1 A nd Joshua is old, entering into days, and Jehovah saith unto him, `Thou hast become aged, thou hast entered into days; as to the land, very much hath been left to possess.

А Исус остаря и беше в напреднала възраст. Тогава Господ му каза: Ти остаря и си в напреднала възраст, а остава още много земя да бъде превзета.

2 ` This the land that is left; all the circuits of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,

Ето земята, която остава още: всичките области на филистимците и цялата Гесурска земя,

3 f rom Sihor which on the front of Egypt, and unto the border of Ekron northward, to the Canaanite it is reckoned, five princes of the Philistines, the Gazathite, and the Ashdothite, the Eshkalonite, the Gittite, and the Ekronite, also the Avim.

от Сиор в посока към Египет до границата на Акарон на север, която принадлежи на ханаанците - петте области на филистимците: на газците, на азотците, на аскалонците, на гетците и на акаронците; и земята, която е на авейците;

4 ` From the south, all the land of the Canaanite, and Mearah, which to the Sidonians, unto Aphek, unto the border of the Amorite;

на Негев, цялата земя на ханаанците и Меара, която принадлежи на сидонците, до Афек, до Аморейските територии;

5 a nd the land of the Giblite, and all Lebanon, at the sun-rising, from Baal-Gad under mount Hermon, unto the going in to Hamath:

и земята на гевалците, и целият Ливан към изгрев слънце, от Ваалгад в подножието на Ермонската планина до прохода на Емат;

6 a ll the inhabitants of the hill-country, from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-Maim, all the Sidonians: I -- I dispossess them before the sons of Israel; only, cause it to fall to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

всичките планински жители от Ливан до Мисрефот-маим, т. е. всичките сидонци; тях Аз ще изтребя пред израелтяните; а ти раздели тази земя в наследство на Израел, както ти заповядах.

7 ` And now, apportion this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh,' --

И така, сега раздели тази земя в наследство на деветте племена и на половината от Манасиевото племе.

8 w ith it the Reubenite, and the Gadite, have received their inheritance, which Moses hath given to them beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses servant of Jehovah hath given to them;

А заедно с другата половина от Манасиевото племе Рувимовите синове и Гадовите синове получиха наследството си, което Моисей им даде отвъд Йордан, на изток,

9 f rom Aroer, which on the edge of the brook Arnon, and the city which in the midst of the brook, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dihon,

от Ароир, който е при брега на потока Арнон, и града, който е в средата на долината, и цялата медеванска равнина до Девон,

10 a nd all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorite, who reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the Bene-Ammon,

и всичките градове на аморейския цар Сион, който царуваше в Есевон, до територията на амонците,

11 a nd Gilead, and the border of the Geshurite, and of the Maachathite, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;

и Галаад, и пределите на гесурците и на мааханците, и цялата планина Ермон, и целия Васан до Салха,

12 a ll the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei; he was left of the remnant of the Rephaim, and Moses doth smite them, and dispossess them;

цялото царство на Ог във Васан, който царуваше в Астарот и в Едраи. Той единствен беше оцелял от останалите рефаими, които Моисей порази и изгони.

13 a nd the sons of Israel dispossessed not the Geshurite, and the Maachathite; and Geshur and Maachath dwell in the midst of Israel unto this day.

Обаче израелтяните не изгониха гесурците и мааханците. Гесурците и мааханците живееха между Израел, както живеят и до днес.

14 O nly, to the tribe of Levi he hath not given an inheritance; fire-offerings of Jehovah, God of Israel, is its inheritance, as He hath spoken to it.

Само на Левиевото племе той не даде наследство. Жертвите, принесени чрез огън на Господа, Израелевия Бог, са тяхно наследство, както им е казал.

15 A nd Moses giveth to the tribe of the sons of Reuben, for their families;

А Моисей даде наследство на племето на Рувимовите синове според семействата им.

