1 F or lo, in those days, and in that time, When I turn back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

“Sim, naqueles dias e naquele tempo, quando eu restaurar a sorte de Judá e de Jerusalém,

2 T hen I have gathered all the nations, And caused them to go down unto the valley of Jehoshaphat, And I have been judged with them there, Concerning My people and Mine inheritance -- Israel, Whom they scattered among nations, And My land they have apportioned.

reunirei todos os povos e os farei descer ao vale de Josafá. Ali os julgarei por causa da minha herança — Israel, o meu povo — pois o espalharam entre as nações e repartiram entre si a minha terra.

3 A nd for My people they do cast a lot, And they give the young man for an harlot, And the young woman have sold for wine, That they may drink.

Lançaram sortes sobre o meu povo e deram meninos em troca de prostitutas; venderam meninas por vinho, para se embriagarem.

4 A nd also, what ye to Me, O Tyre and Zidon, And all circuits of Philistia? Recompence are ye rendering unto Me? And if ye are giving recompence to Me, Swiftly, hastily, I turn back your recompence on your head.

“O que vocês têm contra mim, Tiro, Sidom, e todas as regiões da Filístia? Vocês estão me retribuindo algo que eu lhes fiz? Se estão querendo vingar-se de mim, ágil e veloz me vingarei do que vocês têm feito.

5 I n that My silver and My gold ye took, And My desirable things that are good, Ye have brought in to your temples.

Pois roubaram a minha prata e o meu ouro e levaram para os seus templos os meus tesouros mais valiosos.

6 A nd sons of Judah, and sons of Jerusalem, Ye have sold to the sons of Javan, To put them far off from their border.

Vocês venderam o povo de Judá e o de Jerusalém aos gregos, mandando-os para longe da sua terra natal.

7 L o, I am stirring them up out of the place Whither ye have sold them, And I have turned back your recompence on your head,

“Vou tirá-los dos lugares para onde os venderam, e sobre vocês farei recair o que fizeram:

8 A nd have sold your sons and your daughters Into the hand of the sons of Judah, And they have sold them to Shabeans, Unto a nation far off, for Jehovah hath spoken.

venderei os filhos e as filhas de vocês ao povo de Judá, e eles os venderão à distante nação dos sabeus”. Assim disse o Senhor.

9 P roclaim ye this among nations, Sanctify a war, stir up the mighty ones, Come nigh, come up, let all the men of war.

Proclamem isto entre as nações: Preparem-se para a guerra! Despertem os guerreiros! Todos os homens de guerra aproximem-se e ataquem.

10 B eat your ploughshares to swords, And your pruning-hooks to javelins, Let the weak say, `I mighty.'

Forjem os seus arados, fazendo deles espadas; e de suas foices façam lanças. Diga o fraco: “Sou um guerreiro!”

11 H aste, and come in, all ye nations round, And be gathered together, Thither cause to come down, O Jehovah, Thy mighty ones.

Venham depressa, vocês, nações vizinhas, e reúnam-se ali. Faze descer os teus guerreiros, ó Senhor!

12 W ake and come up let the nations unto the valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I sit to judge all the nations around.

“Despertem, nações; avancem para o vale de Josafá, pois ali me assentarei para julgar todas as nações vizinhas.

13 S end ye forth a sickle, For ripened hath harvest, Come in, come down, for filled hath been the press, Overflowed hath wine-presses, For great their wickedness.

Lancem a foice, pois a colheita está madura. Venham, pisem com força as uvas, pois o lagar está cheio e os tonéis transbordam, tão grande é a maldade dessas nações!”

14 M ultitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision, For near the day of Jehovah in the valley of decision.

Multidões, multidões no vale da Decisão! Pois o dia do Senhor está próximo, no vale da Decisão.

15 S un and moon have been black, And stars have gathered up their shining.

O sol e a lua escurecerão, e as estrelas já não brilharão.

16 A nd Jehovah from Zion doth roar, And from Jerusalem giveth forth His voice, And shaken have the heavens and earth, And Jehovah a refuge to his people, And a stronghold to sons of Israel.

O Senhor rugirá de Sião, e de Jerusalém levantará a sua voz; a terra e o céu tremerão. Mas o Senhor será um refúgio para o seu povo, uma fortaleza para Israel. Bênçãos para o Povo de Deus

17 A nd ye have known that I Jehovah your God, Dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain, And Jerusalem hath been holy, And strangers do not pass over into it again.

“Então vocês saberão que eu sou o Senhor, o seu Deus, que habito em Sião, o meu santo monte. Jerusalém será santa; e estrangeiros jamais a conquistarão.

18 A nd it hath come to pass, in that day, Drop down do the mountains juice, And the hills do flow milk, And all streams of Judah do go water, And a fountain from the house of Jehovah goeth forth, And hath watered the valley of Shittim.

“Naquele dia os montes gotejarão vinho novo; das colinas manará leite; todos os ribeiros de Judá terão água corrente. Uma fonte fluirá do templo do Senhor e regará o vale das Acácias.

19 E gypt a desolation becometh, And Edom a desolation, a wilderness, becometh, For violence sons of Judah, Whose innocent blood they shed in their land.

Mas o Egito ficará desolado, Edom será um deserto arrasado, por causa da violência feita ao povo de Judá, em cuja terra derramaram sangue inocente.

20 A nd Judah to the age doth dwell, And Jerusalem to generation and generation.

Judá será habitada para sempre e Jerusalém por todas as gerações.

21 A nd I have declared their blood innocent, I did not declare innocent, And Jehovah is dwelling in Zion!

Sua culpa de sangue, ainda não perdoada, eu a perdoarei.” O Senhor habita em Sião!
