1 A nd thou, son of man, prophesy concerning Gog, and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I against thee, O Gog, Prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal,

»Tú, hijo de hombre, profetiza contra Gog y dile que así ha dicho Dios el Señor: “Escucha, Gog, príncipe soberano de Mesec y Tubal: Yo estoy contra ti.

2 A nd have turned thee back, and enticed thee, And caused thee to come up from the sides of the north, And brought thee in against mountains of Israel,

Voy a quebrantarte. Voy a hacerte venir del norte para que ataques a los montes de Israel,

3 A nd have smitten thy bow out of thy left hand, Yea, thine arrows out of thy right I cause to fall.

pero allí te arrancaré el arco que llevas en la mano izquierda, y te quitaré las flechas que llevas en la mano derecha,

4 O n mountains of Israel thou fallest, Thou, and all thy bands, and the peoples who with thee, To ravenous fowl -- a bird of every wing, And a beast of the field, I have given thee for food.

y tú y todas tus tropas, y los ejércitos que están contigo caerán sobre los montes de Israel. ¡Voy a entregarte a las aves de rapiña de toda especie, y a las fieras salvajes, para que te devoren!

5 O n the face of the field thou fallest, for I have spoken, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

Y quedarás tendido en el campo, porque yo lo he dicho. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

6 A nd I have sent a fire against Magog, And against the confident inhabitants of the isles, And they have known that I Jehovah.

”Yo dejaré caer fuego sobre Magog y sobre los tranquilos habitantes de las costas. Así sabrán que yo soy el Señor.

7 A nd My holy name I make known in the midst of My people Israel, And I pollute not My holy name any more, And known have the nations that I, Jehovah, the Holy One, in Israel.

”Yo daré a conocer mi santo nombre en medio de mi pueblo Israel, y nunca más permitiré que mi santo nombre sea profanado. Así sabrán las naciones que yo soy el Señor, el Santo de Israel.

8 L o, it hath come, and it hath been done, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, It the day of which I spake.

Ya viene el día del cual he hablado. Ese día se cumplirá. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

9 A nd gone out have the inhabitants of cities of Israel, And they have burned and kindled, With armour, and shield, and buckler, With bow, and with arrows, And with hand-staves, and with javelins, And they have caused a fire to burn with them seven years,

”Los habitantes de las ciudades de Israel saldrán y les prenderán fuego a las armas: escudos, paveses, arcos y flechas, lanzas y dardos de mano arderán en el fuego durante siete años.

10 A nd they do not take wood out of the field, Nor do they hew out of the forests, For with armour they cause the fire to burn, And they have spoiled their spoilers, And they have plundered their plunderers, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

No tendrán que cortar ni acarrear leña del bosque, sino que echarán las armas al fuego, y despojarán y robarán a quienes antes les robaron y despojaron de todo. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

11 A nd it hath come to pass, in that day, I give to Gog a place there -- a grave in Israel, the valley of those passing by, east of the sea, and it is stopping those passing by, and they have buried there Gog, and all his multitude, and have cried, O valley of the multitude of Gog!

”Cuando llegue el día, abriré en Israel un sepulcro para Gog, y lo sepultaré allí, al oriente del mar, en el Valle de los Viajeros. Como esto les cerrará el paso a los que pasen por allí, lo llamarán Valle de Gamón Gog, porque allí enterrarán a Gog y a todo su ejército.

12 A nd the house of Israel have buried them -- in order to cleanse the land -- seven months.

Para limpiar la tierra, el pueblo de Israel tardará siete meses para enterrarlos.

13 Y ea, all the people of the land have buried them, and it hath been to them for a name -- the day of My being honoured -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

Todo el pueblo de la tierra participará en ese entierro, y ese día yo seré glorificado, y para ellos será un día memorable. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

14 A nd men for continual employment they separate, passing on through the land, burying with those passing by those who are left on the face of the earth, to cleanse it: at the end of seven months they search.

”Al cabo de siete meses se hará un reconocimiento. Se contratará gente que recorra el país para enterrar a los que aún queden tendidos en el suelo, y así limpiar la tierra.

15 A nd those passing by have passed through the land, and seen a bone of man, and one hath constructed near it a sign till those burying have buried it in the valley of the multitude of Gog.

