1 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Now dost thou see that which I do to Pharaoh, for with a strong hand he doth send them away, yea, with a strong hand he doth cast them out of his land.'

L'Eterno disse a Mosè: «Ora vedrai che cosa farò al Faraone; poiché costretto da una mano potente li lascerà andare; sì, costretto da una mano potente li caccerà dal suo paese».

2 A nd God speaketh unto Moses, and saith unto him, `I Jehovah,

DIO parlò quindi a Mosè e gli disse: «Io sono l'Eterno,

3 a nd I appear unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; as to My name Jehovah, I have not been known to them;

e sono apparso ad Abrahamo, a Isacco e a Giacobbe, come Dio onnipotente; ma non mi ero mai fatto conoscere da loro con il mio nome di Eterno.

4 a nd also I have established My covenant with them, to give to them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they have sojourned;

Ho pure stabilito con loro il mio patto, promettendo di dar loro il paese di Canaan, il paese dove soggiornarono come stranieri.

5 a nd also I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians are causing to serve, and I remember My covenant.

Ho pure udito il lamento dei figli d'Israele che gli Egiziani tengono in schiavitú e mi sono ricordato del mio patto.

6 ` Therefore say to the sons of Israel, I Jehovah, and I have brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and have delivered you from their service, and have redeemed you by a stretched-out arm, and by great judgments,

Perciò di' ai figli d'Israele: "Io sono l'Eterno; vi sottrarrò dai duri lavori imposti su di voi dagli Egiziani, vi libererò dalla loro schiavitú e vi riscatterò con braccio steso e con grandi castighi.

7 a nd have taken you to Me for a people, and I have been to you for God, and ye have known that I Jehovah your God, who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;

Vi prenderò per mio popolo, e sarò il vostro DIO; e voi conoscerete che io sono l'Eterno, il vostro DIO, che vi sottrae ai duri lavori impostivi dagli Egiziani.

8 a nd I have brought you in unto the land which I have lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and have given it to you -- a possession; I Jehovah.'

E vi farò entrare nel paese, che giurai di dare ad Abrahamo, a Isacco e a Giacobbe; e ve lo darò in eredità. Io sono l'Eterno"».

9 A nd Moses speaketh so unto the sons of Israel, and they hearkened not unto Moses, for anguish of spirit, and for harsh service.

Così parlò Mosè ai figli d'Israele; ma essi non diedero ascolto a Mosè, per l'angoscia di spirito e per la dura schiavitú.

10 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

L'Eterno parlò ancora a Mosè, dicendo:

11 ` Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he doth send the sons of Israel out of his land;

12 a nd Moses speaketh before Jehovah, saying, `Lo, the sons of Israel have not hearkened unto me, and how doth Pharaoh hear me, and I of uncircumcised lips?'

Ma Mosè parlò davanti all'Eterno e disse: «Ecco, i figli d'Israele non mi hanno dato ascolto; come dunque potrebbe Faraone ascoltare me, che sono incirconciso di labbra?».

13 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and chargeth them for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt.

Ma l'Eterno parlò a Mosè e ad Aaronne e comandò loro di andare dai figli d'Israele e dal Faraone re d'Egitto, per far uscire i figli d'Israele dal paese d'Egitto.

14 T hese heads of the house of their fathers: Sons of Reuben first-born of Israel Hanoch, and Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these families of Reuben.

Questi sono i capi delle loro famiglie. I figli di Ruben, il primogenito d'Israele furono: Hanok e Pallu, Hetsron e Karmi. Queste furono le famiglie di Ruben.

15 A nd sons of Simeon Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, son of the Canaanitess: these families of Simeon.

I figli di Simeone furono: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jakin, Tsohar e Saul, figlio della Cananea. Queste furono le famiglie di Simeone.

16 A nd these the names of the sons of Levi, as to their births: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi a hundred and thirty and seven years.

Questi sono i nomi dei figli di Levi, secondo le loro generazioni: Ghershom, Kehath e Merari. E gli anni della vita di Levi furono centotrentasette.

17 T he sons of Gershon Libni, and Shimi, as to their families.

I figli di Ghershom furono: Libni e Scimei. con le loro famiglie.

18 A nd the sons of Kohath Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath a hundred and thirty and three years.

I figli di Kehath furono: Amram, Jitshar, Hebron e Uzziel. E gli anni della vita di Kehath furono centotrentatre.

19 A nd the sons of Merari Mahli and Mushi: these families of Levi, as to their births.

I figli di Merari furono: Mahli e Musci. Queste furono le famiglie dei Leviti secondo le loro generazioni.

20 A nd Amram taketh Jochebed his aunt to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram a hundred and thirty and seven years.

Or Amram prese in moglie Jokebeda, sorella di suo padre; ed ella gli partorì Aaronne e Mosè. E gli anni della vita di Amram furono centotrentasette.

21 A nd sons of Izhar Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

I figli di Itshar furono: Kore, Nefeg e Zicri.

22 A nd sons of Uzziel Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

I figli di Uziel furono: Mishael, Eltsafan e Sitri.

23 A nd Aaron taketh Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Aaronne prese in moglie Elisceba, figlia di Amminadab, sorella di Nahashon; ed ella gli partorì Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar e Ithamar.

24 A nd sons of Korah Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these families of the Korhite.

I figli di Kore furono: Assir, Elkanah e Abiasaf. Queste furono le famiglie di Kore.

25 A nd Eleazar, Aaron's son, hath taken to him of the daughters of Putiel for a wife to himself, and she beareth to him Phinehas: these heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.

Eleazar, figlio di Aaronne, prese in moglie una delle figlie di Putiel; ed ella gli partorì Fineas. Questi furono i capi dei padri dei Leviti nelle loro famiglie.

26 T his Aaron -- and Moses -- to whom Jehovah said, `Bring ye out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts;'

E questi sono lo stesso Aaronne e Mosè, ai quali l'Eterno disse: «Fate uscire i figli d'Israele dal paese d'Egitto, secondo le loro schiere».

27 t hese are they who are speaking unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt, this Moses -- and Aaron.

Essi sono quelli che parlarono al Faraone re d'Egitto per far uscire i figli d'Israele dall'Egitto; essi sono o stesso Mosè ed Aaronne.

28 A nd it cometh to pass in the day of Jehovah's speaking unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

Or avvenne nel giorno in cui l'Eterno parlò a Mosè nel paese d'Egitto,

29 t hat Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying, `I Jehovah, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am speaking unto thee.'

che l'Eterno parlò a Mosè e disse: «Io sono l'Eterno! Di' al Faraone, re d'Egitto, tutto quello che io ti dico».

30 A nd Moses saith before Jehovah, `Lo, I of uncircumcised lips, and how doth Pharaoh hearken unto me?'

Mosè allora rispose davanti all'Eterno: «Ecco, io sono incirconciso di labbra; come potrà quindi il Faraone ascoltarmi».
