1 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Now dost thou see that which I do to Pharaoh, for with a strong hand he doth send them away, yea, with a strong hand he doth cast them out of his land.'

І сказав Господь до Мойсея: Тепер побачиш, що вчиню Я фараонові, бо він, змушений рукою сильною, їх відпустить, і, змушений рукою сильною, вижене їх із краю свого.

2 A nd God speaketh unto Moses, and saith unto him, `I Jehovah,

І говорив Бог до Мойсея, та й сказав йому: Я Господь!

3 a nd I appear unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; as to My name Jehovah, I have not been known to them;

І являвся Я Авраамові, Ісакові та Яковові Богом Всемогутнім, але Йменням Своїм Господь Я не дався їм пізнати.

4 a nd also I have established My covenant with them, to give to them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they have sojourned;

А також Я склав був із ними Свого заповіта, що дам їм землю ханаанську, землю їх мандрування, в якій вони мандрували.

5 a nd also I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians are causing to serve, and I remember My covenant.

І почув Я теж стогін синів Ізраїлевих, що єгиптяни роблять їх своїми рабами, і згадав заповіта Свого.

6 ` Therefore say to the sons of Israel, I Jehovah, and I have brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and have delivered you from their service, and have redeemed you by a stretched-out arm, and by great judgments,

Тому скажи синам Ізраїлевим: Я Господь! І Я виведу вас з-під тягарів Єгипту, і визволю вас від їхньої роботи, і звільню вас витягненим раменом та великими присудами.

7 a nd have taken you to Me for a people, and I have been to you for God, and ye have known that I Jehovah your God, who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;

І візьму вас Собі за народа, і буду вам Богом, і ви познаєте, що Я Господь, Бог ваш, що виводить вас із-під тягарів Єгипту!

8 a nd I have brought you in unto the land which I have lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and have given it to you -- a possession; I Jehovah.'

І введу вас до того Краю, що про нього Я підняв був Свою руку, щоб дати його Авраамові, Ісакові та Якову. І Я дам його вам на спадщину. Я Господь!

9 A nd Moses speaketh so unto the sons of Israel, and they hearkened not unto Moses, for anguish of spirit, and for harsh service.

І так говорив Мойсей до синів Ізраїлевих, та вони не слухали Мойсея через легкодухість та тяжку роботу.

10 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

І казав Господь до Мойсея, говорячи:

11 ` Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he doth send the sons of Israel out of his land;

Увійди, говори до фараона, царя єгипетського, і нехай він відпустить Ізраїлевих синів із свого краю.

12 a nd Moses speaketh before Jehovah, saying, `Lo, the sons of Israel have not hearkened unto me, and how doth Pharaoh hear me, and I of uncircumcised lips?'

І казав Мойсей перед лицем Господнім, говорячи: Таж Ізраїлеві сини не слухали мене, як же послухає мене фараон? А я необрізановустий!

13 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and chargeth them for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt.

І казав Господь до Мойсея та до Аарона, і дав їм накази до Ізраїлевих синів та до фараона, царя єгипетського, щоб вивести Ізраїлевих синів з єгипетського краю.

14 T hese heads of the house of their fathers: Sons of Reuben first-born of Israel Hanoch, and Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these families of Reuben.

Оце голови батьківських домів їхніх. Сини Рувима, перворідного Ізраїлевого: Ханох і Паллу, Хецрон і Кармі, це родини Рувимові.

15 A nd sons of Simeon Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, son of the Canaanitess: these families of Simeon.

А сини Симеонові: Ємуїл, і Ямін, і Огад, і Яхін, і Цохар, і Шаул, син ханаанеянки, це родини Симеонові.

16 A nd these the names of the sons of Levi, as to their births: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi a hundred and thirty and seven years.

А оце імена синів Левієвих за їхніми родинами: Ґершон, і Кегат, і Мерарі. А літа життя Левієвого сто і тридцять і сім літ.

17 T he sons of Gershon Libni, and Shimi, as to their families.

Сини Ґершонові: Лівні, і Шім'ї за їхніми родинами.

18 A nd the sons of Kohath Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath a hundred and thirty and three years.

А сини Кегатові: Амрам, і Їцгар, і Хеврон, і Уззіїл. А літа життя Кегатового сто і тридцять і три роки.

19 A nd the sons of Merari Mahli and Mushi: these families of Levi, as to their births.

А сини Мерарі: Махлі та Муші. Оце родини Левієві за їхніми родами.

20 A nd Amram taketh Jochebed his aunt to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram a hundred and thirty and seven years.

І взяв Амрам свою тітку Йохевед собі за жінку, і вона породила йому Аарона та Мойсея. А літа життя Амрамового сто і тридцять і сім літ.

21 A nd sons of Izhar Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

А сини Їцгарові: Корах, і Нефеґ, і Зіхрі.

22 A nd sons of Uzziel Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

А сини Уззіїлові: Мішаїл, і Елцафан, і Сітрі.

23 A nd Aaron taketh Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

І взяв Аарон Елішеву, дочку Амінадавову, сестру Нахшонову, собі за жінку, і вона породила йому Надава, і Авігу, і Елеазара, і Ітамара.

24 A nd sons of Korah Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these families of the Korhite.

А сини Корахові: Ассир, і Елкана, і Аваасаф, це родини Корахові.

25 A nd Eleazar, Aaron's son, hath taken to him of the daughters of Putiel for a wife to himself, and she beareth to him Phinehas: these heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.

А Елеазар, син Ааронів, узяв собі з дочок Путіїлових за жінку, і вона породила йому Пінхаса. Оце голови батьківських домів Левітів за їхніми родинами.

26 T his Aaron -- and Moses -- to whom Jehovah said, `Bring ye out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts;'

Оце Аарон і Мойсей, що Господь говорив їм: Виведіть Ізраїлевих синів з єгипетського краю за їхніми військовими відділами.

27 t hese are they who are speaking unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt, this Moses -- and Aaron.

Вони ті, що говорили до фараона, царя єгипетського, щоб вивести Ізраїлевих синів з Єгипту, це Мойсей та Аарон.

28 A nd it cometh to pass in the day of Jehovah's speaking unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

І сталося в дні, коли Господь говорив до Мойсея в єгипетськім краї,

29 t hat Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying, `I Jehovah, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am speaking unto thee.'

то казав Господь до Мойсея, говорячи: Я Господь! Говори фараонові, цареві єгипетському, усе, що Я говорю тобі.

30 A nd Moses saith before Jehovah, `Lo, I of uncircumcised lips, and how doth Pharaoh hearken unto me?'

І сказав Мойсей перед обличчям Господнім: Таж я необрізановустий! Як же слухати буде мене фараон?
