1 A nd the people of the land take Jehoahaz son of Josiah, and cause him to reign instead of his father in Jerusalem.

Тогава народът от Юдейската земя взе Йоахаз, Йосиевия син, и го направиха цар в Йерусалим вместо баща му.

2 A son of three and twenty years Jehoahaz in his reigning, and three months he hath reigned in Jerusalem,

Йоахаз беше на възраст двадесет и три години, когато се възцари, и царува̀ три месеца в Йерусалим.

3 a nd turn him aside doth the king of Egypt in Jerusalem, and fineth the land a hundred talents of silver, and a talent of gold;

Защото египетският цар го свали от престола в Йерусалим и наложи на земята данък от сто таланта сребро и един талант злато.

4 a nd the king of Egypt causeth Eliakim his brother to reign over Judah and Jerusalem, and turneth his name to Jehoiakim; and Jehoahaz his brother hath Necho taken, and bringeth him in to Egypt.

Египетският цар постави брата му Елиаким за цар над Юдея и Йерусалим, като промени името му на Йоаким. А брат му Йоахаз Нехао взе и го заведе в Египет.

5 A son of twenty and five years Jehoiakim in his reigning, and eleven years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah his God;

Йоаким беше на възраст двадесет и пет години, когато се възцари, и царува̀ единадесет години в Йерусалим; и вършѝ зло пред Господа, своя Бог.

6 a gainst him hath Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon come up, and bindeth him in brazen fetters to take him away to Babylon.

Вавилонският цар Навуходоносор излезе против него и го окова в окови, за да го заведе във Вавилон.

7 A nd of the vessels of the house of Jehovah hath Nebuchadnezzar brought in to Babylon, and putteth them in his temple in Babylon.

Навуходоносор занесе във Вавилон и от вещите на Господния дом и ги сложи в храма си във Вавилон.

8 A nd the rest of the matters of Jehoiakim, and his abominations that he hath done, and that which is found against him, lo, they are written on the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, and reign doth Jehoiachin his son in his stead.

А останалите дела на Йоаким и мерзостите, които извърши, и това, което се намери в него, са записани в книгите на Израелевите и Юдейските царе. И вместо него се възцари синът му Йоахин.

9 A son of eight years is Jehoiachin in his reigning, and three months and ten days he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah;

Йоахин беше на възраст осемнадесет години, когато се възцари, и царува̀ три месеца и десет дни в Йерусалим; и вършѝ зло пред Господа.

10 a nd at the turn of the year hath king Nebuchadnezzar sent and bringeth him in to Babylon, with the desirable vessels of the house of Jehovah, and causeth Zedekiah his brother to reign over Judah and Jerusalem.

А в края на годината цар Навуходоносор прати да го доведат във Вавилон заедно с отбраните вещи на Господния дом; и направи Седекия, брата на баща му, цар над Юдея и Йерусалим.

11 A son of twenty and one years Zedekiah in his reigning, and eleven years he hath reigned in Jerusalem;

Седекия беше на възраст двадесет и една година, когато се възцари, и царува̀ единадесет години в Йерусалим.

12 a nd he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah his God, he hath not been humbled before Jeremiah the prophet from the mouth of Jehovah;

Той вършѝ зло пред Господа, своя Бог; не се смири пред пророк Йеремия, който му говореше от Господните уста.

13 a nd also, against king Nebuchadnezzar he hath rebelled, who had caused him to swear by God, and he hardeneth his neck, and strengtheneth his heart, against turning back unto Jehovah, God of Israel.

А още се и надигна против цар Навуходоносор, който го беше заклел в Бога в подчиненост; и закорави врата си и упорства в сърцето си да не се обърне към Господа, Израелевия Бог.

14 A lso, all the heads of the priests, and the people, having multiplied to commit a trespass according to all the abominations of the nations, and they defile the house of Jehovah that He hath sanctified in Jerusalem.

При това всички по-главни свещеници и народът преумножиха престъпленията си според всички мерзости на народите и оскверниха дома на Господа, който Той беше осветил в Йерусалим.

15 A nd Jehovah, God of their fathers, sendeth unto them by the hand of His messengers -- rising early and sending -- for He hath had pity on His people, and on His habitation,

А Господ, Бог на бащите им, ги предупреждаваше чрез Своите посланици, като ставаше рано и ги пращаше, защото жалеше народа Си и обиталището Си.

16 a nd they are mocking at the messengers of God, and despising His words, and acting deceitfully with His prophets, till the going up of the fury of Jehovah against His people -- till there is no healing.

Но те се присмиваха на Божиите посланици, презираха словата на Господа и се подиграваха с пророците Му, докато гневът Му се издигна против народа Му така, че нямаше изцеление.

17 A nd He causeth to go up against them the king of the Chaldeans, and he slayeth their chosen ones by the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and hath had no pity on young man and virgin, old man and very aged -- the whole He hath given into his hand.

Затова Той доведе против тях халдейския цар, който изби юношите им с меч, вътре в дома на светилището им, и не пожали нито юноша, нито девица, нито старец, нито белокос; всичките предаде в ръката му.

18 A nd all the vessels of the house of God, the great and the small, and the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the king and of his princes -- the whole he hath brought in to Babylon.

И всички вещи на Божия дом, големи и малки, и съкровищата на Господния дом, и съкровищата на царя и първенците му - всички тях занесе във Вавилон.

19 A nd they burn the house of God, and break down the wall of Jerusalem, and all its palaces they have burnt with fire, and all its desirable vessels -- to destruction.

След това изгориха Божия дом и събориха стената на Йерусалим, и всичките му палати изгориха с огън, и всичките му скъпоценни вещи унищожиха.

20 A nd he removeth those left of the sword unto Babylon, and they are to him and to his sons for servants, till the reigning of the kingdom of Persia,

А оцелелите от меч Навуходоносор отведе във Вавилон, където останаха слуги на него и на синовете му до времето на персийското царство;

21 t o fulfil the word of Jehovah in the mouth of Jeremiah, till the land hath enjoyed its sabbaths; all the days of the desolation it kept sabbath -- to the fulness of seventy years.

за да се изпълни Господнето слово, изговорено чрез устата на Йеремия, докато земята се наслаждава със съботите си; защото през цялото време, когато лежеше пуста, тя пазеше събота, докато се изпълнят седемдесет години.

22 A nd in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, at the completion of the word of Jehovah in the mouth of Jeremiah, hath Jehovah waked up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, and he causeth an intimation to pass over into all his kingdom, and also in writing, saying,

А в първата година на персийския цар Кир, за да се изпълни Господнето слово, изговорено чрез устата на Йеремия, Господ подбуди духа на персийския цар Кир и той прогласи по цялото си царство, още и писмено обяви:

23 ` Thus said Cyrus king of Persia, All kingdoms of the earth hath Jehovah, God of the heavens, given to me, and He hath laid a charge on me to build to Him a house in Jerusalem, that in Judah; who is among you of all His people? Jehovah his God with him, and he doth go up.'

Така казва персийският цар Кир: Небесният Бог Йехова ми е дал всички царства на света; и Той ми е заръчал да Му построя дом в Йерусалим, който е в Юдея. И така, който между вас, от целия Негов народ, е съгласен, Йехова, неговият Бог, да бъде с него, нека тръгне за родната земя.
