1 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Now dost thou see that which I do to Pharaoh, for with a strong hand he doth send them away, yea, with a strong hand he doth cast them out of his land.'

El Señor respondió a Moisés: «Ahora verás lo que voy a hacer con el faraón. Sólo con mano fuerte los dejará ir, y con mano fuerte los echará fuera de su tierra.»

2 A nd God speaketh unto Moses, and saith unto him, `I Jehovah,

Dios volvió a hablar con Moisés, y le dijo: «Yo soy EL SEÑOR.

3 a nd I appear unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; as to My name Jehovah, I have not been known to them;

Me aparecí a Abrahán, Isaac y Jacob como “Dios Omnipotente”, pero con el nombre de SEÑOR no me di a conocer a ellos.

4 a nd also I have established My covenant with them, to give to them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they have sojourned;

También establecí con ellos mi pacto de darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra donde vivieron como extranjeros.

5 a nd also I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians are causing to serve, and I remember My covenant.

Así mismo, he oído el gemido de los hijos de Israel, a quienes los egipcios obligan a trabajar, y me he acordado de mi pacto.

6 ` Therefore say to the sons of Israel, I Jehovah, and I have brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and have delivered you from their service, and have redeemed you by a stretched-out arm, and by great judgments,

Por lo tanto, diles a los hijos de Israel: “Yo soy EL SEÑOR. Yo los voy a librar de los trabajos pesados en Egipto. Voy a liberarlos de su esclavitud. Con brazo extendido y con grandes juicios les daré libertad.

7 a nd have taken you to Me for a people, and I have been to you for God, and ye have known that I Jehovah your God, who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;

Los tomaré como mi pueblo, y seré su Dios; y ustedes sabrán que yo soy el Señor, su Dios, que los libró de los trabajos pesados en Egipto.

8 a nd I have brought you in unto the land which I have lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and have given it to you -- a possession; I Jehovah.'

Voy a llevarlos a la tierra por la cual levanté mi mano y juré que se la daría a Abrahán, Isaac y Jacob. Yo les daré esa tierra en propiedad. Yo soy EL SEÑOR.”»

9 A nd Moses speaketh so unto the sons of Israel, and they hearkened not unto Moses, for anguish of spirit, and for harsh service.

Esto mismo les dijo Moisés a los hijos de Israel, pero ellos no le hicieron caso debido a su espíritu acongojado y a la crueldad de su esclavitud.

10 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Entonces el Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

11 ` Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he doth send the sons of Israel out of his land;

«Ve y habla con el faraón, el rey de Egipto. Dile que deje ir de su país a los hijos de Israel.»

12 a nd Moses speaketh before Jehovah, saying, `Lo, the sons of Israel have not hearkened unto me, and how doth Pharaoh hear me, and I of uncircumcised lips?'

Pero Moisés se encaró con el Señor y le respondió: «Como sabes, los hijos de Israel no me hacen caso. Entonces, ¿cómo va a hacerme caso el faraón, si yo soy torpe de labios?»

13 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and chargeth them for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt.

El Señor habló con Moisés y Aarón, y les dio una orden para los hijos de Israel y para el faraón, rey de Egipto: tenían que sacar de Egipto a los hijos de Israel.

14 T hese heads of the house of their fathers: Sons of Reuben first-born of Israel Hanoch, and Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these families of Reuben.

Éstos son los jefes de familia de sus antepasados: De los hijos de Rubén, el primogénito de Israel, sus familias fueron: Janoc, Falú, Jesrón y Carmi.

15 A nd sons of Simeon Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, son of the Canaanitess: these families of Simeon.

De los hijos de Simeón, sus familias fueron: Jemuel, Jamín, Oad, Jaquín, Sojar, y Saúl, que fue hijo de una cananea.

16 A nd these the names of the sons of Levi, as to their births: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi a hundred and thirty and seven years.

Leví llegó a vivir ciento treinta y siete años. Éstos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví, según sus linajes: Gersón, Coat y Merari.

17 T he sons of Gershon Libni, and Shimi, as to their families.

Los hijos de Gersón fueron Libni y Simey, según sus familias.

18 A nd the sons of Kohath Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath a hundred and thirty and three years.

Los hijos de Coat fueron Amirán, Isar, Hebrón y Uziel. Coat llegó a vivir ciento treinta y tres años.

19 A nd the sons of Merari Mahli and Mushi: these families of Levi, as to their births.

Los hijos de Merari fueron Mali y Musi. Éstas son las familias de Leví, según sus linajes.

20 A nd Amram taketh Jochebed his aunt to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram a hundred and thirty and seven years.

Amirán tomó por mujer a su tía Jocabed, la cual dio a luz a Aarón y a Moisés. Amirán llegó a vivir ciento treinta y siete años.

21 A nd sons of Izhar Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

Los hijos de Isar fueron Coré, Nefeg y Zicri.

22 A nd sons of Uzziel Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

Los hijos de Uziel fueron Misael, Elzafán y Sitri.

23 A nd Aaron taketh Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Aarón tomó por mujer a Elisabet, hija de Aminadab y hermana de Nasón, la cual dio a luz a Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

24 A nd sons of Korah Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these families of the Korhite.

Los hijos de Coré fueron Asir, Elcana y Abiasaf. Éstas son las familias de los coreítas.

25 A nd Eleazar, Aaron's son, hath taken to him of the daughters of Putiel for a wife to himself, and she beareth to him Phinehas: these heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.

Eleazar hijo de Aarón tomó por mujer a una de las hijas de Futiel, la cual dio a luz a Finés. Éstos son los jefes de los antepasados de los levitas, según sus familias.

26 T his Aaron -- and Moses -- to whom Jehovah said, `Bring ye out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts;'

A este Aarón y a este Moisés el Señor les dijo: «Saquen de Egipto a los hijos de Israel en orden de batalla.»

27 t hese are they who are speaking unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt, this Moses -- and Aaron.

Estos Moisés y Aarón fueron los que hablaron con el faraón, rey de Egipto, para sacar de Egipto a los hijos de Israel.

28 A nd it cometh to pass in the day of Jehovah's speaking unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

Cuando el Señor habló con Moisés en la tierra de Egipto,

29 t hat Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying, `I Jehovah, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am speaking unto thee.'

le dijo: «Yo soy EL SEÑOR. Habla con el faraón, rey de Egipto, y repítele todo lo que yo te he dicho a ti.»

30 A nd Moses saith before Jehovah, `Lo, I of uncircumcised lips, and how doth Pharaoh hearken unto me?'

Pero Moisés se encaró con el Señor y le respondió: «Como sabes, yo soy torpe de labios, así que ¿cómo va a hacerme caso el faraón?»
