1 A nd he causeth me to turn back the way of the gate of the outer sanctuary that is looking eastward, and it is shut.

І вернув мене в напрямі брами зовнішньої святині, що обернена на схід, а вона замкнена.

2 A nd Jehovah saith unto me, `This gate is shut, it is not opened, and none doth go in by it, for Jehovah, God of Israel, hath come in by it, and it hath been shut.

І сказав мені Господь: Брама ця буде замкнена, не буде відчинена, і ніхто не ввійде в неї, бо в неї ввійшов Господь, Бог Ізраїлів, і вона буде замкнена.

3 T he prince, who prince, he sitteth by it to eat bread before Jehovah, by the way of the porch of the gate he cometh in, and by its way he goeth out.'

Князь, сам князь буде сидіти в ній, щоб їсти хліб перед Господнім лицем; сіньми брами він увійде, і сіньми вийде.

4 A nd he bringeth me in the way of the north gate unto the front of the house, and I look, and lo, filled hath the honour of Jehovah the house of Jehovah, and I fall on my face.

І випровадив мене в напрямі північної брами до переду храму, і побачив я, аж ось слава Господня наповнила Господній дім! І впав я на обличчя своє...

5 A nd Jehovah saith unto me, `Son of man, set thy heart, and see with thine eyes, and with thine ears hear, all that I am speaking with thee, of all the statutes of the house of Jehovah, and of all its laws; and thou hast set thy heart to the entrance of the house, with all the outlets of the sanctuary,

І сказав мені Господь: Сину людський, зверни своє серце, і побач своїми очима, а своїми вухами послухай усе, що Я говоритиму з тобою щодо всіх постанов Господнього дому, і щодо всяких законів його, і звернеш своє серце до входу того храму в усіх виходах святині.

6 a nd hast said unto the rebellious, unto the house of Israel: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Enough to you -- of all your abominations, O house of Israel.

І скажеш до ворохобників, до Ізраїлевого дому: Так говорить Господь Бог: Досить вам усіх ваших гидот, Ізраїлів доме,

7 I n your bringing in sons of a stranger, uncircumcised of heart, and uncircumcised of flesh, to be in My sanctuary, to pollute it, even My house, in your bringing near My bread, fat, and blood, and they break My covenant by all your abominations,

що ви вводили чужинців, необрізаносердих та необрізанотілих, щоб були в Моїй святині, щоб зневажити його, Мій храм, коли приносили Мій хліб, лій та кров, і, крім усіх ваших гидот, зламали Мого заповіта.

8 a nd ye have not kept the charge of My holy things, and ye set for keepers of My charge in My sanctuary for you.

І ви не несли сторожі святощів Моїх, але поставили їх собі за сторожів Моєї варти в Моїй святині.

9 ` Thus said the Lord Jehovah: No son of a stranger, uncircumcised of heart, and uncircumcised of flesh, cometh in unto My sanctuary, even any son of a stranger, who in the midst of the sons of Israel,

Так говорить Господь Бог: Кожен чужинець, необрізаносердий та необрізанотілий не ввійде до Моєї святині; це і про всякого чужинця, що живе серед Ізраїлевих синів.

10 b ut -- the Levites who have gone far off from me, in the wandering of Israel when they went astray from Me after their idols, and they have borne their iniquity.

І навіть Левити, що були віддалилися від Мене, коли блукав Ізраїль, що були зблудили від Мене за своїми божками, і вони понесуть кару за свою вину,

11 A nd they have been in My sanctuary ministrants, overseers at the gates of the house, and ministrants at the house; they slay the burnt-offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they stand before them to serve them.

і будуть вони в святині Моїй служити сторожами при брамах храму, і обслуговувати храм, вони будуть приносити цілопалення й жертву народові, і вони будуть ставати перед ними, щоб служити їм.

12 B ecause that they serve them before their idols, and have been to the house of Israel for a stumbling-block of iniquity, therefore I have lifted up my hand against them -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah -- and they have borne their iniquity.

За те, що вони служили їм перед їхніми бовванами, і стали для Ізраїлевого дому за спотикання на провину, тому підняв Я Свою руку на них, говорить Господь Бог, і вони понесуть провину свою!

13 A nd they draw not nigh unto Me to act as My priest, and to draw nigh unto any of My holy things, unto the holy of holies, and they have borne their shame and their abominations that they have done,

І вони не підійдуть до Мене, щоб бути священиками Мені, і щоб підходити до всіх святощів Моїх, до Святого Святих, і будуть носити ганьбу свою та гидоти свої, які наробили...

14 a nd I made them keepers of the charge of the house, for all its service and for all that is done in it.

І дам Я їх сторожами варти храму щодо всієї його праці, і щодо всього, що робиться в ньому.