16 a nd the border is to them from Aroer, which on the edge of the brook Arnon, and the city which in the midst of the brook, and all the plain by Medeba,

Пределите им бяха от Ароир, който е при брега на потока Арнон, и града, който е сред долината, и цялата равнина до Медева,

17 H eshbon, and all its cities which in the plain, Dibon, and Bamoth-Baal, and Beth-Baal-Meon,

Есевон и всичките му градове в равнината: Девон, Вамот-ваал, Вет-ваалмеон,

18 a nd Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

Яса, Кедимот, Мафаат,

19 a nd Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zareth-Shahar, in the mount of the valley,

Кириатаим, Сивма, Зарет-Саар в хълма на Емак,

20 a nd Beth-Peor, and the springs of Pisgah, and Beth-Jeshimoth,

Вет-фегор, Асдот-фасга, Вет-есимот

21 a nd all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorite, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote, with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, princes of Sihon, inhabitants of the land.

и всичките градове на равнината, и цялото царство на аморейския цар Сион, който царуваше в Есевон, когото Моисей порази заедно с мадиамските първенци: Евия, Рекема, Сура, Ура и Рева, Сионови първенци, които живееха в онази земя.

22 A nd Balaam, son of Beor, the diviner, have the sons of Israel slain with the sword, among their wounded ones.

И между убитите от тях беше Валаам, Веоровият син, прорицателят, когото израелтяните убиха с меч.

23 A nd the border of the sons of Reuben is the Jordan, and border; this the inheritance of the sons of Reuben, for their families, the cities and their villages.

А границата на Рувимовите синове беше Йордан и пределите му. Това е наследството на Рувимовите синове според семействата им с градовете им и техните села.

24 A nd Moses giveth to the tribe of Gad, to the sons of Gad, for their families;

На Гадовото племе Моисей даде наследство на Гадовите синове според семействата им.

25 a nd the border is to them Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and the half of the land of the Bene-Ammon, unto Aroer which on the front of Rabbah,

Територията им включваше Язир и всичките Галаадски градове, и половината от земята на амонците до Ароир срещу Рава,

26 a nd from Heshbon unto Ramath-Mispeh, and Betonim, and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir,

и от Есевон до Рамат-масфа и Ветоним, и от Маханаим до границата на Девир,

27 a nd in the valley, Beth-Aram, and Beth-Nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and border, unto the extremity of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan, eastward.

и в долината Ветарам, Ветнимра, Сокхот и Сафон, останалото от царството на есевонския цар Сион отвъд Йордан на изток, като имаше за граница Йордан до края на езерото Хинерот.

28 T his the inheritance of the sons of Gad, for their families, the cities and their villages.

Това е наследството на Гадовите синове според семействата им с градовете им и техните села.

29 A nd Moses giveth to the half of the tribe of Manasseh; and it is to the half of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, for their families.

Моисей даде наследство и на половината от Манасиевото племе; и то стана притежание на половината от племето на Манасиевите синове според семействата им.

30 A nd their border is from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the small towns of Jair, which in Bashan, sixty cities;

Територията им беше от Маханаим, целият Васан, цялото царство на васанския цар Ог и всичките заселища на Яир, които са във Васан, шестдесет града.

31 a nd the half of Gilead, and Ashteroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, to the sons of Machir, son of Manasseh, to the half of the sons of Machir, for their families.

И половината от Галаад и Астарот и Едраи, градове на царството на Ог във Васан, бяха дадени на потомците на Махира, Манасиевия син, на половината от Махировите потомци според семействата им.

32 T hese they whom Moses caused to inherit in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan, Jericho, eastward;

Тези са наследствата, които Моисей раздели в моавските полета отвъд Йордан, срещу Йерихон, на изток.

33 a nd to the tribe of Levi Moses gave not an inheritance; Jehovah, God of Israel, Himself their inheritance, as He hath spoken to them.

А на Левиевото племе Моисей не даде наследство. Господ, Израелевият Бог, беше наследството им, както им беше казал.
