1 A nd concerning the collection that for the saints, as I directed to the assemblies of Galatia, so also ye -- do ye;

А щодо складок на святих, то й ви робіть так, як я постановив для Церков галатійських.

2 o n every first of the week, let each one of you lay by him, treasuring up whatever he may have prospered, that when I may come then collections may not be made;

А першого дня в тижні нехай кожен із вас відкладає собі та збирає, згідно з тим, як ведеться йому, щоб складок не робити тоді, аж коли я прийду.

3 a nd whenever I may come, whomsoever ye may approve, through letters, these I will send to carry your favour to Jerusalem;

А коли я прийду, тоді тих, кого виберете, тих пошлю я з листами, щоб вони ваш дар любови віднесли до Єрусалиму.

4 a nd if it be meet for me also to go, with me they shall go.

А коли ж і мені випадатиме йти, то зо мною підуть.

5 A nd I will come unto you, when I pass through Macedonia -- for Macedonia I do pass through --

Я прибуду до вас, коли перейду Македонію, бо проходжу через Македонію.

6 a nd with you, it may be, I will abide, or even winter, that ye may send me forward whithersoever I go,

А в вас, коли трапиться, я поживу або й перезимую, щоб мене провели ви, куди я піду.

7 f or I do not wish to see you now in the passing, but I hope to remain a certain time with you, if the Lord may permit;

Не хочу я бачитись з вами тепер мимохідь, але сподіваюся деякий час перебути у вас, як дозволить Господь.

8 a nd I will remain in Ephesus till the Pentecost,

А в Ефесі пробуду я до П'ятдесятниці,

9 f or a door to me hath been opened -- great and effectual -- and withstanders many.

бо двері великі й широкі мені відчинилися, та багато противників...

10 A nd if Timotheus may come, see that he may become without fear with you, for the work of the Lord he doth work, even as I,

Коли ж прийде до вас Тимофій, то пильнуйте, щоб він був безпечний у вас, бо діло Господнє він робить, як і я.

11 n o one, then, may despise him; and send ye him forward in peace, that he may come to me, for I expect him with the brethren;

Тому то нехай ним ніхто не погорджує, але відпровадьте його з миром, щоб прийшов він до мене, бо чекаю його з братами.

12 a nd concerning Apollos our brother, much I did entreat him that he may come unto you with the brethren, and it was not at all will that he may come now, and he will come when he may find convenient.

А щодо брата Аполлоса, то я дуже благав був його, щоб прийшов до вас з братами, та охоти не мав він прибути тепер, але прийде, як матиме час відповідний.

13 W atch ye, stand in the faith; be men, be strong;

Пильнуйте, стійте у вірі, будьте мужні, будьте міцні,

14 l et all your things be done in love.

хай з любов'ю все робиться в вас!

15 A nd I entreat you, brethren, ye have known the household of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruit of Achaia, and to the ministration to the saints they did set themselves --

Благаю ж вас, браття, знаєте ви дім Степанів, що в Ахаї він первісток, і що службі святим присвятились вони,

16 t hat ye also be subject to such, and to every one who is working with and labouring;

і ви підкоряйтесь таким, також кожному, хто помагає та працює.

17 a nd I rejoice over the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because the lack of you did these fill up;

Я тішусь з приходу Степана, і Фортуната, і Ахаїка, бо вашу відсутність вони заступили,

18 f or they did refresh my spirit and yours; acknowledge ye, therefore, those who such.

бо вони заспокоїли духа мого й вашого. Тож шануйте таких!

19 S alute you do the assemblies of Asia; salute you much in the Lord do Aquilas and Priscilla, with the assembly in their house;

Вітають вас азійські Церкви; Акила й Прискилла з домашньою Церквою їхньою гаряче вітають у Господі вас.

20 s alute you do all the brethren; salute ye one another in an holy kiss.

Вітають вас усі брати. Вітайте один одного святим поцілунком.

21 T he salutation of Paul with my hand;

Привітання моєю рукою Павловою.

22 i f any one doth not love the Lord Jesus Christ -- let him be anathema! The Lord hath come!

Коли хто не любить Господа, нехай буде проклятий! Марана та!

23 T he grace of the Lord Jesus Christ with you;

Благодать Господа нашого Ісуса нехай буде з вами!

24 m y love with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Любов моя з вами всіма у Христі Ісусі, амінь!