15 ` And the priests, the Levites, sons of Zadok, who have kept the charge of My sanctuary in the wandering of the sons of Israel from off Me, they draw near unto Me to serve Me, and have stood before Me, to bring near to Me fat and blood -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah:

А священики-Левити, Садокові сини, що несли сторожу Моєї святині, коли Ізраїлеві сини зблудили були від Мене, вони наблизяться до Мене на службу Мені, і будуть стояти перед Моїм лицем, щоб приносити Мені лій та кров, говорить Господь Бог.

16 t hey come in unto My sanctuary, and they draw near unto My table to serve Me, and they have kept My charge.

Вони ввійдуть до Моєї святині, і вони наблизяться до Мого столу на службу Мені, і будуть нести Мої сторожі.

17 A nd it hath come to pass, in their going in unto the gates of the inner court, linen garments they put on; and no wool cometh up on them in their ministering in the gates of the inner court and within.

І станеться, коли вони входитимуть до брами внутрішнього подвір'я, то зодягатимуть льняну одіж, і не ввійде на них вовна, коли вони служитимуть у брамах внутрішнього подвір'я та назовні.

18 L inen bonnets are on their head, and linen trousers are on their loins, they are not restrained with sweat.

Льняні завої будуть на їхній голові, а льняна спідня одежа буде на їхніх стегнах; не будуть оперізуватися тим, що викликає піт.

19 A nd in their going forth unto the outer court -- unto the outer court unto the people -- they strip off their garments, in which they are ministering, and have placed them in the holy chambers, and have put on other garments; and they do not sanctify the people in their own garments.

А коли вони будуть виходити до зовнішнього подвір'я, до народу, здійматимуть шати свої, в яких служили, і поскладають їх у священних кімнатах, і зодягнуть іншу одежу, щоб своїми священними шатами не торкатися народу.

20 A nd their head they do not shave, and the lock they do not send forth; they certainly poll their heads.

А голови своєї вони не будуть голити, і волосся не запустять, конче будуть стригти волосся своє.

21 A nd no priest doth drink wine in their coming in unto the inner court.

І вина не будуть пити кожен із священиків, коли мають входити до внутрішнього подвір'я.

22 A nd a widow and divorced woman they do not take to them for wives: but -- virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, and the widow who is widow of a priest, do they take.

А вдів та розвідок не братимуть собі за жінок, а братимуть тільки дівчат із насіння Ізраїлевого дому, та вдову, що буде вдовою по священикові.

23 ` And My people they direct between holy and common, and between unclean and clean they cause them to discern.

А народ Мій будуть вони навчати розрізняти між святим та звичайним, і зроблять їх знаючими різницю між нечистим та чистим.

24 A nd concerning controversy, they stand up for judgment; with My judgments they judge it; and My law and My statutes in all My appointed places they keep; and My sabbaths they sanctify.

А в суперечці вони стануть, щоб судити, правосуддям Моїм розсудять її, і будуть стерегти Закони Мої, і устави Мої при всіх святах Моїх, і суботи Мої будуть святити!

25 A nd unto any dead man they come not for uncleanness, but for father, and for mother, and for son, and for daughter, for brother, for sister who hath not been to a man, they defile themselves.

І до мертвої людини не підійдуть, щоб не занечистити себе, а тільки ради батька й матері, і ради сина, і дочки, і ради брата й сестри, що не належала чоловікові, занечистяться.

26 ` And after his cleansing, seven days they number to him.

А по його очищенні прирахують йому ще сім день.

27 A nd in the day of his coming in unto the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he bringeth near his sin-offering -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

А того дня, коли він входить до святині, до внутрішнього подвір'я, щоб служити в святині, він принесе свою жертву за гріх, говорить Господь Бог.

28 A nd it hath been to them for an inheritance; I their inheritance: and a possession ye do not give to them in Israel; I their possession.

І оце буде їм за спадщину: Я їхня спадщина, а володіння не дасте їм в Ізраїлі, Я їхнє володіння!

29 T he present, and the sin-offering, and the guilt-offering, they do eat, and every devoted thing in Israel is theirs.

Жертву хлібну, і жертву за гріх, і жертву за провину, оце будуть вони їсти, і все закляте в Ізраїлі буде їхнє.

30 A nd the first of all the first-fruits of all, and every heave-offering of all, of all your heave-offerings, are the priests': and the first of your dough ye give to the priest, to cause a blessing to rest on thy house.

І перше з усяких первонароджених зо всього, і всякі приношення всього зо всіх ваших приношень буде священикам, і початок ваших діж дасте священикові, щоб він поклав благословення на вашому домі.

31 A ny carcase and torn thing, of the fowl, and of the beasts, the priests do not eat.

Усякого падла та пошматованого з птаства та скотини священики не будуть їсти.
