1 A s to sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel -- for he the first-born, and on account of his profaning the couch of his father hath his birthright been given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, and not to be reckoned by genealogy for the birthright,

синовете на първородния на Израел - Рувим, бяха: Енох, Фалу, Есрон и Хармий.

4 S ons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,

Синове на Йоил: негов син - Семая; негов син - Гог; негов син - Семей;

5 M icah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son,

негов син - Михей; негов син - Реайя, негов син - Ваал;

6 B eerah his son, whom Tilgath-Pilneser king of Asshur removed; he prince of the Reubenite.

негов син - Веера, когото асирийският цар Теглат-Фелнасар заведе в плен; той беше първенец на Рувимовите синове.

7 A nd his brethren, by their families, in the genealogy of their generations, heads: Jeiel, and Zechariah,

А началниците на братята му според семействата им, когато родословието на поколенията им бе изброено, бяха Еиил, Захария

8 a nd Bela son of Azaz, son of Shema, son of Joel -- he is dwelling in Aroer, even unto Nebo and Baal-Meon;

и Вела, син на Азас, син на Сема, син на Йоил; той се засели в Ароир и до Нево и Ваал-меон;

9 a nd at the east he dwelt even unto the entering in of the wilderness, even from the river Phrat, for their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.

и към изток се засели чак до входа на пустинята от река Ефрат, защото добитъкът им беше се умножил в галаадската земя.

10 A nd in the days of Saul they have made war with the Hagarites, who fall by their hand, and they dwell in their tents over all the face of the east of Gilead.

А в дните на Саул воюваха против агаряните, които паднаха от ръката им; и те се заселиха в шатрите им по цялата източна страна на Галаад.

11 A nd the sons of Gad, over-against them have dwelt in the land of Bashan unto Salcah,

И Гадовите потомци се заселиха срещу тях във васанската земя до Салха,

12 J oel the head, and Shapham the second, and Jaanai and Shaphat in Bashan;

от които Йоил беше началникът, а Сафам вторият, и Янай, и Сафат във Васан.

13 a nd their brethren of the house of their fathers Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber, seven.

И братята им, от бащините им домове, бяха: Михаил, Месулам, Сева, Йорай, Яхан, Зия и Евер, седмина.

14 T hese sons of Abihail son of Huri, son of Jaroah, son of Gilead, son of Michael, son of Jeshishai, son of Jahdo, son of Buz;

Тези са синовете на Авихаил, син на Урия, син на Яроя, син на Галаад, син на Михаил, син на Есисая, син на Ядо, син на Вуз.

15 A hi son of Abdiel, son of Guni, head of the house of their fathers;

Ахий, син на Авдиил, Гуниевия син, беше началник на бащиния им дом.

16 a nd they dwell in Gilead in Bashan, and in her small towns, and in all suburbs of Sharon, upon their outskirts;

Те се заселиха в Галаад, във Васан, в селата му и във всичките околности на Сарон до пределите им.

17 a ll of them reckoned themselves by genealogy in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.

Всички те бяха изброени според родословията си в дните на Юдейския цар Йотам и в дните на Израелевия цар Еровоам. Източните племена

18 S ons of Reuben, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, of sons of valour, men bearing shield and sword, and treading bow, and taught in battle, forty and four thousand and seven hundred and sixty, going out to the host.

От Рувимовите потомци, Гадовите потомци и половината от Манасиевото племе юначните мъже, които носеха щит и меч, стреляха с лък и бяха обучени на бой, възлизаха на четиридесет и четири хиляди седемстотин и шестдесет души, които можеха да излизат на война.

19 A nd they make war with the Hagarites, and Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab,

Те воюваха против агаряните, етуряните, нафисците и нодавците.

20 a nd they are helped against them, and the Hagarites are given into their hand, and all who with them, for they cried to God in battle, and He was entreated of them, because they trusted in Him.

Те бяха подпомогнати против тях, така че агаряните и всички, които бяха с тях, се предадоха в ръцете им; защото в битката те извикаха към Бога и Той ги послуша, понеже уповаваха на Него.

21 A nd they take captive their cattle, of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of human beings a hundred thousand;

И плениха добитъка им: петдесет хиляди от камилите им, двеста и петдесет хиляди от овцете им и две хиляди от ослите им, също и сто хиляди души;

22 f or many have fallen pierced, for of God the battle; and they dwell in their stead till the removal.

защото мнозина паднаха убити, понеже изходът на боя беше от Бога. И се заселиха на мястото им и там живяха до пленяването.

23 A nd the sons of the half of the tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land, from Bashan unto Baal-Hermon, and Senir, and mount Hermon, they have multiplied.

А потомците на половината Манасиево племе се заселиха в онази земя; те нараснаха от Васан до Ваал-ермон и Санир и планината Ермон.

24 A nd these heads of the house of their fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, men mighty in valour, men of name, heads to the house of their fathers.

Ето началниците на бащините им домове: Ефер, Есий, Елиил, Азрил, Йеремия, Одуйя и Ядиил, мъже силни и храбри, мъже именити, началници на бащините си домове.

25 A nd they trespass against the God of their fathers, and go a-whoring after the gods of the peoples of the land whom God destroyed from their presence;

Но понеже те престъпваха против Бога на бащите си, като блудстваха след боговете на народите на онази земя, които Бог беше погубил пред тях,

26 a nd stir up doth the God of Israel the spirit of Pul king of Asshur, and the spirit of Tilgath-Pilneser king of Asshur, and he removeth them -- even the Reubenite, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh -- and bringeth them in to Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and the river of Gozan unto this day.

затова Израелевият Бог подбуди духа на асирийския цар Фул и духа на асирийския цар Теглат-Фелнасар, който плени Рувимовите синове и Гадовите синове, и половината от Манасиевото племе, и ги заведе в Ала, в Авор, в Ара и до реката Гозан, където са и до днес.
