1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, in the wilderness of Sinai, in the second year of their going out of the land of Egypt, in the first month, saying,

Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, în pustia Sinai, în luna întîi a anului al doilea, după ieşirea lor din ţara Egiptului. Şi a zis:

2 ` Also, the sons of Israel prepare the passover in its appointed season;

Copiii lui Israel să prăznuiască Paştele la vremea hotărîtă.

3 i n the fourteenth day of this month between the evenings ye prepare it in its appointed season; according to all its statutes, and according to all its ordinances ye prepare it.'

Să le prăznuiţi la vremea hotărîtă, în a patrusprezecea zi a lunii acesteia, seara1; să le prăznuiţi după toate legile, şi după toate poruncile privitoare la ele.``

4 A nd Moses speaketh unto the sons of Israel to prepare the passover,

Moise a vorbit copiilor lui Israel, să prăznuiască Paştele.

5 a nd they prepare the passover in the first, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses, so have the sons of Israel done.

Şi au prăznuit Paştele în a patrusprezecea zi a lunii întîi, seara1, în pustia Sinai; copiii lui Israel au făcut întocmai după toate poruncile, pe cari le dăduse lui Moise Domnul.

6 A nd there are men who have been defiled by the body of a man, and they have not been able to prepare the passover on that day, and they come near before Moses, and before Aaron, on that day,

S'a întîmplat că nişte oameni, fiind necuraţi din pricină că se atinseseră de un mort, nu puteau prăznui Paştele în ziua aceea. Ei s'au înfăţişat în aceeaş zi înaintea lui Moise şi înaintea lui Aaron.

7 a nd those men say unto him, `We are defiled by the body of a man; why are we withheld so as not to bring near the offering of Jehovah in its appointed season, in the midst of the sons of Israel?'

Şi oamenii aceia au zis lui Moise:,, Noi sîntem necuraţi din pricina unui mort; de ce să fim nevoiţi să nu ne aducem la vremea hotărîtă darul cuvenit Domnului în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel?``

8 A nd Moses saith unto them, `Stand ye, and I hear what Jehovah hath commanded concerning you.'

Moise le -a răspuns:,, Aşteptaţi să văd ce vă porunceşte Domnul.``

9 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Şi Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

10 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, Though any man is unclean by a body or in a distant journey (of you or of your generations), yet he hath prepared a passover to Jehovah;

Vorbeşte copiilor lui Israel, şi spune-le:, Dacă cineva dintre voi sau dintre urmaşii voştri este necurat din pricina unui mort, sau este într'o călătorie lungă, totuş să prăznuiască Paştele în cinstea Domnului.

11 i n the second month, on the fourteenth day, between the evenings they prepare it; with unleavened and bitter things they eat it;

Şi, să le prăznuiască în luna a doua, în ziua a patrusprezecea, seara1; să le mănînce cu azimi şi ierburi amare.

12 t hey do not leave of till morning; and a bone they do not break in it: according to all the statute of the passover they prepare it.

Să nu lase din ele nimic pînă a doua zi dimineaţa, şi să nu frîngă niciun os din ele. Să le prăznuiască după toate poruncile privitoare la Paşte.

13 ` And the man who is clean, and hath not been on a journey, and hath ceased to prepare the passover, even that person hath been cut off from his people; because the offering of Jehovah he hath not brought near, in its appointed season, that man doth bear his sin.

Dacă cineva nu este necurat, nici nu este în călătorie, şi totuş nu prăznuieşte Paştele, sufletul acela să fie nimicit din poporul lui; pentru că n'a adus darul cuvenit Domnului la vremea hotărîtă, omul acela să-şi ia pedeapsa pentru păcatul lui.

14 ` And when a sojourner sojourneth with you, then he hath prepared a passover to Jehovah, according to the statute of the passover, and according to its ordinance, so he doth; one statute is to you, even to a sojourner, and to a native of the land.'

Dacă un străin, care locuieşte între voi, prăznuieşte Paştele Domnului, să se ţină de legile şi poruncile privitoare la Paşte. Aceeaş lege să fie între voi, pentru străin ca şi pentru băştinaş.``

15 A nd in the day of the raising up of the tabernacle hath the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the tent of the testimony; and in the evening there is on the tabernacle as an appearance of fire till morning;

În ziua cînd a fost aşezat cortul, norul a acoperit locaşul cortului întîlnirii; şi, de seara pînă dimineaţa deasupra cortului era ca înfăţişarea unui foc.

16 s o it is continually; the cloud covereth it, also the appearance of fire by night.

Totdeauna era aşa: ziua, norul acoperea cortul, iar noaptea avea înfăţişarea unui foc.

17 A nd according to the going up of the cloud from off the tent and afterwards do the sons of Israel journey; and in the place where the cloud doth tabernacle, there do the sons of Israel encamp;

Cînd se ridica norul de pe cort, porneau şi copiii lui Israel; şi acolo unde se oprea norul, tăbărau şi copiii lui Israel.

18 b y the command of Jehovah the sons of Israel journey, and by the command of Jehovah they encamp; all the days that the cloud doth tabernacle over the tabernacle they encamp.

Copiii lui Israel porneau după porunca Domnului şi tăbărau după porunca Domnului; tăbărau atîta vreme cît rămînea norul deasupra cortului.

19 A nd in the cloud prolonging itself over the tabernacle many days, then have the sons of Israel kept the charge of Jehovah, and journey not,

Cînd norul rămînea mai multă vreme deasupra cortului, copiii lui Israel ascultau de porunca Domnului, şi nu porneau.

20 a nd so when the cloud is a number of days over the tabernacle; by the command of Jehovah they encamp, and by the command of Jehovah they journey.

Cînd norul rămînea mai puţine zile deasupra cortului, ei tăbărau după porunca Domnului, şi porneau după porunca Domnului.

21 A nd so when the cloud is from evening till morning, when the cloud hath gone up in the morning, then they have journeyed; whether by day or by night, when the cloud hath gone up, then they have journeyed.

Dacă norul se oprea de seara pînă dimineaţa, şi se ridica dimineaţa, atunci porneau şi ei. Dacă norul se ridica după o zi şi o noapte, atunci porneau şi ei.

22 W hether two days, or a month, or days, in the cloud prolonging itself over the tabernacle, to tabernacle over it, the sons of Israel encamp, and journey not; and in its being lifted up they journey;

Dacă norul se oprea deasupra cortului două zile, sau o lună, sau un an, copiii lui Israel rămîneau tăbărîţi, şi nu porneau; şi cînd se ridica, porneau şi ei.

23 b y the command of Jehovah they encamp, and by the command of Jehovah they journey; the charge of Jehovah they have kept, by the command of Jehovah in the hand of Moses.

Tăbărau după porunca Domnului, şi porneau după porunca Domnului; ascultau de porunca Domnului, de porunca Domnului dată prin Moise.
