de Moab durante treinta días. Así se cumplieron los días de llanto y de luto por la muerte de Moisés.

9 A nd Joshua son of Nun is full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands upon him, and the sons of Israel hearken unto him, and do as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Como Moisés puso sus manos sobre Josué hijo de Nun, éste fue lleno de espíritu de sabiduría, y los hijos de Israel le obedecieron e hicieron lo que el Señor le había ordenado a Moisés.

10 A nd there hath not arisen a prophet any more in Israel like Moses, whom Jehovah hath known face unto face,

Nunca más surgió en Israel un profeta que, como Moisés, hubiera conocido al Señor cara a cara.

11 i n reference to all the signs and the wonders which Jehovah sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

Nadie le igualó en todas las señales y prodigios que el Señor le mandó hacer en Egipto, contra el faraón y contra todos sus siervos y su país,

12 a nd in reference to all the strong hand, and to all the great fear which Moses did before the eyes of all Israel.

ni en el gran poder y en los hechos grandiosos y terribles que hizo a la vista de todo Israel.
