1 T he word that hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah -- it the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar,

2 A nd then the forces of the king of Babylon are laying siege against Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet hath been shut up in the court of the prison that in the house of the king of Judah,

По това време войската на вавилонския цар обсаждаше Йерусалим; а пророк Йеремия беше затворен в двора на стражата, която беше в двореца на Юдейския цар.

3 W here Zedekiah king of Judah hath shut him up, saying, `Wherefore art thou prophesying, saying, Thus said Jehovah, Lo, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he hath captured it;

Защото Юдейският цар Седекия го беше затворил и му беше казал: Защо пророкуваш, като казваш: Така казва Господ: Ето, Аз ще предам този град в ръката на вавилонския цар и той ще го завладее;

4 A nd Zedekiah king of Judah doth not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but is certainly given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and his mouth hath spoken with his mouth, and his eyes see his eyes,

и Юдейският цар Седекия няма да избегне от ръката на халдейците, а непременно ще бъде предаден в ръката на вавилонския цар и ще говори с него уста с уста, и ще се погледнат очи в очи;

5 A nd Babylon he leadeth Zedekiah, and there he is till My inspecting him, -- an affirmation of Jehovah -- because ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye do not prosper.'

и той ще заведе Седекия във Вавилон; и ще бъде там, докато го посетя, казва Господ; и ако воювате против халдейците, няма да успеете?

6 A nd Jeremiah saith, `A word of Jehovah hath been unto me saying,

Йеремия отговори: Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

7 L o, Hanameel son of Shallum, thine uncle, is coming unto thee, saying, Buy for thee my field that in Anathoth, for thine the right of redemption -- to buy.

Ето, Анамеил, син на чичо ти Селум, ще дойде при теб и ще каже: Купи си нивата ми, която е в Анатот; защото на тебе принадлежи правото на близък сродник да я откупиш.

8 A nd Hanameel, my uncle's son, cometh in unto me, according to the word of Jehovah, unto the court of the prison, and saith unto me, `Buy, I pray thee, my field that in Anathoth, that in the land of Benjamin, for thine the right of possession, and thine of redemption -- buy for thee.' And I know that it the word of Jehovah,

И така, чичовият ми син Анамеил дойде при мене в двора на стражата, според Господнето слово, и ми каза: Купи, моля, нивата ми, която е в Анатот във Вениаминовата земя; защото на тебе принадлежи правото да я наследиш и на тебе - правото да я откупиш; купи я за себе си. Тогава познах, че това предложение беше Господне слово.

9 A nd I buy the field, that in Anathoth, from Hanameel, my uncle's son, and I weigh to him the money -- seventeen shekels of silver.

И купих нивата, която е в Анатот, от чичовия ми син Анамеил и му претеглих парите, седемнадесет сикъла сребро.

10 A nd I write in a book, and seal, and cause witnesses to testify, and weigh the silver in balances;

След като написах записа и ударих печата, повиках свидетели и претеглих среброто във везните.

11 A nd I take the purchase-book, the sealed one, according to law and custom, and the open one.

Тогава взех записа за покупката - както запечатания, съдържащ споразуменията и условията, така и отворения;

12 A nd I give the purchase-book unto Baruch son of Neriah, son of Maaseiah, before the eyes of Hanameel, my uncle's son, and before the eyes of the witnesses, those writing in the purchase-book, before the eyes of all the Jews who are sitting in the court of the prison.

и предадох записа за покупката на Варух, син на Нирия, Маасиевия син, пред чичовия ми син Анамеил и пред свидетелите, които подписаха записа за покупката, пред всички юдеи, които седяха в двора на стражата.

13 A nd I charge Baruch before their eyes, saying,

И заръчах на Варух пред тях, като казах:

14 ` Thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Take these books, this purchase-book, both the sealed one and the open one, and thou hast put them in an earthen vessel, that they may remain many days;

Така казва Господ на Силите, Израелевият Бог: Вземи тези записи - този запечатан запис за покупката и този отворен запис - и ги сложи в пръстен съд, за да стоят за дълго време.

15 F or thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Again are houses and fields and vineyards bought in this land.'

Защото така казва Господ на Силите, Израелевият Бог: Пак ще се купуват в тази земя къщи, ниви и лозя.

