1 A nd Joshua is old, entering into days, and Jehovah saith unto him, `Thou hast become aged, thou hast entered into days; as to the land, very much hath been left to possess.

¶ Y siendo Josué ya viejo, entrado en días, el SEÑOR le dijo: Tú eres ya viejo, de edad avanzada, y queda aún muchísima tierra por poseer.

2 ` This the land that is left; all the circuits of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,

Esta es la tierra que queda: todos los términos de los filisteos, y toda Gesur;

3 f rom Sihor which on the front of Egypt, and unto the border of Ekron northward, to the Canaanite it is reckoned, five princes of the Philistines, the Gazathite, and the Ashdothite, the Eshkalonite, the Gittite, and the Ekronite, also the Avim.

desde el Nilo, que está delante de Egipto, hasta el término de Ecrón al norte, la cual es contada entre los cananeos; cinco cardinales de los filisteos; los gazeos, los asdodios, los ascalonitas, los geteos, los ecronitas; y los aveos;

4 ` From the south, all the land of the Canaanite, and Mearah, which to the Sidonians, unto Aphek, unto the border of the Amorite;

al mediodía toda la tierra de los cananeos, y Mehara que es de los de Sidón, hasta Afec, hasta el término del amorreo;

5 a nd the land of the Giblite, and all Lebanon, at the sun-rising, from Baal-Gad under mount Hermon, unto the going in to Hamath:

y la tierra de los giblitas, y todo el Líbano hacia donde sale el sol, desde Baal-gad a las raíces del monte de Hermón, hasta entrar en Hamat.

6 a ll the inhabitants of the hill-country, from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-Maim, all the Sidonians: I -- I dispossess them before the sons of Israel; only, cause it to fall to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

Todos los que habitan en las montañas desde el Líbano hasta las aguas calientes, todos los sidonios; yo los desarraigaré delante de los hijos de Israel; solamente repartirás tú por suerte el país a los israelitas por heredad, como te he mandado.

7 ` And now, apportion this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh,' --

¶ Parte, pues, tú ahora esta tierra en heredad a las nueve tribus, y a la media tribu de Manasés.

8 w ith it the Reubenite, and the Gadite, have received their inheritance, which Moses hath given to them beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses servant of Jehovah hath given to them;

Porque la otra media recibió su heredad con los rubenitas y gaditas, la cual les dio Moisés del otro lado del Jordán al oriente, según que se la dio Moisés siervo del SEÑOR;

9 f rom Aroer, which on the edge of the brook Arnon, and the city which in the midst of the brook, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dihon,

desde Aroer, que está a la orilla del arroyo de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en medio del arroyo, y toda la campiña de Medeba, hasta Dibón;

10 a nd all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorite, who reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the Bene-Ammon,

y todas las ciudades de Sehón rey de los amorreos, el cual reinó en Hesbón, hasta los términos de los hijos de Amón;

11 a nd Gilead, and the border of the Geshurite, and of the Maachathite, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;

y Galaad, y los términos de Gesur, y de Maaca, y todo el monte de Hermón, y toda la tierra de Basán hasta Salca.

12 a ll the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei; he was left of the remnant of the Rephaim, and Moses doth smite them, and dispossess them;

Todo el reino de Og en Basán, el cual reinó en Astarot y en Edrei, el cual había quedado del residuo de los refaítas; pues Moisés los hirió, y los echó de la tierra.

13 a nd the sons of Israel dispossessed not the Geshurite, and the Maachathite; and Geshur and Maachath dwell in the midst of Israel unto this day.

Mas a los de Gesur y Maaca no echaron los hijos de Israel; antes Gesur (El de la mirada soberbia) y Maaca (El Opresor) habitan entre los israelitas hasta hoy.

14 O nly, to the tribe of Levi he hath not given an inheritance; fire-offerings of Jehovah, God of Israel, is its inheritance, as He hath spoken to it.

Pero a la tribu de Leví no dio heredad: los sacrificios encendidos del SEÑOR Dios de Israel son su heredad, como él les había dicho.