Cuando en su recorrido esa gente vea los huesos de algún cadáver, pondrá a su lado una señal, la cual permanecerá allí, hasta que los sepultureros los entierren en el Valle de Gamón Gog.

16 A nd also the name of the city The multitude; and they have cleansed the land.

Así se limpiará la tierra, y la ciudad se llamará también Hamona.”»

17 A nd thou, son of man, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Say to the bird -- every wing, and to every beast of the field: Be assembled and come in, Be gathered from round about, For My sacrifice that I am sacrificing for you, A great sacrifice on mountains of Israel, And ye have eaten flesh, and drunk blood.

Así ha dicho Dios el Señor: «Hijo de hombre, diles a las aves de toda especie, y a todas las fieras salvajes, que se junten de todas partes y vengan acá, a participar del gran sacrificio que voy a ofrecerles sobre los montes de Israel. Van a comer carne y a beber sangre.

18 F lesh of the mighty ye do eat, And blood of princes of the earth ye drink, Of rams, of lambs, and of he-goats, Of calves, fatlings of Bashan -- all of them.

Comerán la carne de guerreros, y beberán la sangre de príncipes de la tierra, y de carneros, corderos, machos cabríos, bueyes y toros, todos ellos engordados en Basán.

19 A nd ye have eaten fat to satiety, And ye have drunk blood -- to drunkenness, Of My sacrifice that I sacrificed for you.

Comerán grasa hasta quedar hastiados, y beberán hasta embriagarse la sangre de las víctimas que sacrifiqué para ellos.

20 A nd ye have been satisfied at My table with horse and rider, Mighty man, and every man of war, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

En ese banquete que les ofreceré se saciarán de caballos y de aguerridos jinetes, y de toda clase de hombres de guerra. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

21 A nd I have given My honour among nations, And seen have all the nations My Judgment that I have done, And My hand that I have laid on them.

»Pondré mi gloria entre las naciones, y todas las naciones me verán sentenciarlos y darles su merecido.

22 A nd known have the house of Israel that I Jehovah their God, From that day and henceforth.

A partir de ese día, el pueblo de Israel sabrá que yo soy el Señor su Dios.

23 A nd known have the nations that for their iniquity, Removed have the house of Israel, Because they have trespassed against Me, And I do hide My face from them, And give them into the hand of their adversaries, And they fall by sword -- all of them.

También sabrán las naciones que el pueblo de Israel fue llevado al cautiverio por causa de su pecado, pues yo les di la espalda y los entregué en manos de sus enemigos, y todos cayeron a filo de espada, porque se rebelaron contra mí.

24 A ccording to their uncleanness, And according to their transgressions, I have done with them, And I do hide My face from them.

Yo les di la espalda y los traté conforme a su inmundicia y conforme a sus rebeliones.»

25 T herefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Now do I bring back the captivity of Jacob, And I have pitied all the house of Israel, And have been zealous for My holy name.

Por lo tanto, así ha dicho Dios el Señor: «Ahora voy a cambiar la suerte de Jacob. Voy a tener misericordia de todo el pueblo de Israel, y a mostrarme celoso de mi santo nombre.

26 A nd they have forgotten their shame, And all their trespass that they trespassed against Me, In their dwelling on their land confidently and none troubling.

Cuando ya vivan tranquilos en su tierra y no haya quien los espante, sentirán vergüenza por todas sus rebeliones y por haber pecado contra mí.

27 I n My bringing them back from the peoples, I have assembled them from the lands of their enemies, And I have been sanctified in them before the eyes of the many nations,

Cuando yo los reúna y los haga salir de entre los pueblos de sus enemigos, y sea yo santificado en ellos a la vista de muchas naciones,

28 A nd they have known that I Jehovah their God, In My removing them unto the nations, And I have gathered them unto their land, And I leave none of them any more there.

y cuando después de haberlos llevado al cautiverio entre las naciones los reúna en su tierra, sin dejar allá a ninguno de ellos, sabrán que yo soy el Señor su Dios.

29 A nd I hide not any more My face from them, In that I have poured out My spirit on the house of Israel, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'

No volveré a darles la espalda, porque habré derramado mi espíritu sobre el pueblo de Israel.» Palabra de Dios el Señor.
