1 P raise ye Jah! Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens, Praise ye Him in high places.

Lăudaţi pe Domnul! Lăudaţi pe Domnul din înălţimea cerurilor, lăudaţi -L în locurile cele înalte!

2 P raise ye Him, all His messengers, Praise ye Him, all His hosts.

Lăudaţi -L toţi îngerii Lui! Lăudaţi -L, toate oştirile Lui!

3 P raise ye Him, sun and moon, Praise ye Him, all stars of light.

Lăudaţi -L, soare şi lună, lăudaţi -L, toate stelele luminoase!

4 P raise ye Him, heavens of heavens, And ye waters that are above the heavens.

Lăudaţi -L, cerurile cerurilor, şi voi, ape, cari sînteţi mai pe sus de ceruri!

5 T hey do praise the name of Jehovah, For He commanded, and they were created.

Să laude Numele Domnului, căci El a poruncit şi au fost făcute,

6 A nd He establisheth them for ever to the age, A statute He gave, and they pass not over.

le -a întărit pe veci de veci; le -a dat legi, şi nu le va călca.

7 P raise ye Jehovah from the earth, Dragons and all deeps,

Lăudaţi pe Domnul de jos de pe pămînt, balauri de mare, şi adîncuri toate;

8 F ire and hail, snow and vapour, Whirlwind doing His word;

foc şi grindină, zăpadă şi ceaţă, vînturi năpraznice, cari împliniţi poruncile Lui,

9 T he mountains and all heights, Fruit tree, and all cedars,

munţi şi dealuri toate, pomi roditori, şi cedri toţi,

10 T he wild beast, and all cattle, Creeping thing, and winged bird,

fiare şi vite toate, tîrîtoare şi păsări înaripate,

11 K ings of earth, and all peoples, Chiefs, and all judges of earth,

împăraţi ai pămîntului şi popoare toate, voievozi şi toţi judecătorii pămîntului,

12 Y oung men, and also maidens, Aged men, with youths,

tineri şi tinere, bătrîni şi copii!

13 T hey praise the name of Jehovah, For His name alone hath been set on high, His honour above earth and heavens.

Să laude Numele Domnului! Căci numai Numele Lui este înălţat: măreţia Lui este mai pe sus de pămînt şi ceruri.

14 A nd He exalteth the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints, Of the sons of Israel, a people near Him. Praise ye Jah!

El a înalţat tăria poporului Său: iată o pricină de laudă pentru toţi credincioşii Lui, pentru copiii lui Israel, popor de lîngă El. Lăudaţi pe Domnul!