15 A nd Moses giveth to the tribe of the sons of Reuben, for their families;

Dio, pues, Moisés a la tribu de los hijos de Rubén conforme a sus familias;

16 a nd the border is to them from Aroer, which on the edge of the brook Arnon, and the city which in the midst of the brook, and all the plain by Medeba,

y fue el término de ellos desde Aroer, que está a la orilla del arroyo de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en medio del arroyo, y toda la campiña, hasta Medeba;

17 H eshbon, and all its cities which in the plain, Dibon, and Bamoth-Baal, and Beth-Baal-Meon,

Hesbón, con todas sus villas que están en la llanura; Dibón, Bamot-baal, Bet-baal-meón;

18 a nd Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

Jahaza, Cademot, Mefaat,

19 a nd Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zareth-Shahar, in the mount of the valley,

Quiriataim, Sibma, y Zaret-sahar en el monte de Emec (monte del valle);

20 a nd Beth-Peor, and the springs of Pisgah, and Beth-Jeshimoth,

Bet-peor, Asdot-pisga, Bet-jesimot;

21 a nd all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorite, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote, with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, princes of Sihon, inhabitants of the land.

y todas las ciudades de la campiña, y todo el reino de Sehón rey de los amorreos, que reinó en Hesbón, al cual hirió Moisés, y a los príncipes de Madián, Evi, Requem, Zur, Hur, y Reba, príncipes de Sehón que habitaban en aquella tierra.

22 A nd Balaam, son of Beor, the diviner, have the sons of Israel slain with the sword, among their wounded ones.

También mataron a espada los hijos de Israel a Balaam adivino, hijo de Beor, con los demás que mataron.

23 A nd the border of the sons of Reuben is the Jordan, and border; this the inheritance of the sons of Reuben, for their families, the cities and their villages.

Y el término de los hijos de Rubén fue el Jordán con su término. Esta fue la herencia de los hijos de Rubén conforme a sus familias, estas ciudades con sus villas.

24 A nd Moses giveth to the tribe of Gad, to the sons of Gad, for their families;

Dio asimismo Moisés a la tribu de Gad, a los hijos de Gad, conforme a sus familias.

25 a nd the border is to them Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and the half of the land of the Bene-Ammon, unto Aroer which on the front of Rabbah,

Y el término de ellos fue Jazer, y todas las ciudades de Galaad, y la mitad de la tierra de los hijos de Amón hasta Aroer, que está delante de Rabá.

26 a nd from Heshbon unto Ramath-Mispeh, and Betonim, and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir,

Y desde Hesbón hasta Ramat-mizpa, y Betonim; y desde Mahanaim hasta el término de Debir;

27 a nd in the valley, Beth-Aram, and Beth-Nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and border, unto the extremity of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan, eastward.

y la campiña de Bet-aram, Bet-nimra, Sucot, y Zafón, el resto del reino de Sehón, rey en Hesbón; el Jordán y su término hasta el cabo del mar de Cineret del otro lado del Jordán al oriente.

28 T his the inheritance of the sons of Gad, for their families, the cities and their villages.

Esta es la herencia de los hijos de Gad, por sus familias, las ciudades con sus villas.

29 A nd Moses giveth to the half of the tribe of Manasseh; and it is to the half of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, for their families.

También dio Moisés a la media tribu de Manasés; y fue de la media tribu de los hijos de Manasés, conforme a sus familias.

30 A nd their border is from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the small towns of Jair, which in Bashan, sixty cities;

El término de ellos fue desde Mahanaim, todo Basán, todo el reino de Og rey de Basán, y todas las aldeas de Jair que están en Basán, sesenta ciudades.

31 a nd the half of Gilead, and Ashteroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, to the sons of Machir, son of Manasseh, to the half of the sons of Machir, for their families.

Se dio además la mitad de Galaad, Astarot, y Edrei, las ciudades del reino de Og en Basán, a los hijos de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, a la mitad de los hijos de Maquir conforme a sus familias.

32 T hese they whom Moses caused to inherit in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan, Jericho, eastward;

Esto es lo que Moisés repartió en heredad en los llanos de Moab, del otro lado del Jordán de Jericó, al oriente.

33 a nd to the tribe of Levi Moses gave not an inheritance; Jehovah, God of Israel, Himself their inheritance, as He hath spoken to them.

Mas a la tribu de Leví no dio Moisés heredad: el SEÑOR Dios de Israel es la heredad de ellos como él les había dicho.
