1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

2 ` Command the sons of Israel, and they bring unto thee pure olive oil, beaten, for the lamp, to cause a light to go up continually;

Porunceşte copiilor lui Israel să-ţi aducă pentru sfeşnic untdelemn curat de măsline tescuite, ca să ţină candelele aprinse neîncetat.

3 a t the outside of the vail of the testimony in the tent of meeting doth Aaron arrange it from evening till morning before Jehovah continually -- a statute age-during to your generations;

Aaron să -l pregătească dincoace de perdeaua dinlăuntru, care este înaintea mărturiei, în cortul întîlnirii, pentruca să ardă neîncetat de seara pînă dimineaţa în faţa Domnului. Aceasta este o lege vecinică pentru urmaşii voştri.

4 b y the pure candlestick he doth arrange the lights before Jehovah continually.

Să aşeze candelele în sfeşnicul de aur curat, ca să ardă neîncetat înaintea Domnului.

5 ` And thou hast taken flour, and hast baked twelve cakes with it, two tenth deals are in the one cake,

Să iei floare de făină, şi să faci din ea douăsprezece turte; fiecare turtă să fie făcută din două zecimi de efă.

6 a nd thou hast set them two ranks (six in the rank) on the pure table before Jehovah,

Să le pui în două şiruri, cîte şase în fiecare şir, pe masa de aur curat, înaintea Domnului.

7 a nd thou hast put on the rank pure frankincense, and it hath been to the bread for a memorial, a fire-offering to Jehovah.

Peste fiecare şir să pui tămîie curată, care să fie pe pîne ca aducere aminte, ca un dar de mîncare mistuit de foc înaintea Domnului.

8 ` On each sabbath-day he arrangeth it before Jehovah continually, from the sons of Israel -- a covenant age-during;

În fiecare zi de Sabat să se pună aceste pîni înaintea Domnului, neîncetat: acesta este un legămînt vecinic pe care -l vor ţinea copiii lui Israel.

9 a nd it hath been to Aaron, and to his sons, and they have eaten it in the holy place, for it most holy to him, from the fire-offerings of Jehovah -- a statute age-during.'

Pînile acestea să fie ale lui Aaron şi ale fiilor lui, şi să le mănînce într'un loc sfînt; căci ele sînt pentru ei un lucru prea sfînt, o parte din darurile de mîncare mistuite de foc înaintea Domnului. Aceasta este o lege vecinică.``

10 A nd a son of an Israelitish woman goeth out (and he son of an Egyptian man), in the midst of the sons of Israel, and strive in the camp do the son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel,

Fiul unei femei israelite şi al unui bărbat egiptean, venind în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel, s'a certat în tabără cu un bărbat israelit.

11 a nd the son of the Israelitish woman execrateth the Name, and revileth; and they bring him in unto Moses; and his mother's name Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;

Fiul femeii israelite a hulit şi a blestemat Numele lui Dumnezeu. L-au adus la Moise. Mamă-sa se numea Şelomit, fata lui Dibri, din seminţia lui Dan.

12 a nd he causeth him to rest in charge -- to explain to them by the mouth of Jehovah.

L-au aruncat în temniţă, pînă va spune Moise ce va porunci Domnul.

13 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

14 ` Bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp; and all those hearing have laid their hands on his head, and all the company have stoned him.

Scoate din tabără pe cel ce a hulit; toţi ceice l-au auzit, să-şi pună mînile pe capul lui, şi toată adunarea să -l ucidă cu pietre.

15 ` And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, When any man revileth his God -- then he hath borne his sin;

Să vorbeşti copiilor lui Israel, şi să le spui:, Oricine va blestema pe Dumnezeul lui, îşi va lua pedeapsa pentru păcatul lui.

16 a nd he who is execrating the name of Jehovah is certainly put to death; all the company do certainly cast stones at him; as a sojourner so a native, in his execrating the Name, is put to death.

Cine va blestema Numele Domnului, va fi pedepsit cu moartea: toată adunarea să -l ucidă cu pietre. Fie străin, fie băştinaş, să moară, pentrucă a hulit Numele lui Dumnezeu.

17 ` And when a man smiteth any soul of man, he is certainly put to death.

Cine va da unui om o lovitură de moarte, să fie pedepsit cu moartea.

18 ` And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, body for body.

Cine va da unui dobitoc o lovitură de moarte, să -l înlocuiască: viaţă pentru viaţă.

19 ` And when a man putteth a blemish in his fellow, as he hath done so it is done to him;

Dacă cineva răneşte pe aproapele lui, să i se facă aşa cum a făcut şi el:

20 b reach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he putteth a blemish in a man so it is done in him.

frîntură pentru frîntură, ochi pentru ochi, dinte pentru dinte; să i se facă aceeaş rană pe care a făcut -o el aproapelui său.

21 ` And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, and he who smiteth man is put to death;

Cine va ucide un dobitoc, să -l înlocuiască; dar cine va ucide un om, să fie pedepsit cu moartea.

22 o ne judgment is to you; as a sojourner so is a native; for I Jehovah your God.'

Să aveţi aceeaş lege pentru străin ca şi pentru băştinaş; căci Eu sînt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.``

23 A nd Moses speaketh unto the sons of Israel, and they bring out the reviler unto the outside of the camp, and stone him with stones; and the sons of Israel have done as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

Moise a vorbit copiilor lui Israel; au scos afară din tabără pe cel ce hulise, şi l-au ucis cu pietre. Copiii lui Israel au făcut după porunca pe care o dăduse lui Moise Domnul.
