1 A nd I turn back, and lift up mine eyes, and look, and lo, four chariots are coming forth from between two of the mountains, and the mountains mountains of brass.

Y me torné, y alcé mis ojos y miré, y he aquí cuatro carros que salían de entre dos montes; y aquellos montes eran de bronce.

2 I n the first chariot red horses, and in the second chariot brown horses,

En el primer carro había caballos bermejos, el segundo carro caballos negros,

3 a nd in the third chariot white horses, and in the fourth chariot strong grisled horses.

en el tercer carro caballos blancos, y en el cuarto carro caballos overos rucios rodados.

4 A nd I answer and say unto the messenger who is speaking with me, `What these, my lord?'

Respondí entonces, y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: Señor mío, ¿qué es esto?

5 A nd the messenger answereth and saith unto me, `These four spirits of the heavens coming forth from presenting themselves before the Lord of the whole earth.

Y el ángel me respondió, y me dijo: Estos son los cuatro espíritus de los cielos, que salen de donde están delante del Señor de toda la tierra.

6 T he brown horses that therein, are coming forth unto the land of the north; and the white have come forth unto their hinder part; and the grisled have come forth unto the land of the south;

En el que estaban los caballos negros, salieron hacia la tierra del aquilón; y los blancos salieron tras ellos; y los overos salieron hacia la tierra del mediodía.

7 a nd the strong ones have come forth, and they seek to go to walk up and down in the earth;' and he saith, `Go, walk up and down in the earth;' and they walk up and down in the earth.

Y los rucios salieron, y se procuraron por ir a andar la tierra. Y dijo: Id, andad la tierra. Y anduvieron la tierra.

8 A nd he calleth me, and speaketh unto me, saying, `See, those coming forth unto the land of the north have caused My Spirit to rest in the land of the north.'

Luego me llamó, y me habló diciendo: Mira, los que salieron hacia la tierra del aquilón hicieron reposar mi Espíritu en la tierra del aquilón.

9 A nd there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

Y vino a mí palabra del SEÑOR, diciendo:

10 t o take of the captivity (who came from Babylon) from Heldai, from Tobijah, and from Jedaiah, `and thou hast come in -- thou, in that day, yea, thou hast come into the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah,

Toma de los que tornaron del cautiverio, de los del linaje de Heldai, de Tobías, y de Jedaías; y vendrás tú en aquel día, y entrarás en Casa de Josías hijo de Sofonías, los cuales volvieron de Babilonia.

11 a nd thou hast taken silver and gold, and hast made a crown, and hast placed on the head of Joshua son of Josedech, the high priest,

Tomarás plata y oro, y harás coronas, y las pondrás en la cabeza de Josué, hijo de Josadac el sumo sacerdote;

12 a nd hast spoken unto him, saying: Thus spake Jehovah of Hosts, saying: Lo, a man! A Shoot -- his name, And from his place he doth shoot up, And he hath built the temple of Jehovah.

y le hablarás, diciendo: Así habló el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, diciendo: He aquí el varón cuyo nombre es el Renuevo, el cual retoñará de su lugar, y edificará el Templo del SEÑOR.

13 Y ea, he doth build the temple of Jehovah, And he doth bear away honour, And he hath sat and ruled on His throne, And hath been a priest on His throne, And a counsel of peace is between both.

El edificará el Templo del SEÑOR, y él llevará gloria, y se sentará y dominará en su trono, y será sacerdote en su trono; y consejo de paz será entre ambos a dos.

14 A nd the crown is to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.

Y Helem, Tobías, Jedaías, y Hen, hijo de Sofonías, tendrán coronas por memorial en el Templo del SEÑOR.

15 A nd the far-off come in, and they have built in the temple of Jehovah, and ye have known that Jehovah of Hosts hath sent me unto you, yea, it hath come to pass, if ye do certainly hearken to the voice of Jehovah your God.'

Y los que están lejos vendrán y edificarán en el Templo del SEÑOR, y conoceréis que el SEÑOR de los ejércitos me ha enviado a vosotros. Y será esto, si oyereis obedientes la voz del SEÑOR vuestro Dios.
