1 A nd he maketh an altar of brass, twenty cubits its length, and twenty cubits its breadth, and ten cubits its height.

Salomão também mandou fazer um altar de bronze de nove metros de comprimento, nove metros de largura e quatro metros e meio de altura.

2 A nd he maketh the molten sea; ten by the cubit, from its edge unto its edge, round in compass, and five by the cubit its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit doth compass it, round about.

Fez o tanque de metal fundido, redondo, medindo quatro metros e meio de diâmetro e dois metros e vinte e cinco centímetros de altura. Era preciso um fio de treze metros e meio para medir a sua circunferência.

3 A nd the likeness of oxen under it, all round about encompassing it, ten in the cubit, compassing the sea round about; two rows of oxen are cast in its being cast.

Abaixo da borda e ao seu redor havia figuras de touro, de cinco em cinco centímetros. Os touros foram fundidos em duas fileiras e numa só peça com o tanque.

4 I t is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea upon them above, and all their hinder parts within.

O tanque ficava sobre doze touros, três voltados para o norte, três para o oeste, três para o sul e três para o leste. Ficava em cima deles, e as pernas traseiras dos touros eram voltadas para o centro.

5 A nd its thickness a handbreadth, and its lip as the work of the lip of a cup flowered with lilies; taking hold -- baths three thousand it containeth.

A espessura do tanque era de quatro dedos, e sua borda era como a borda de um cálice, como uma flor de lírio. Sua capacidade era de sessenta mil litros.

6 A nd he maketh ten lavers, and putteth five on the right, and five on the left, to wash with them; the work of the burnt-offering they purge with them; and the sea for priests to wash with.

Fez dez pias, colocando cinco no lado sul e cinco no lado norte. Nelas era lavado tudo o que era usado nos holocaustos, enquanto que o tanque servia para os sacerdotes se lavarem.

7 A nd he maketh the ten candlesticks of gold, according to their ordinance, and placeth in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left.

Fez dez candelabros de ouro, de acordo com as especificações, e os colocou no templo, cinco no lado sul e cinco no lado norte.

8 A nd he maketh ten tables, and placeth in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left; and he maketh bowls of gold a hundred.

Fez dez mesas e as colocou no templo, cinco no lado sul e cinco no lado norte. Também fez cem bacias de ouro para aspersão.

9 A nd he maketh the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and their doors he hath overlaid with brass.

Fez ainda o pátio dos sacerdotes e o pátio principal com suas portas, e revestiu de bronze as suas portas.

10 A nd the sea he hath placed on the right shoulder eastward, over-against the south.

Pôs o tanque no lado sul, no canto sudeste do templo.

11 A nd Huram maketh the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls, and Huram finisheth to make the work that he made for king Solomon in the house of God;

Também fez os jarros, as pás e as bacias para aspersão. Hurão-Abi terminou assim o trabalho de que fora encarregado pelo rei Salomão, no templo de Deus:

12 t wo pillars, and the bowls, and the crowns on the heads of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two bowls of the crowns that on the heads of the pillars;

As duas colunas; os dois capitéis em forma de taça no alto das colunas; os dois conjuntos de correntes que decoravam os dois capitéis;

13 a nd the pomegranates four hundred to the two wreaths, two rows of pomegranates to the one wreath, to cover the two bowls of the crowns that on the front of the pillars.

as quatrocentas romãs para os dois conjuntos de correntes, sendo duas fileiras de romãs para cada conjunto;

14 A nd the bases he hath made; and the lavers he hath made on the bases;

os dez carrinhos com as suas dez pias;

15 t he one sea, and the twelve oxen under it,

o tanque e os doze touros debaixo dele;

16 a nd the pots, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their vessels, hath Huram his father made for king Solomon, for the house of Jehovah, of brass purified.

os jarros, as pás, os garfos de carne e todos os utensílios afins. Todos esses utensílios que Hurão-Abi fez para o templo do Senhor, a pedido do rei Salomão, eram de bronze polido.

17 I n the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zeredathah.

Foi na planície do Jordão, entre Sucote e Zeredá, que o rei os mandou fundir, em moldes de barro.

18 A nd Solomon maketh all these vessels in great abundance, that the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.

Salomão os fez em tão grande quantidade que não se pôde determinar o peso do bronze utilizado.

19 A nd Solomon maketh all the vessels that the house of God, and the altar of gold, and the tables, and on them bread of the presence;

Além desses, Salomão mandou fazer também todos estes outros utensílios para o templo de Deus: O altar de ouro; as mesas sobre as quais ficavam os pães da Presença;

20 a nd the candlesticks, and their lamps, for their burning according to the ordinance, before the oracle, of gold refined;

os candelabros de ouro puro com suas lâmpadas, para alumiarem diante do santuário interno, conforme determinado;

21 a nd the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold -- it the perfection of gold;

as flores, as lâmpadas e as tenazes de ouro maciço;

22 a nd the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of gold refined, and the opening of the house, its innermost doors to the holy of holies, and the doors of the house to the temple, of gold.

os cortadores de pavio, as bacias para aspersão, as tigelas, os incensários de ouro puro e as portas de ouro do templo: tanto as portas da sala interna, o Lugar Santíssimo, quanto as portas do átrio principal.
