1 A nd there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

Y vino Palabra del SEÑOR a mí, diciendo:

2 ` Son of man, say to the leader of Tyre: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart hath been high, And thou dost say: A god I, The habitation of God I have inhabited, In the heart of the seas, And thou man, and not God, And thou givest out thy heart as the heart of God,

Hijo de hombre, di al príncipe de Tiro: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: Por cuanto se enalteció tu corazón, y dijiste: Yo soy dios; en la silla de Dios estoy sentado en medio de los mares (siendo tú hombre y no Dios); y pusiste tu corazón como corazón de Dios;

3 L o, thou wiser than Daniel, No hidden thing have they concealed from thee.

he aquí que tú eres más sabio que Daniel; no hay secreto que ellos te puedan ocultar;

4 B y thy wisdom and by thine understanding Thou hast made for thee wealth, And makest gold and silver in thy treasuries.

con tu sabiduría y con tu inteligencia te has juntado riquezas, y has adquirido oro y plata en tus tesoros;

5 B y the abundance of thy wisdom, Through thy merchandise, Thou hast multiplied thy wealth, And high is thy heart through thy wealth.

con la grandeza de tu sabiduría en tu contratación has multiplicado tus riquezas; y a causa de tus riquezas se ha enaltecido tu corazón.

6 T herefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of thy giving out thy heart as the heart of God,

Por tanto, así dijo el Señor DIOS: Por cuanto pusiste tu corazón como corazón de Dios,

7 T herefore, lo, I am bringing in against thee strangers, The terrible of the nations, And they have drawn out their swords Against the beauty of thy wisdom, And they have pierced thy brightness.

por tanto, he aquí yo traigo sobre ti extraños, los fuertes de los gentiles, que desenvainarán sus espadas contra la hermosura de tu sabiduría, y ensuciarán tu esplendor.

8 T o destruction they bring thee down, Thou diest by the deaths of the wounded, in the heart of the seas.

A la huesa te harán descender, y morirás de la muerte de los que mueren en medio de los mares.

9 D ost thou really say, `I God,' Before him who is slaying thee? And thou man, and not God, In the hand of him who is piercing thee.

¿Por ventura hablarás delante de tu matador, diciendo: Yo soy dios? Tú, hombre serás, y no Dios, en la mano de tu matador.

10 T he deaths of the uncircumcised thou diest, By the hand of strangers, for I have spoken, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

De muerte de incircuncisos morirás por mano de extraños; porque yo he hablado, dijo el Señor DIOS.

11 A nd there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

Y vino Palabra del SEÑOR a mí, diciendo:

12 ` Son of man, lift up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, And thou hast said to him: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Thou art sealing up a measurement, Full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

Hijo de hombre, levanta endechas sobre el rey de Tiro, y dile: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: Tú sellas la suma de la perfección, lleno de sabiduría, y acabado de hermosura.

13 I n Eden, the garden of God, thou hast been, Every precious stone thy covering, Ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle, and gold, The workmanship of thy tabrets, and of thy pipes, In thee in the day of thy being produced, have been prepared.

En Edén, en el huerto de Dios estuviste; toda piedra preciosa fue tu vestidura; el sardio, topacio, diamante, turquesa, ónice, y berilo, zafiro, rubí, esmeralda, y oro. Las obras de tus tamboriles y pífanos estuvieron apercibidas en ti el día que fuiste creado.

14 T hou an anointed cherub who is covering, And I have set thee in the holy mount, God thou hast been, In the midst of stones of fire thou hast walked up and down.

Tú, querubín grande, cubierto, y yo te puse; en el santo monte de Dios estuviste; en medio de piedras de fuego anduviste.

15 P erfect thou in thy ways, From the day of thy being produced, Till perversity hath been found in thee.

Perfecto eras en todos tus caminos desde el día que fuiste creado, hasta que se halló en ti maldad.

16 B y the abundance of thy merchandise They have filled thy midst with violence, And thou dost sin, And I thrust thee from the mount of God, And I destroy thee, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire.

A causa de la multitud de tu contratación fuiste lleno de violencia, y pecaste; y yo te eché del Monte de Dios, y te eché a mal de entre las piedras del fuego, oh querubín cubierto.

17 H igh hath been thy heart, because of thy beauty, Thou hast corrupted thy wisdom because of thy brightness, On the earth I have cast thee, Before kings I have set thee, to look on thee,

Se enalteció tu corazón a causa de tu hermosura, corrompiste tu sabiduría a causa de tu resplandor; yo te arrojaré por tierra; delante de los reyes te pondré para que miren en ti.

18 F rom the abundance of thy iniquity, By the perversity of thy traffic, Thou hast polluted thy sanctuaries, And I bring forth fire from thy midst, It hath devoured thee, And I make thee become ashes on the earth, Before the eyes of all beholding thee.

Con la multitud de tus iniquidades, y con la iniquidad de tu contratación ensuciaste tu santuario; yo, pues, saqué fuego de en medio de ti, el cual te consumió, y te puse en ceniza sobre la tierra a los ojos de todos los que te miran.

19 A ll knowing thee among the peoples Have been astonished at thee, Wastes thou hast been, and thou art not -- to the age.'

Todos los que te conocieron de entre los pueblos, se maravillarán sobre ti; conturbado fuisteis, y nunca más serás para siempre.

20 A nd there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

Y vino Palabra del SEÑOR a mí, diciendo:

21 ` Son of man, set thy face unto Zidon, and prophesy concerning it;

Hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro hacia Sidón, y profetiza contra ella;

22 a nd thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I against thee, O Zidon, And I have been honoured in thy midst, And they have known that I Jehovah, In My doing in her judgments, And I have been sanctified in her.

y dirás: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: He aquí yo contra ti, oh Sidón, y en medio de ti seré glorificado; y sabrán que yo soy el SEÑOR, cuando hiciere en ella juicios, y en ella me santificare.

23 A nd I have sent into her pestilence, And blood into her out-places, The wounded hath been judged in her midst, By the sword upon her round about, And they have known that I Jehovah.

Y enviaré a ella pestilencia y sangre en sus plazas; y caerán muertos en medio de ella; con espada contra ella alrededor; y sabrán que yo soy el SEÑOR.

24 A nd there is no more to the house of Israel A pricking brier, and paining thorn, Of all round about them -- despising them, And they have known that I the Lord Jehovah.

Y nunca más será a la Casa de Israel espino que le punce, ni espino que le dé dolor, en todos los alrededores de los que los menosprecian; y sabrán que yo soy el SEÑOR.

25 T hus said the Lord Jehovah: In My gathering the house of Israel, Out of the peoples among whom they were scattered, I have been sanctified in them, Before the eyes of the nations, And they have dwelt on their ground, That I gave to My servant, to Jacob,

Así dijo el Señor DIOS: Cuando juntare la Casa de Israel de los pueblos entre los cuales están esparcidos, y en ellos me santificaré a los ojos de los gentiles, y habitarán en su tierra, la cual di a mi siervo Jacob.

26 A nd they have dwelt on it confidently, And builded houses, and planted vineyards, And dwelt confidently -- in My doing judgments, On all those despising them round about, And they have known that I, Jehovah, their God!'

Y habitarán en ella seguros, y edificarán casas, y plantarán viñas, y habitarán confiadamente, cuando yo haga juicios en todos los que les despojan en sus alrededores; y sabrán que yo soy el SEÑOR su Dios.