16 A nd I pray unto Jehovah -- after my giving the purchase-book unto Baruch son of Neriah -- saying,

А след като предадох записа за покупката на Варух, Нириевия син, се помолих на Господа:

17 ` Ah, Lord Jehovah, lo, Thou hast made the heavens and the earth by Thy great power, and by Thy stretched-out arm; there is nothing too wonderful for Thee:

О, Господи Йехова; ето, Ти си създал небето и земята с голямата Си сила и с простряната Си мишца; няма нищо трудно за Тебе,

18 D oing kindness to thousands, and recompensing iniquity of fathers into the bosom of their sons after them; God, the great, the mighty, Jehovah of Hosts His name,

Който показваш милост към хиляди родове, а въздаваш беззаконието на бащите в пазвата на децата им след тях; великият, могъщественият Бог, Господ на Силите е името Му,

19 G reat in counsel, and mighty in act, in that Thine eyes are open on all the ways of the sons of Adam, to give to each according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

велик в намерения и силен в дела, Чиито очи са отворени над всички пътища на човешките деца, за да въздадеш на всеки според пътищата му и според плода на делата му;

20 I n that thou hast done signs and wonders in the land of Egypt unto this day, and in Israel, and among men, and Thou dost make for Thee a name as this day.

Ти, Който си извършил знамения и чудеса в Египетската земя, известни дори до днес и в Израел, и между другите хора, и си придоби име, каквото е днес;

21 ` And Thou bringest forth Thy people Israel from the land of Egypt, with signs and with wonders, and by a strong hand, and by a stretched-out arm, and by great fear,

и си извел народа Си Израел от Египетската земя със знамения и чудеса, с мощна ръка, с издигната мишца и с голям ужас;

22 A nd thou givest to them this land that thou didst swear to their fathers to give to them, a land flowing with milk and honey,

и си им дал тази земя, за която си се заклел на бащите им да я дадеш на тях - земя, където тече мляко и мед;

23 A nd they come in, and possess it, and they have not hearkened to Thy voice, and in Thy law have not walked, all that which Thou didst lay a charge on them to do they have not done, and Thou dost proclaim them all this evil.

и те влязоха и я завладяха; но понеже не послушаха гласа Ти, нито ходиха по закона Ти и не направиха нито едно нещо от всичко, което си им заповядал да правят, затова си докарал върху тях цялото това зло.

24 ` Lo, the mounts -- they have come in to the city to capture it, and the city hath been given into the hand of the Chaldeans who are fighting against it, because of the sword, and the famine, and the pestilence; and that which Thou hast spoken hath come to pass, and lo, Thou art seeing;

Ето могилите! Неприятелите стигнаха до града, за да го завладеят; и градът е предаден в ръката на халдейците, които воюват против него, поради меча и глада, и мора; и това, което си говорил, стана; ето, Ти виждаш!

25 Y et Thou hast said unto me, O Lord Jehovah, Buy for thee the field with money, and cause witnesses to testify -- and the city hath been given into the hand of the Chaldeans!'

А въпреки това, Господи Боже, Ти ми каза: Купи си нивата с пари и повикай свидетели; при все че градът е предаден в ръката на халдейците.

26 A nd the word of Jehovah is unto Jeremiah, saying:

Тогава Господнето слово дойде към Йеремия и каза:

27 ` Lo, I Jehovah, God of all flesh: For Me is anything too wonderful?

Ето, Аз съм Господ, Бог на всяка твар; има ли нещо трудно за Мене?

28 ` Therefore, thus said Jehovah, Lo, I am giving this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he hath captured it;

Затова така казва Господ: Ето, ще предам този град в ръката на халдейците и в ръката на вавилонския цар Навуходоносор и той ще го превземе.

29 A nd come in have the Chaldeans who are fighting against this city, and they have set this city on fire, and have burned it, and the houses on whose roofs they made perfume to Baal, and poured out libations to other gods, so as to provoke Me to anger.

И халдейците, които воюват против този град, ще дойдат и като запалят този град, ще го изгорят заедно с къщите, върху чиито покриви кадеха на Ваал и правеха възлияния на други богове, и Ме разгневяваха.

30 F or the sons of Israel and the sons of Judah have been only doing evil in Mine eyes, from their youth; for the sons of Israel are only provoking Me with the work of their hands -- an affirmation of Jehovah.

