1 A nd he maketh an altar of brass, twenty cubits its length, and twenty cubits its breadth, and ten cubits its height.

A făcut un altar de aramă, lung de douăzeci de coţi, lat de douăzeci de coţi, şi înalt de zece coţi.

2 A nd he maketh the molten sea; ten by the cubit, from its edge unto its edge, round in compass, and five by the cubit its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit doth compass it, round about.

A făcut marea turnată. Ea avea zece coţi dela o margine la alta, era rotundă de tot, înaltă de cinci coţi, şi un fir de treizeci de coţi ar fi înconjurat -o.

3 A nd the likeness of oxen under it, all round about encompassing it, ten in the cubit, compassing the sea round about; two rows of oxen are cast in its being cast.

Supt marginea ei, de jur împrejur, erau nişte chipuri de boi, cîte zece de fiecare cot, de jur împrejurul mării; boii aşezaţi pe două rînduri, erau turnaţi dintr'o singură bucată cu ea.

4 I t is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea upon them above, and all their hinder parts within.

Era aşezată pe doisprezece boi, dintre cari trei întorşi spre miazănoapte, trei întorşi spre apus, trei întorşi spre miazăzi, şi trei întorşi spre răsărit; marea era aşezată pe ei, şi toată partea dindărăt a trupurilor lor era înlăuntru.

5 A nd its thickness a handbreadth, and its lip as the work of the lip of a cup flowered with lilies; taking hold -- baths three thousand it containeth.

Grosimea ei era de un lat de mînă, şi marginea, ca marginea unui pahar, era făcută în felul unei flori de crin. Puteau să încapă în ea trei mii de baţi.

6 A nd he maketh ten lavers, and putteth five on the right, and five on the left, to wash with them; the work of the burnt-offering they purge with them; and the sea for priests to wash with.

A făcut zece lighene, şi a pus cinci la dreapta şi cinci la stînga, ca să slujească la curăţiri: în ele se spălau feluritele părţi ale arderilor de tot. Marea era pentru spălarea preoţilor.

7 A nd he maketh the ten candlesticks of gold, according to their ordinance, and placeth in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left.

A mai făcut zece sfeşnice de aur, după porunca privitoare la ele, şi le -a aşezat în Templu, cinci la dreapta şi cinci la stînga.

8 A nd he maketh ten tables, and placeth in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left; and he maketh bowls of gold a hundred.

A mai făcut zece mese, şi le -a aşezat în Templu, cinci la dreapta şi cinci la stînga.

9 A nd he maketh the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and their doors he hath overlaid with brass.

A mai făcut curtea preoţilor, şi curtea cea mare, cu porţile ei, ale căror aripi le -a acoperit cu aramă

10 A nd the sea he hath placed on the right shoulder eastward, over-against the south.

A aşezat marea în partea dreaptă, la miazăzi-răsărit.

11 A nd Huram maketh the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls, and Huram finisheth to make the work that he made for king Solomon in the house of God;

Hiram a făcut cenuşarele, lopeţile şi potirele. Astfel a isprăvit Hiram lucrarea pe care i -a dat -o împăratul Solomon s'o facă pentru Casa lui Dumnezeu:

12 t wo pillars, and the bowls, and the crowns on the heads of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two bowls of the crowns that on the heads of the pillars;

doi stîlpi, cu cele două capete şi coperişurile lor cu cununi de pe vîrful stîlpilor; cele două reţele pentru acoperirea celor două coperişuri ale capetelor de pe vîrful stîlpilor;

13 a nd the pomegranates four hundred to the two wreaths, two rows of pomegranates to the one wreath, to cover the two bowls of the crowns that on the front of the pillars.

cele patru sute de rodii pentru cele două reţele, cîte două şiruri de rodii pentru fiecare reţea, pentru acoperirea celor două coperişuri cu cununi ale capetelor de pe vîrful stîlpilor;

14 A nd the bases he hath made; and the lavers he hath made on the bases;

cele zece temelii, şi cele zece lighene de pe temelii;

15 t he one sea, and the twelve oxen under it,

marea, şi cei doisprezece boi de subt ea;

16 a nd the pots, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their vessels, hath Huram his father made for king Solomon, for the house of Jehovah, of brass purified.

cenuşarele, lopeţile şi furculiţele. Toate aceste unelte, pe cari le -a dat împăratul Solomon lui Huram-Abi să le facă pentru Casa Domnului, erau de aramă lustruită.

17 I n the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zeredathah.

Împăratul a pus să le toarne în cîmpia Iordanului, într'un pămînt cleios, între Sucot şi Ţereda.

18 A nd Solomon maketh all these vessels in great abundance, that the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.

Solomon a făcut toate aceste unelte în număr atît de mare, încît nu s'a putut cerceta greutatea aramei.

19 A nd Solomon maketh all the vessels that the house of God, and the altar of gold, and the tables, and on them bread of the presence;

Solomon a mai făcut toate celelalte unelte pentru Casa lui Dumnezeu: altarul de aur, mesele pe cari se puneau pînile pentru punerea înaintea Domnului;

20 a nd the candlesticks, and their lamps, for their burning according to the ordinance, before the oracle, of gold refined;

sfeşnicile şi candelele lor de aur curat, cari trebuiau aprinse, după poruncă înaintea Locului prea sfînt,

21 a nd the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold -- it the perfection of gold;

florile, candelele, şi mucările de aur, de aur foarte curat:

22 a nd the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of gold refined, and the opening of the house, its innermost doors to the holy of holies, and the doors of the house to the temple, of gold.

cuţitele, potirele, ceştile şi căţuile de aur curat; şi aripile de aur pentru uşa dinlăuntru a casei, dela intrarea Locului prea sfînt, şi pentru uşa casei dela intrarea Templului.