Защото израелтяните и юдеите са извършвали само това, което беше зло пред Мен, от младостта си; защото израелтяните не правеха друго освен да Ме разгневяват с делата на ръцете си, казва Господ.

31 ` For a cause of Mine anger, and a cause of My fury, hath this city been to Me, even from the day that they built it, and unto this day -- to turn it aside from before My face,

Защото от деня, когато съградиха този град, дори до днес той е раздразнявал гнева Ми и яростта Ми, за да го отхвърля от лицето Си

32 B ecause of all the evil of the sons of Israel, and of the sons of Judah that they have done, so as to provoke Me -- they, their kings, their heads, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

поради цялото зло, което израелтяните и юдеите извършиха и Ме раздразняваха - те, царете им, първенците им, свещениците им, пророците им, Юдовите мъже и йерусалимските жители.

33 A nd they turn unto Me the neck, and not the face, and teaching them, rising early and teaching, and they are not hearkening to accept instruction.

Те обърнаха гръб към Мен, а не лице; и при все че Аз ги учех, като ставах рано и ги поучавах, те пак не послушаха и не приеха поука;

34 ` And they set their abominations in the house over which My name is called, so as to defile it;

а поставиха мерзостите си в дома, който се нарича с Моето име, и го оскверниха;

35 A nd they build the high places of Baal, that in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through to Molech, which I did not command them, nor did it come up on my heart to do this abomination, so as to cause Judah to sin.

и съградиха високите места на Ваал, които са в долината на Еномовия син, за да превеждат синовете и дъщерите си през огъня на Молох - нещо, което не съм им заповядал, нито е идвала на сърцето Ми мисълта, че ще извършат тази мерзост, за да подтикнат Юда да съгрешава.

36 ` And now, therefore, thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, concerning this city, of which ye are saying, It hath been given into the hand of the king of Babylon by sword, and by famine, and by pestilence,

И така, сега така казва Господ, Израелевият Бог, за този град, за който вие казвате: Ще бъде предаден в ръката на вавилонския цар с меч, глад и мор:

37 L o, I am gathering them out of all the lands whither I have driven them in Mine anger, and in My fury, and in great wrath, and I have brought them back unto this place, and have caused them to dwell confidently;

Ето, ще ги събера от всички страни, където ги бях изгонил в гнева Си, в яростта Си и в голямото Си негодувание; и като ги върна в това място, ще ги населя в безопасност;

38 a nd they have been to Me for a people, and I am to them for God;

и те ще Ми бъдат народ, и Аз ще им бъда Бог;

39 a nd I have given to them one heart, and one way, to fear Me all the days, for good to them, and to their sons after them:

и ще им дам едно сърце да ходят в един път, за да се боят от Мене винаги - за тяхно добро и за доброто на децата им след тях;

40 a nd I have made for them a covenant age-during, in that I turn not back from after them for My doing them good, and My fear I put in their heart, so as not to turn aside from me;

и ще сключа с тях вечен завет, че няма да се отвърна от тях да ги диря, за да им правя добро; и ще вложа в сърцата им страх от Мене, за да не отстъпят от Мене;

41 a nd I have rejoiced over them to do them good, and have planted them in this land in truth, with all my heart, and with all My soul.

дори ще се радвам над тях да им правя добро и ще ги насадя с вярност в тази земя, с цялото Си сърце и с цялата Си душа.

42 ` For thus said Jehovah: As I brought in unto this people all this great evil, so I am bringing in on them all the good that I am speaking concerning them;

Защото така казва Господ: Както докарах върху този народ цялото това голямо зло, така ще докарам върху тях и цялото добро, което съм им обещал.

43 a nd bought hath been the field in this land of which ye are saying, A desolation it, without man and beast, it hath been given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

Ще се купуват ниви в тази земя, за която казвате: Пуста е без човек или животно; предадена е в ръката на халдейците.

44 F ields with money they buy, so as to write in a book, and to seal, and to cause witnesses to testify, in the land of Benjamin, and in suburbs of Jerusalem, and in cities of Judah, and in cities of the hill-country, and in cities of the low country, and in cities of the south, for I turn back their captivity -- an affirmation of Jehovah.'

Ще купуват ниви с пари и като подписват записи и ги запечатват, ще повикват свидетели във Вениаминовата земя и в йерусалимските околности, в Юдовите градове и в планинските градове, в полските градове и в южните градове; защото ще ги върна от плена им, казва Господ.
